you'd think "nudity on its own is not taboo in many cultures of the world" is essential trivia that everyone encounters by the age of ten, which informs people how taboos are non-rigid social constructs. but no, every day you will meet people containing a lifetime of informed opinions and moral frameworks, whose world views would be shattered by telling them "nudity on its own is not taboo in many cultures of the world"

it’s actually wild how terrified of the general public most usamericans are. like you don’t realize it if you’re someone who mostly walks and takes transit and spends a lot of time in populous public spaces but then you talk to one of the thousands of people that seemingly never set foot in any public space besides a parking garage or a starbucks and you suddenly understand why it’s so easy for fascist rhetoric about the dangerous alien to take root. this country’s median voter pretty much never interacts with strangers who aren’t their coworkers or people they met on dating apps

The Story of Agent D (Part 2) - Just Dance Theory
This theory assumes that Gimme More (Just Dance 2024) is a sequel to Toxic (Just Dance 2023) as elaborated in this post.
Said post also contains several pieces of evidence on which i base this theory, so if you havent seen it check it out!
>>>>> [read Part 1]
Just as a heads up: This is gonna be a LONG one. And quite the rollercoaster ride. So get some snacks and a drink, maybe use the toilet and hold onto your seatbelt, it's gettin' wild!
Part 2 - Gimme More (Just Dance 2024)
Gimme More is about further misadventures of Agent D and Captain Catastropha after their initial meeting during Toxic (2023).
The map takes place in Agent D's secret base where she gets all her missions dispatched to her.
It is unclear if Agent D is the only agent that occupies the base, or if her base is in a different location to who would be her higher up. The location of Agent D's base is unconfirmed as of now anyways.
One striking feature of Agent D's base is the plane that has been parked behind the screens. This plane is most likely the plane from Toxic, though due to the area's lighting the plane's color cannot be determined accurately.
If the plane seen in the background IS the same plane from Toxic, and not a private jet - It is unclear how exactly it came into the posession of Agent D and how legitimate her posession of the plane is. It could have been given to her after the successful "Operation SKY"; Or she might have just kept it (stolen)
It seems that since Captain Catastropha was the only one (aside from the hijackers) to have seen the real Agent D during the events of Toxic (2023) he was promptly integrated into the Spies Network as a countermeasure to him being privy to top secret information. The pilot was instated as an informant and became Agent D's civillian sidekick.

Catastropha could have been assigned to the agent on behest of HQ but I feel like the agency would let Agent D do as she pleases, meaning she could have taken him on as a partner - She literally has the plane that Catastropha was piloting.
Agent D and her new partner get assigned to a number missions, that may or may not involve using some of Agent D's old disguises.
Since the costumes shown off during Gimme More are based on the appearences of previous Brittney coaches, this throws into question especially Work Work - Classic (JD 2019) and Circus - Extreme (JD 2016). Are these costumes based on real people or completely made up identities for Agent D to assume on a mission? Are the original maps, that the costumes are from, ret-conned to be missions of Agent D? Were those disguises specifically made for the mission they are used in? Is Gimme More the first time those disguises are used? All these questions sadly do not have an answer as of yet.
Their first mission - "Operation METAL" takes place at a construction site in Dancity. for the Mission Agent D poses as the Site Manager seen in Work Work (JD 2019) to investigate for any activity of the opposed organisation, whose members/goons I will be calling "Black Suits" from here on out. For ease of convenience.
Work Work has an Extreme Version; the coach for which could simply be a male construction worker or the actual Site Manager of the construction site. Agent D might be investigating as an assistant or substitute to the Work Work - Extreme coach.

The construction site is indeed filled with Black Suits, it seems they are trying to build something for their organisation. Captain Catastropha kinda blows their cover and Agent D has to help him out by fighting off the Black Suits trying to capture him. This involves operating a crane which Catastropha grabs onto to escape his persuers.
From the action at the construction site Captain Catastropha inevitably suffered a minor leg injury that went unnoticed at the time. Luckily, "Operation HEART" would take them to a hospital in Cyberfunk, as the secret organisation seems to be plotting something there too. So when Catasropha's leg started hurting, he was immediately diagnosed and went under the hospitals care.
The hospital might not necessarily be run by the Black Suits Organisation but there might be a few scientists and doctors of them there, conducting some research.
While Agent D goes undercover as a Nurse to investigate, she has to prevent the Black Suits from kidnapping the recovering pilot. They seem to have set their sights on her partner to try and use him as leverage against the Agency. Or perhaps for some other connection he might have had before becoming an asset to the Agency
Catastropha is chased through the hospital and ends up trapped in one of the Rooms. Agent D gives him an opening to escape, but then on the day he was supposed to be discharged, he dissapeared. Despite her best efforts Captain Catastropha had fallen into the enemies hands.
Obviously the next mission is to rescue the informant. Agent D manages to track the location of Captain Catastropha and finds he is being kept in Carnivallium.
This scene could also be seen as uhm… Agent D literally hacking the fucking matrix of the Just Dance Universe to find Captain Catastropha and bring him out of the simulation or something. Since that interpretation is a little too complicated and wacky I do not subscribe to it. Alternatively an argument could be made that Agent D is hacking her own agency's database and created a completely new Mission about rescuing her partner and assigned it to herself, or hacked the mission to be the agent who would recieve it. This interpretation is mainly supported by the lyrics "I just can't... control myself."
Additionally it's interesting that there seems to be data on Captain Catastropha in the agencys database in the first place, meaning Catastropha is most likely registered as some sort of affilliate and his involvement with Agent D is known to the agency. She could not have secretly made him her partner behind the agencys eyes. It could also mean that the Agency has data on literally every single coach. But i do not subscribe to this interpretation.
Before Agent D puts on her disguse for "Operation CURTAIN", Captain Catastropha appears on the screens surrounded by Black Suits, who appear to be threatening him. Perhaps this is actually a glipse at a mission that was assigned to Captain Catastropha alone. And he got captured then, not at the Hospital. So "Operation CURTAIN" could have been assigned to Catstropha first and then taken over by Agent D once the former was captured.
During the rescue mission "Operation CURTAIN" Agent D poses as a Performer of the venue the secret organisation was using as a cover spot. It seems the Black Suits wanted to make a show out of executing the poor guy in front of an audience.
She infiltrates the performance of the Black Suits. During the show, she eggs on the other performers, who end up completely exhausted from trying to keep up with the agile spy.
The venue in question seems to be a variete or cabaret club that serves as entertainment for the Black Suits.
As for the coaches featured in Circus - Classic (JD 2016), I have no idea who they might be or if they are part of the Black Suits' Carnivallium venue. But I do believe either the Baddass Clown (P1) or the Romantic Harlequin (P3) to become the Fun House (JD 2014) Coach - Folie at some point, who herself is implied to have ties to Illuquium from A Queda (JD 2024).
After having rescued Captain Catastropha one too many times Agent D takes on the next mission assigned to her alone. As the pilot has turned ot to be quite the liability on the field, there was either an executive descision to have him remain at home base. Or he opted to stay behind on his own accord, after finding that the life of a spy is not suitable for him.
Though it seems leaving Captain Catastropha alone in the base might not have been the best idea either - It doesn't take long for him to find a big red button and his curiosity quickly gets the better of him.

Upon pressing the button, red lights start flashing and an alarm starts blaring. Then the plane which has been in the background all this time suddenly starts its engines and flies out of the base.
The exact effect the Button that was pushed, is actually not as concrete as it would appear. Seemingly the button was for launching the plane, as the plane's start co-incides with the alarm triggered by the button push. But they don't have to necessarily be related. I mean why would a button on a console outside of the plane start a plane that can be started from the inside. And Agent D has been shown to know how to pilot a plane - she would know how to start one too. On another note, since Agent D walked off-screen before Captain Catastropha pushed the button - though it may be implied, she might not necesarily have boarded the jet. These two unknowns give rise to two Scenarios: A) If Agent D is not on board of the plane, that means the button must have launched it. Which would in turn mean that Captain Catastropha just launched a plane with no one inside, and a random ghost plane is just flying around now. B) If Agent D is on on board of the plane, that means she is the one who started it to fly to her next mission Taylor Swift Style. However that makes the effects of the button that Captain Catastropha pushed a complete mystery, but judging from the alarm (as long as it wasn't caused from the plane starting) it cannot be good. Either way it seems that whatever Catastropha did, it's most likely gonna fuck up Agent D's next mission even harder than when he was on the field with her. Or at least she is gonna have to deal with the promlems he caused.
Remaining Questions
What is the Extreme?
youtube
The Extreme Version this time around seems to be simply a different Version of the events unfolding, as we see all the different maps in the screens and it shows off the costumes in the same order as the Classic Version. To me it feels like they made an extreme version firstly because Agent D always gets an Extreme (she deserves), and secondly because the choreo for the classic version doesn't utilize the length of the whole song, in favor of storytelling.
There is a notable absence of the costumes that were seen in the Classic Version (the hologram tubes are empty), as well a noticable lack of Captain Catastropha. Though the Classic Map sections where Agent D jumps into the screen for a scene transistion ARE shown in the background of the Extreme, at the exact same time they would happen in the Classic Version. Therefore I believe that, just like with Toxic - Extreme, Gimme More - Extreme is an extended version of a particular section from the classic version with significantly less going on in the background to not distract from the difficult routine.
Finally I will address the point of Agent D's Outfit being different from her base appearence in the Classic Version. The slight alteration might have been done to accomodate the longer (duration) and harder (difficulty) dance, which was probably performed without any breaks.
Who is the Site Manager?

As touched on during the story section, it is unclear if the Site Manager disguse is modeled after a seperate person or just a disguise that Agent D uses, maybe even with a fake identity attached.
This disguise in particular seems especially made for "Operation METAL", where the aim was to either... A) impersonate the real Site Manager (Which would imply that Work Work P2 is another Person) B) fool the costruction workers on site by pretending to be an assistant or substitute to the Real Site Manager (who would be the Work Work - Extreme Coach). C) pretend to be a 3rd party costruction site inspector - someone who checks if everything is safe and all protocalls are being followed. In which case this disguise could be used for several more undercover investigations. And the Work Work classic map could actualy be a previous Mission of Agent D.
Who is the Performer?
As touched on during the story section, it is unclear if the Performer disguse is modeled after a seperate person or just a disguise that Agent D uses maybe even with a fake identity attached.
This disguise seems far more suited as a general fake identity that Agent D can take on, and is not based on another person. She would use it to apply to places looking for performers (mainly in Carnivallium) to get to move behind the stage without suspicion. In this case Circus - Extreme could actually be a previous mission of Agent D.
Though it is still possible that this disguise is supposed to impersonate the star performer at the Black Suit's Variete in particular. In which case it is unclear what happened to the real Performer (Circus - Extreme Coach) during "Operation CURTAIN".
What about the original Toxic from Just Dance 2?
youtube
It is quite interesting that both disguises associated with the song Toxic (the Nurse & The Air Hostess) see Agent D blend in as a memeber of staff by wearing a work uniform rather than pretend to be someone else or impersonating someone in particular.
I believe the original Toxic map is simply something made by the Just Dance Corperation. (I might elaborrate more on this in a future post.) The coach herself would infact be a licensed professional nurse who works in that Cyberfunk hospital. The hospital might even be situated in the [Gag City] (the real name of that particular City is unknown) seen during Boy's a Liar Pt. 2 (JD 2024) and possibly in Stop this Fire (JD 2025) The TV Station of Dancity "Just Dance" either invited her to dance and share about her Danceverse for their Program. Or it was an advertisment for the Hospital airing on Television.
Basically the Toxic JD 2 Coach is an NPC-type Coach as she and all the other nurses of that hospital would wear the same outfit. During Gimme More Agent D simply disguises as one of the Staff just like she did in the Toxic remake when she disguised herself as a Stewardess, most likely with a fake name too.
In the intro of the Toxic 2023 Remake, the JD 2 Map is shown and two flight attendants dance to it. This might not be Agent D's doing, as the JD 2 map could be said program or advert currently playing on the TV, possibly a re-run. Another possibility is that the flight attendants are literally playing Just Dance at that moment - which is not something peculiar, since for Danger! High Voltage (JD 2023) the map is designed as if the Coaches were playing the Just Dance Game and the real world players are the Coaches. This heavily implies that Just Dance, the game, exists inside of the Just Dance Universe, also as a game, just as it does on Earth. (Though in Danger! High Voltage the game seems to be a bit more advanced - scoring the players flow and creativity in moves over the accuracy.)
What's the significance of Captain Catastropha?

Captain Catastropha for intends and purposes seems to be a simple cameo. He is a regular Pilot who one day had the unfortunate luck to be intangled in a plane hijacking, and due to him having contact with the Secret Agent whose mission it was to foil the hijacking, he needed to be dealt with. The solution of the agency was to make him an asset to them, now that he knows of their existence. However through a series of missions this fish-out-of water quickly showed how unfit for the life of a secret agent he really is. It could be possible that the Pilot is actually a primary target of the Blacksuits due to some familial connections or business relations he might have to powerful leaders. In a way Captain Catastropha also gives Agent D (an otherwise Mary Sue-ish charecter) a weakness. The missions progessively evolve around him:
"Operation SKY" being when they meet for the first time,
"Operation METAL" being their first Mission together,
"Operation HEART" getting sidetracked from the Black Suits attempting to obduct him, untill finally
"Operation CURTAIN" being all about him having to be rescued.
Lastly it seems that despite all hijinks Agent D is indeed quite fond of the silly pilot. Seeing as her life as a Secret Agent must have been quite lonely up untill they partnered up for missions, she would be quite happy to have a friends, despite the chaos it brings.
Further Points
As Gimme More is JD 2024's designated "Tribute Map", paying tribute to Brittney Spears, the background of both Versions features all of the previous Brittney Spears Maps from Just Dance playing on the screens. The lore significance of the ones that aren't returning coaches needs to be deliberated on further.
In both versions of the map, brief mission infos for all featured costumes are shown. Costumes that do not get a graphic are the [purple costume] from Toxic (2023) - Classic Version, the [Spy Gear costume] which featured in both versions of Toxic (2023) and the Gimme More - Extreme costume. The last one probably counts as a negligable modifaction of the Classic Version's base costume. So it doesn't *need* an extra graphic.

The info graphic about Agent D's base appearence is formated as an broken mission. having "!NO INPUT!" as the operation name, and "*=!ERROR!#(-/|" as the Danceverse The symbols * = # ( - / | might be some sort of code.
The "Agent Alias" for Agent D's Base Appearence is "AGENT D." Note the full stop after the "D" - It implies that "D." is an initial. Agent D's real identity must therefore be a female coach whose name starts with the letter "D". And I might know who it could be...
During the outro of the song, Captain Catastropha lipsyncs to the spoken words of Denja, gesturing to Agent D when saying "the legenday miss Brittney Spears" and bashfully steps foreward when saying the "unstoppable Danja" as if referring to himself. This could mean that while Agent D is now the flagship Brittney Spears coach, Captain Catastropha might return for a song by Danja.
Furthermore the name "Danja" can easily be misheard as the word "Danger", something that is capitalized on in both versions of the map
in the Classic Version when the line "Danja, Danja, Danja, Danja" is said, a hatch in the stage opens up from which a bright light emerges, before a cage with Captain Catastropha inside appears, that is lowering towards said light. This implies the light/ Pit below the stage is dangerous, likely a firepit as the white light takes on a yellowish orange tint.
In the Extreme Version during the same Line, the screens behind Agent D turn black and red as during the next section some kind of alarm sequence plays out. Before that line, during the stutterd "More" vocal, the screens even glitched out and showed Warning/Error symbols.
This might be a bit far-fetched but due to Captain Catastropha seemingly identifying himself with the lyric mentioning Denja, that is sung by Denja, a case could be made for his full name being either Danja or Danger Catastropha.
If the names said during the outro of the song referr to coaches, "The incredible Lago" has no coach ascribed to it as there are only two coaches on screen during the line. As such "Lago" might referr to either the (as of yet unseen) Boss of Agent D or even the Leader of the Black Suits. I lean in favor of the former possibility.
The line "the incredible Lago" can easily be misheard as "the incredible lime gold" too, "lime gold" being used as a term for someone who likes to stand in the "lime light"/ likes to be the center of attention. This again could be meant to referr to Agent D, making the full misheard lyrics: "Bet you didn't see that one coming/ The incredible Lime gold - The legendary miss Brittney Spears [coach, Agent D]/ And the Unstoppable Danger[/Danja Catastropha]."
The line "Ah, you're gonna have to remove me. Cuz' I ain't goin Nowhere." which is also lipsynced by Captain Catastropha, might be literal dialogue from the coach. After having been injured, captured and almost killed, he decides to stay at the base, saying: "You are gonna have to remove me [From the next mission/ from the agent list], cuz I ain't goin nowhere [else]." - he outright refuses to go on further missions.
Almost all of Agent D's disguises feature a wings-symbol. even when previous iterations of the costumes didn't have it. Only the Air Hostess costume does not have one.
During Gimme More the symbol also appears on the floor of Agent D's base, in the screens and on the cosole for the button that is pressed by Captain Catastropha. It might be supposed to be the insignia of the Agency she works for (Which is quite counterintuitive to a disguise as it would give her away as an agent immediatly)
Captain Catastropha has the same wings-symbol on his hat and as a badge even in his original appearence in Dragostea Din Tei (JD 2017). The wings-symbol also appeared during Toxic (2023): On the doors of the plane, and diagetically in the title card on the wall for what might be the entrance to the galley area at the back of the plane. This would imply that the symbol is ALSO the logo of the Airline he works for - Just Dance Air.
It seems like the airline that Captain Catastropha is working for is the same organisation as the agency that Agent D works for. Be it that the airline has a secret spies department or that Just Dance Air is a front for Just Dance Agents. I might go more in depth about this peculiar detail in another Post.
During Gimme More - Classic there are multiple instances in which we see the costumes that Agent D uses for her missions as holograms displayed in tubes or pods. This could imply that Agent D is using some kind of Illusion or cloaking technology to disguise herself by projecting an image that alters her appearence, rather than dressing up in physical costumes and wigs. But it could also just be a stylistic choice with no implication.

Whenever we see the full shot of the costumes, there is actually 6 pods, with only 4 Costumes. The most outer pods are empty. Notably the right one is purple while the left one is red. Based on these colors I would say that the purple pod is supposed to hold the purple costume from Toxic - Classic, While the Red Pod is supposed to hold the red Spy Gear costume.
Considering Agent D's appearence during Gimme More, maybe she is wearing a combination of both costumes. That would explain why the pods are empty, as the costumes would be in use at the same time. Though this theory is quite weak and I do not subscribe to it.
Alternativley the empty pods could also mean that there are going to be two new costumes that aren't done yet, or that those particular disguises have been trashed in favor of two new disguises. We can't really theorize about much here since we don't know who actually makes these disguises - if it is Agent D herself or if she is provided the costumes by the agency as part of her arsenal.
Thats it for now- appologies for this ungodly long post but there is just so much in this map to consider, and I already cut out some more off-topic tangents that I will dedicate seperate Posts to. Not to mention the story told in Gimme More is much tighter than the story of Toxic.
This took very long to make with all the memes and photo-editing... My autism still isnt powerfull enough to power through it all in 2 days.

Sometimes I do wonder
Should I make "Multi-A's D.N.I."? Its like a regular DNI (Do Not Interact)

or would that be to quirky of a pun...

For me, censorship laws are a lot like the death penalty. There are people I wish would die, but I don't want the government to have any say over who lives or dies (because then they can stretch laws out to justify killing someone they dont like). There are stories that I think are reprehensible and should have never been written, but I don't want the government to have any say over which stories are reprehensible (because then they can stretch out what they deem wrong out to fit anything they don't like)
