The shift from the tolerable cold to the freezing New York winter was not much of a shock to you and your boyfriends. After all, this always happened in the big apple. 

The winter usually called for hot chocolate and staying inside all day, with the warmth of the heater and the company of the ones you love (or the things you love). No one would complain with that, right?

However, you went on to discover that your boyfriend Wade had a knack for what people would consider a 'childish activity', like building a snowman, which was exactly what he was trying to get you and Logan to do with him.

"Come on. Please? I bet we'll have *way* more fun outside than just sitting here, watching a boring soap opera." Wade pleaded.

"We can't go outside in this weather, bub. It's freezing." Logan countered. He did have to admit, the soap opera was getting pretty boring, but he'd rather stay inside and warm than go outside at the moment.

"So? We can't get sick anyway." Wade waved his hand dismissively.

"We might not, but they can." Logan growled, pointing at you sharply.

"Oh, you're right." Wade realized, then sighed. "Now you have to make a oneshot with a mutant reader who can't get sick, multifandomghost! This isn't inclusive!"

Logan rolled his eyes at Wade's comment, then looked back at you. "Do you want to go?"

You shrugged. "If we don't, Wade will spend the whole evening complaining."

Logan chuckled. "Fair enough."

Wade looked between you two, beaming with happiness.

"Go get them a coat, 'Pool, and I'll think about it." Logan muttered, slowly getting up from the couch and helping you up too in the process. Wade zoomed into a room and grabbed the first thick jacket he saw, and handed it to you.

"Thanks." You muttered as you put the jacket on. Logan and Wade were also covering themselves but with less thoroughness, as neither of them really minded the cold. Wade opened the door of the apartment and tried to restrain himself from hurrying you up.

The three of you found the perfect spot for Wade to build his snowman, with snow soft enough to mold easily. The latter immediately kneeled and began forming a ball.

And after about ten minutes, you were beginning to freeze. Standing in the same spot for a long time without moving didn't help.

"Can we go now?" You asked, deadpanned, as you shivered from the cold. The cold, bitter wind hit you on the face. Wade was still applying the final details to his creation while Logan held your hand in an attempt to keep you somewhat warm.

"Wait, wait! I'm just missing this very important detail...." Wade said, beginning to form a snow cock, and when Logan noticed, he grabbed Wade by the nape of his coat.

"Nope. We're leaving *now*." Logan grumbled, pulling Wade away and towards the apartment complex with you trailing behind them.

"Finally." You sighed, shuddering, as the three of you entered the apartment complex. "I'm cold as fuck."

"It's okay, babycakes. We'll warm you up once we get home." Wade said suggestively, only for Logan to smack him upside on the head.

throwback to endings of 2023 where i thought about the new papa

I thought he'd be the worst asshole to ever step into the ministry and that everyone would hate him, but he'd release a damn good album

Anyway, i thought he wouldn't treat the ghouls right and that they'd hate him, so much so that they wouldn't listen to him, even in concerts. it's even worse because he disrespects and talks shit about copia even though he knows the ghouls have some connection to him

i used to think that, one night, the ghouls just get sick and tired of the new papa and decide to stop playing the song they're playing. The new papa would look around, confused, signal the ghouls to play, but they'd ignore him and leave their spots and their instruments. they slowly approach him, surrounding him, as the new papa panics, because wtf??????? 

then, as the ghouls surround him, they attack him, and kill him as the lights go out. The ministry finds out and while the they try to find a replacement copia goes back on the road temporarily

MY SKELETÁ + SKELETOUR PREDICTIONS ‼️‼️

o - Cenopath will be my favorite song from the album

o - There will be at least one transition in the album (I think it'll be between Umbra and Excelsis or De Profundis Borealis and Cenopath)

o - De Profundis Borealis will sound like it was made in the Infestissumam era

o - Missilia Amori will be a fan favorite

o - Missilia Amori will sound like it was made in the Meliora era

o - The album itself will be nominated for Best Rock Album and at least one song will be nominated for Best Metal Performance at the Grammys (i hope)

o - Guiding Lights will have a similar theme to Watcher In The Sky or they will be somewhat similar in other senses

o - Peacefield will be similar to both Imperium and Respite

o - They will probably never play one song from the album. I don't know which one but it will probably be a loved one in the fandom (like Darkness at the Heart of My Love)

o - Satanized will be one of the first songs in the Skeletour setlist (not the first song, I'd like to think they'll begin with Imperium and Kaisarion like in the Imperatour)

Bonus

o - The new ghoulette is an Air ghoulette, and I'd like to nickname her a random name while the AO3 fanfiction writers decide on a name (edit: I've seen people are calling her Nimbus, but... I feel like it's too early to name her and I'd like to take a break from the whole cloud name things)
