Chapter 3

Tomorrow came quicker than Kai would have liked. He wished nighttime would have just lasted even if only for a few seconds.

Kai begrudgingly got out of bed and the zombie walked to the bathroom which was connected to both his and Saya’s room. He wanted so badly to open the other door just too sneak a peek in on her.

But he refrained himself.

Just as he was coming out of the shower when there were three sharp yet soft knocks at his door.

He walked over and opened it.

“Oh, good. You are awake. Finish getting dressed and meet us downstairs in ten minutes. We will have a quick breakfast and then head out.” David said before walking away.

Kai rolled his eyes as David walked away, could not even be bothered to say good morning or anything of the sort.

When he was done getting dressed, he went downstairs.

As he walked down, he noticed everyone was indeed downstairs. It is like five in the morning.

Louis was dishing food out to everyone.

Mao came over and grabbed Kai’s hand and pulled him over to the table.

“Oh Kai, I’m going to miss you so much.” Mao said dramatically and pursed her lips as though she was going to cry.

“Come on Mao. I will be back before you know it.” He said, but smiled, he put his arm around her and pulled her closer.

“You are not eating Saya? That is not like you.” Mao said after everyone had a plate in front of them, laughing as if she said something funny.

“Um, I am just not hungry this early in the morning. I will eat it in a little bit.” Saya said as she put her head on the table.

Haji took his hand and pressed it to Saya’s forehead and then took it away. He did not say anything after that.

No one said anything else either, they just continued eating.

Kai was getting upset. When did Saya not have an appetite for something. How could anyone not be worried about this.

“Alright, Lets head out.” David announced.

“I’ll see you soon, ok?” Saya told Haji. She stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek. Her face heating up in the process.

Why in the hell was Kai watching this? He quickly turned his head. Although he wished Saya was saying goodbye to him and was waiting for it, she had already turned around and went back upstairs.

He sighed.

“Alright Kai… Please be safe and I will miss you so much.” Mao said with tears in her eyes.

“Oh, come on Mao. I will only be gone for a few days. Then you and I can spend some much-needed time together doing whatever it is you want.” Kai told her.

Mao nodded and Kai walked over to the rest of the group, and they headed out.

Everyone got in the van and David went over what was supposed to be going down once they got to their destination.

But Kai could not help but wonder what was going on with Saya. She was always hungry. Something could be wrong with her, and her stupid chevalier did nothing.

Kai was just worried about Saya because that was his sister, they were family for so long so of course he would be worried.

The mission that they were assigned was just a stake out, someone is trying to bring chiropterans back.

The four of them were just sitting in a van in a dark alley just watching.

They had been sitting for hours.

“Alright, we are going to get out and walk around. Kai, you are going to pair up with Haji and Lois and I will pair up. Meet back here in thirty minutes.” David called out.

The group split up and they started walking.

After about ten minutes of just silence, Kai had to bring up what happened this morning.

“So, what is going on with Saya this morning? It is not like her to not eat anything.” Kai asked, he was met with silence.

So, he tried again.

“Do you think Julia knows what’s going on?” Kai asked. Once again met with silence. Haji just kept walking.

Kai scoffed.

“What is your problem? Are you not concerned about Saya? What man!? You spent more than half of her life with he and you are acting as if everything is ok.” Kai yelled getting fed up with the way Haji was acting right now.

Haji stopped walking and turned towards Kai.

“I have served Saya for longer than your ancestors have been on this planet. Mind your business.” Haji said and walked off back towards the van.

Once they got back to the Van, David and Lois were already there waiting for them.

“Did either of you see anything?” Lois asked.

Haji shook his head no.

“Alright. Let us head back. It will be awhile before we get back to the house.” Lois said.

“Kai, when we get back. Come to my office. We need to have a talk.” David said.

Kai felt as though he could hit something right now.

Just then his phone rang.

“Hello?” David did not say anything.

“Alright, we’ll be there as quick as we can.” David said on the phone before hanging up.

“We need to hurry back. Now.” David said.

Chapter 2

Today is the day.

The day that we move and I am so ecstatic about it.

Can you tell that was said with heavy sarcasm.

Kai didn’t want to move, but unfortunately he am a member of the red shield and now had no say so in his life.

“Alright, that should be the last of it. Lets in the cars and get ready to go.” David called out.

David, Julia and Lewis got in one car, Mao, Okamura, Saya, Haji and I got in the other. This one was more of a van and it had a lot of seats. Mao of course wanted the front seat so that left Saya, Kai and Haji to the rest. Haji sat in the third row. Saya and Kai sat in the second.

Saya recently hasn’t been sleeping as much. Julia says that’s a great thing. While Kai am happy for her, He couldn’t help but be a bit at the shadow that follows her everywhere.

Haji may have known Saya longer than Kai did. But that didn’t mean he was any less of family. He could take care of Saya.

Kai was so lost in his thoughts he didn’t hear Saya call out his name.

“Kai!” Saya shouted to get his attention.

He jumped a bit at the volume of her voice, he looked over at her and she giggled. Kai thought she had such a pretty smile, he was hoping it would stay, he wanted Saya to be happy always.

“Sorry about that Saya, I was deep in thought. Whats up?” He asked.

“That’s ok, I was asking if you wanted any snacks?” Saya asked as she held out a bag full of them. Kai chuckled.

“I’m glad to see that your appetite hasn’t changed.” Kai commented.

Saya looked down for a second before looking back up at him.

“Yeah, slowly but surely coming back.” She muttered. Still holding the bag out for Kai.

Kai gave her a small smile and grabbed something from the top.

He couldn’t help but throw a sly smirk behind him at Haji, for whatever reason.

Kai was on cloud nine right now, he had Saya sitting next to him and he was sharing snacks with her right now.

However that was short lived when they reached their destination.

Looking out the window, the place in front of them seemed to be a lot bigger than their old place. Well it had to be since there were so many people staying here.

“Alright everyone, go inside and pick your rooms. Once you are settled we will be having a red shield meeting.” David said.

“Want to go inside and pick our rooms? Its like were children all over again.” Kai asked Saya, he just wanted to spend a little more time with her. And how awesome would it be to have a room next to hers. He could come visit her whenever he wanted to. (Of course when Haji wasn’t around.)

“Sure! It sounds like fun!” Saya said and Kai took her hand and sped off towards the door. Haji didn’t give them a second glance as he was helping everyone unload the big stuff.

Kai and Saya ran towards the house. Once they entered, the foyer was plain. Nothing too special. It seemed as though there were some bedrooms on the first floor but then there were some on the second and third.

“Which floor should we take?” Kai asked. Saya thought for a bit. She would love a bedroom on the thirs floor to look outside on the balcony. That’s if there are any.

They were still standing there, when everyone else came in.

“Did you decide which rooms you want?” Julia asked.

“Um, are there any balconys upstairs?” Saya asked. Julia pondered for a bit.

Everyone already knew that Haji would be sharing a room with Saya, although he doesn’t sleep, he checks up on her. No one minded, they were used to him being with her everywhere she went.

Although it has gotten better. Haji seems to be doing his own thing.

“Yes, all of the rooms on the second and third floor have some. Go pick one.” David said. Kai practically dragged Saya upstairs.

Just as Saya was going to ask Haji if it was ok she picked one on that floor.

“Yes, all of the rooms on the second and third floor have some. Go pick one.” David said. Kai practically dragged Saya upstairs.

Saya was excited to be spending some time with Kai, since she hasn’t been feeling well its been hard.

“Ok! Which one do you want?” Kai asked.

The two of them stood in front of them.

“Hm, I think I want the one in the middle.” Saya commented. Kai nodded.

“Then I will take the one on the left.” Kai stated.

“And if you need anything. I’m right next door.” He added.

“Ok, well I think I’ll help and bring some things upstairs.” Saya said, she let go of kai’s hand and left him standing there.

He was happy, happier than he has been these past few days.

Saya was next door to him. He could come and visit her whenever he wanted. Maybe he could get her to hang out with him.

“Hey kai! It’d be nice if you came out and helped us! Theres a lot of stuff!” Mao yelled from down the stairs.

“Alright! I heard you no need to yell!” He grunted out.

It took the group about an hour and a half to get everything settled and into everyone’s respected room.

Saya, Kai and Mao were lounging on one of the couches that were delivered.

“What do you think we should have for dinner? There’s no way am I cooking.” Mao said.

“Good, we don’t need anyone getting sick.” Kai joked. Mao hit him with the pillow.

Saya wasn’t up for joking at the moment, she was getting a little sleepy ontop of moving stuff around. She kind of wanted to take a shower and get into something comfortable.

“I ordered some pizza’s. We’ll eat then head to our rooms for the night, we have a meeting and I need you all to well rested for it.” David said, walking into the room. Julia was right behind him.

“Saya, after you eat. Why don’t you come see me in the lab. I’ll show you around.” Julia commented.

“Sounds good. Um, have you seen Haji anywhere?” Saya asked.

“Uh, I believe he’s in the backyard getting somethins ready to be planted.” Julia told her. Saya nodded and was about to stand up but Kai stopped her.

“Is there anything I can to help you Saya? Since Haji is busy I’m sure he’ll want to space.” Kai said.

Saya looked at him for a bit before saying anything.

“That’s ok, I just wanted to get some fresh air.” Saya said softly.

“Well, why don’t I go with you?” Kai asked. Saya gave a tight smile.

She just wanted to spend some time with Haji, he always made her feel better. Something wasn’t right within her and her body was telling her to go to him.

“Kai, I’m going to need some help getting the pizza’s, come with me.” Lewis said.

When Kai’s back was turned. She quickly snuck away and out the front door.

Once she was out the door she took a deep breath.

She would have accepted Kai coming outside with her, but right now she wanted to be left alone with her Chevalier.

She wandered around the side of the house, before going to the backyard.

“Haji?” She called out. He emerged holding a small shovel with an apron on. He was also wearing casual clothes. He must have changed.

Saya couldn’t help but laugh.

Haji stood there staring at her, wondering what she thought was so funny.

“I like your outfit Haji.” Saya said as she walked closer to him.

“I didn’t want to get my other clothes dirty, so I changed.” He explained.

“I see, I can’t wait to see when youre finished. Will you teach me about all of your plants and flowers?” Saya asked. Looking up at him.

Haji’s cheeks turned a little pink.

“Of course, if that is something you wish.” He replied. Saya gave him a smile.

“Would you mind if I stayed out here with you for a little bit?” She asked. He shook his head.

“I feel something is wrong, I felt as though I just needed to be around you. I’m starting to feel a little better.” Saya said, putting a hand on her forehead.

“Should I go and get Julia?” Haji asked, his voice hinted a little worry. Saya shook her head.

“No, no need to get her involved. If the feeling gets any worse then you can. I think I just want to lay down under the sun. It feels quite nice right now.” Saya softly spoke as she turned her face towards the sun.

“I will go get you a blanket and a pillow.” Haji said before putting down his tools. He went into the house to retrieve said things.

Kai and Lewis left to go get the pizza’s and he couldn’t stop thinking about Saya. He wanted to be near her at all times.

Could it be because Riku and his dad weren’t there anymore? Who knows.

“So, Kai. How are you and Mao doing? You guys have been together for how long?” Lewis asked.

“Uhh, I think it’s been two years. Were doing ok I guess. She’s been busy and I’ve been busy.” Kai commented. Kai was sure he needed to get Mao something for their anniversary.

Meanwhile, Haji grabbed a blanket for Saya and a pillow. She was laying halfway under a shady tree and half way in the sun.

Saya felt calm, she felt peace. Everything felt right in this moment. She could feel Haji was close by. Maybe she could rest for just a little bit and then go and see Julia.

“Haji, I’m going to rest for a little bit. Can you wake me up when dinner is here?” Saya called out. She didn’t need to open her eyes to know that Haji nodded his head.

So that’s what she did. Saya relaxed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Haji took a break and looked over at Saya. She was sleeping. He decided to go and sit next to her.

Haji wasn’t sure he would ever admit this to Saya, but her presence calms him.

Haji took a deep breath before standing up, an going back to his garden. He couldn’t believe that Saya wanted to learn more about it. He would be honored to do just that.

A little time has passed and Lewis and Kai came back with the pizzas.

They took them inside.

“Finally! Jeez, did you have to make the pizzas too?” Mao complained, going into the kitchen to grab some plates.

“Yeah, Yeah whatever. Just be lucky that we even came back.” Kai joked back to her.

“Kai, I want to talk to you about some things.” David said and walked out of the room, with Kai following him.

“What did you want to talk about?” Kai asked, uninterested.

“This meeting that we are holding tomorrow. You, Haji, Lewis and I are going to be on a mission for a few days. I just wanted to let you know, so you’re not bombarded by it when it comes up.” David explained and walked away from Kai.

Kai wanted to curse, he didn’t want to be stuck with the lot of them. But, he’s been with red shield for some time now. Maybe he would rank up if he did a good job.

That thought alone made him a little happier. He went back out to the large dining room to grab a slice of pizza or two.

When he came back, Saya was already sitting down. Haji was sitting next to her, have a conversation with Julia for some odd reason. Kai has never seen or heard the man speak more than two words.

Kai shrugged his shoulders grabbed a few slices and sat next to Mao. Maybe it was time he acted like a good boyfriend.

Kai wasn’t sure if he was ready for tomorrow.

Chapter 1

“I don’t like this one bit!” Kai exclaimed, slamming his fists on the table. David sat there unfazed. Lewis was sitting across from David munching on some chips and Julia to David’s right.

“Kai, for the last time. You have no say so in this decision. It’s up to Joel and the red shield. They tell us what to do and we follow. We plan on moving at the end of the week whether you are with us or not.” David explained once again. Not understanding what Kai wasn’t getting.

“That’s not my issue and you know it! My problem is with Saya sharing a room grown man. How is that appropriate!” Kai thundered. Julia was the one to speak up.

“Saya and Diva are over five hundred years old. Haji is her chevalier. He has been by her side for many years. Their relationship and what they do. Is none of our business. Saya woke up early and we’re trying to figure out why. She isn’t back to her normal self. She needs rest.” Julia said.

“So that means stay away from her for now. She does not need you bothering her.” David grunted. He said it in a tone that what he said was final and there would be no more talk about it.

Kai scoffed and stormed off. He re-routed his way to his room so he would pass by Saya’s room. The door was open and Saya was sleeping on the bed. Haji was no where to be found. He contemplated going in there, but he definitely didn’t want to get scolded by David. Didn’t want to hear his voice. So, he walked away and went to his room.

Once kai got to his room, he threw open the door and slammed it. He threw himself on the bed and just laid there. Everything that was happening was bogus. He wasn’t comfortable with Saya sharing a room with Haji. No matter how long they’ve been together.

He was caught up in thoughts that he didn’t hear a knock at the door.

“Kai? Are you in there?” A vice called out on the other side of the door.

It was then Kai heard it. The voice belonged to Mao. The last person he wanted to deal with.

He stayed quiet, maybe she would go away. Of course, she didn’t and then the door opened and shut.

“I knew you were in here, what the hell are you doing just laying around?” Mao sneered. Kai rolled his eyes and sat up facing her.

“What do you want Mao?” Kai asked in a bored tone.

“Lewis gave me a shopping list and I want you to come with me to hold the bags.” Mao demanded; it wasn’t a question. She was telling him what to do.

He sat there and thought for a second before he gave her an answer. Maybe it would do him some good to get out of the house. Clear his mind and such.

“Alright, lets go.” Kai said. Standing up walking towards the door. Once again he walked past Saya’s room. She was still in bed sleeping. Still no sign of Haji.

Where the hell is he? Shouldn’t he be by her side all the time? What if something were to happen to her?

He shook those angry thoughts out of his mind.

“What’s on the list?” Kai asked, taking it from Mao’s hand.

It was ingredients for some kind of soup. He handed it back.

“Let’s hurry and get this over with.” Kai huffed out.

Saya tried her hardest to wake up, to open her eyes. But she was just so tired, her body felt heavy. Although she was awake just early this morning with Julia in the make-shift office of hers until they move later in the week. She could sense someone around her. She was sure it was Haji. At times she would feel a hand caress her forehead, or her hair being moved from her eyes.

She wished with everything she had to look at him. To be awake when he did these things.

Saya and Haji expressed their feelings for one another and even shared a kiss. She wanted to talk about their feelings some more, to know what Haji wanted, not what she wanted him to do.

Soon she was slipping back into that inky darkness.

She was just so tired…

Haji had just come back after going out and getting a single rose for Saya. He had a little garden, nothing too big, just a few flowers and such. He needed to do something to keep him occupied.

After the theater and Saya went to sleep, he changed. He worked on being a little more assertive and expressive. Although when it comes to his queen, he was afraid she wouldn’t like him that way. So, he waited on her hand and foot. But how he would love to show her what he had been doing.

Would she like it? A thought that came to his mind numerous times a day.

Haji knew that they were moving to a bigger place soon so he had been repotting everything he could to take with them. He had already packed most of his and Saya’s belongings so it was easier when the day would come.

When he walked into the room he and Saya shared, he seen she was still sleeping, well he could sense it as long as he was close enough to her. He placed the rose on the table inside of a little vase.

He walked over to Saya and moved her hair. It had grown so long in the past few years.

It was unexplainable as to why Saya had woken up as early as she did. Julia was watching over Saya and doing tests. Nothing abnormal about what she’s found so far. But Saya did still get blood transfusions as she didn’t want to take any blood from Haji.

She said it was something they needed to talk about, she often blushed when Julia would bring it up. Julia laughed every time. Haji sat in the chair across from the bed, watching her. He still didn’t need to sleep, it wasn’t often he did this. He would leave in the middle of the night and just wander around to pass the time until the early morning in case Saya woke up. He was elated to have his queen back.

Mao and Kai came back from the store after being gone for some time. They brought everything in and went straight to the kitchen. Lewis was already in the kitchen setting everything up.

“OH! Thank goodness you’re back. You two can help me cook. Let’s go.” Lewis said. Mao was excited and Kai groaned. He just wanted to lay in his bed until dinner time.

Kai actually enjoyed cooking, not that he would tell anyone. But dinner was done. It was creamy chicken soup with vegetables and rolls. They had water and some kind of juice and wine of course. Everything was set up on the table.

“Alright! Let’s sit and eat!” Lewis announced. David, Julia, Kai, Mao, and Akihiro came out of whatever shadow he slithered from.

“Wow, it looks so good Lewis!” Mao exclaimed. Everyone started eating and making conversation between themselves.

Saya was coming again. She was able to move her hand then her arm, she rubbed her eyes trying to adjust to the light coming from the corner of the room. Suddenly it was turned off.

She let a sigh of relief out and tried to sit up. She felt as though her was full of lead, how long was she asleep for? She wondered.

Haji was right by her side helping her sit up.

“Thank you, Haji.” Saya said softly. He nodded his head.

“Where is everyone?” Saya asked. Haji looked towards the door.

“They seem to be all downstairs. Would you care to join them?” Haji asked. Saya smiled and nodded. Haji helped her out of bed and decided to give Saya some privacy to get changed.

Saya was feeling ok, she still felt a little tired, but she was done sleeping. She wanted to interact with everyone and get her life back to the way it was. She then started to think about her dad… and Riku… and even Diva. Oh, how things could have been different.

She shook those thoughts. She knew that both her dad and Riku would have wanted her to be happy.

So Saya opened her closet and looked through some clothes that Mao had got her. Some of them weren’t her style but she would try, nonetheless.

She grabbed a crème-colored sweater dress with matching thigh high socks with some slippers. When she was done, she opened the door and called haji in.

Would you mind helping me with my hair?” She asked. Haji often did this back in the day.

“Anything for you.” Haji said.

Saya looked through all the accessories that Mao insisted Saya purchase. Saya tried to tell her no, but Mao wasn’t taking that for an answer.

Saya found a crème colored ribbon and handed it to Haji. He tied it perfectly and made a little bow at the top.

“Wow… It looks so good. Thank you, Haji.” Saya beamed. Haji gave a small smile. He held out his hand so he could help her downstairs. Saya took it gracefully.

Everyone was laughing and joking and talking about random things. Many things, the new place came up a few times.

Then everyone stopped when Saya and Haji entered the dining room. They just stared at her.

“Um… Hello.” Saya said after a bit of silence.

Julia was the first one to say something.

“It’s good to see you up and walking around. How are you feeling?” She asked.

Haji pulled out a chair for Saya and sat in the one next to her.

“I feel a little tired, but I feel good. I don’t want to sleep anymore right now. I feel good.” Saya explained.

“Wow Saya! You look amazing. I’m so glad you agreed to let me go shopping with you.” Mao commented.

“Yes, thank you.” Saya said. Just then a bowl was set in front of her. She looked up and it was Lewis. She gave him a smile and thanked him before digging in.

Saya thought the soup tasted so good. Nice and warm and just what she needed.

She finished her bowl and helped herself to another one. Meanwhile Haji got up and poured her a small glass of wine and a glass of water.

The whole time Haji was waiting on Saya, Kai couldn’t help but look away. He was blatantly staring at Saya not trying to hide it in the slightest. David seemed to be the only one who noticed. He cleared his throat and Kai looked at him before he went back to eating.

He didn’t care what David thought.

“Saya, if you’re feeling up to it, would you mind coming to see me when you’re done eating?” Julia asked.

Saya replied with a mouth full of soup.

“Yes, I’m feeling ok.” Saya replied with a mouth full of soup.

“Good.” She said before going back to her food.

Saya finished her wine. She only drank it because Julia insisted. But she hated the taste of it, so she always drank a whole glass of water.

She wanted another bowl but her stomach was full already. She couldn’t eat like she used to anymore, maybe her apatite would change as time went on.

Kai quietly finished his dinner before excusing himself from the table and went straight to his room. He was so done and wanted this week to be over so they could be at the new place.

Saya watched as Kai walked away but didn’t think much of it. When everyone was done, Saya decided she wanted to move around a little bit before having to lie down. She helped Lewis clear the table and wash the dishes.

When she was done, she went to the little space that was Julia’s office and knocked on the door.

“Come in.” Julia announced.

Saya walked in and sat down at the table.

“Is Haji not joining this time?” Julia asked and she started to prep the transfusion for Saya.

“No, he said he had something to show me and was going to set it up. So, it’s just me.” Saya explained.

“Ahh, I see. So how are you two getting along?” Julia asked, as she poked Saya with the needle and the transfusion started. Saya’s face suddenly felt hot. She was blushing.

“Um… I think we’re doing ok. We didn’t have much time to talk anymore, but he did my hair. I liked that. It was something he did a long time ago.” Saya explained. Julia smiled and nodded.

The two of them talked some more until Saya was finished. She was unhooked and Julia did a quick check up and she sent Saya on her way.

Julia wasn’t exactly sure what it was she was looking for; everything had been normal. Maybe she would find something soon.

Haji was excited to show Saya the garden he had made of his own. He was hoping she would like it. He wasn’t sure what he would do if she didn’t.

Haji heard the door open and close, and he knew it was his queen.

“Haji?” Saya called out. He moved a little so she could see him. Saya gave him a smile and walked over to him.

“What was it you wanted to show me? She asked when she was close enough. Haji was a little nervous to show Saya. She made him nervous quite a bit lately.

“I made this garden.” Haji said, straight to the point. There was no beating around the bush when it came to Haji. He was so straightforward, but that was one of the many things she loved about him.

Saya peaked around him and seen a few plants in big boxes and then she saw the roses. They were beautiful.

“You planted all of these?” Saya asked. Haji nodded.

“They’re beautiful! You made all of this? That’s amazing Haji.” Saya complimented.

“I wonder if next time you need help, if you wouldn’t mind that I join you?” Saya asked.

Haji was too stunned to speak, all he could do was nod his head. He would love to teach Saya all about his garden. Maybe she could find a flower and she could take care of it. He wondered if she would like that.

“Thank you for showing me this Haji, it makes me happy that you found something to occupy your time, while I’ve been sleeping. Thank you for taking good care of me.” Saya added that last little bit. Haji nodded.

Saya looked up at the sky and it was clear.

“Would you like to look at the stars with me?” Saya asked. Haji gave a small smile and walked over to Saya holding her by the waist before jumping in the air to the roof, where the two of them sat comfortably and looked at the stars.

The two of them stayed out there until Saya fell asleep with her head on Haji’s shoulder.

He carefully picked her up and jumped down, going back inside to the bedroom.

Kai was fuming, his whole body was shaking and he couldn’t explain why. He walked out of his bedroom; he needed some fresh air.

When he walked out. He saw Haji carrying a sleeping Saya to what he knew was their bedroom. He didn’t even look at them as he stormed down the stairs and out the door.

He needed to stay out for a while. If he stayed in that house any longer, he was going to explode.

Chapter 6

It became a regular thing for Kirishima to go over to Hikari’s family’s house and have dinner.

Often than not, when Kirishima would show up. Her parents were not there.

He may or may not have done that on purpose…

He may have found out where it was that Hikari’s parents worked and paid their bosses to give them promotions but also a heavier workload. So that he could spend time and get to know Hikari on a more personal level.

Did Hikari’s parents know that she was spending time together with him alone?

Absolutely they did.

Kirishima finished his daily patrol and knew on this night; Hikari was home alone.

He and Hikari have been getting closer, they exchanged social media. She was already following most of his public ones, but he allowed her to follow his private ones as well.

Kirishima knocked on the door.

He made a mental note to try and produce a way to get a key.

He heard Hikari’s voice through the door.

She opened it.

“Mr. Eijirou. Coming by again?” Hikari asked, laughing.

“You know me, I cannot stay away. You are just too beautiful.” He commented. He gave her compliments all the time.

Hikari moved out of the way so he could come through.

“Did you want to have some dinner? I made curry.” Hikari said.

Kirishima smiled.

He could not wait to have her himself and come home every night to her cooking.

“Yes, that sounds great.” Kirishima said.

The two of them enjoyed dinner, talking about everything they could think of.

“So, tell me. You are sixteen, right? Do you have a boyfriend?” Kirishima asked, he had to. He knew from what Denki told him, that Hikari was a popular girl and got a lot of confessions and love letters.

“Um, no I do not. I do not think I am pretty enough.” Hikari said, while cleaning up the table.

“You must be kidding me. You are so beautiful; you are smart, and you can cook and bake. What boy would not be interested in you.” Kirishima spouted out. He was glad she did not have a boyfriend. He was not above murder but killing someone was too much work.

Hikari lets out a laugh.

“I mean, I guess. There are so many prettier girls than me in our school. They all have boyfriends, and they talk about making out and kissing their boyfriends all the time and then there is me who has never been in a relationship or let a one kissed a boy before. I am pathetic… Scared I will get made fun of because it has been so long.” Hikari explained.

Kirishima could not help the grin that appeared on his face, good thing her back was turned.

“Would you believe me if I told you I’ve never had my first kiss either?” Kirishima asked, lying straight through his teeth.

“Theres no way… Is that true?” Hikari asked, whipping around to face him. She did not believe it.

“Its true, I wanted to wait for the right person to share that magical moment with and she just never came along.” Kirishima explained, forcing his expressions to match what it was he as saying.

It was silent between the two of them.

“Would it really be alright…” Hikari asked quietly fidgeting a little bit.

She was nervous.

“Of course, only if you really want to though. I do not want to force you to do anything you do not want to do. You know consent is important.” Kirishima explained standing up in front of Hikari.

“All you have to say is no, and I will back off and we don’t ever have to speak of this again.” Kirishima whispered.

Kirishima could feel her heart beating out of her chest, but he knew she wanted this.

“Yes… Please…” Hikari spoke.

Kirishima bent down slightly to meet her lips.

They were soft, he wanted more but did not want to scare her off.

Hikari was in a daze.

“Are you ok? I hope I did not hurt you.” Kirishima asked.

“I am ok… That was amazing…” She said touching her lips.

“Can we practice some more some other time?” Hikari asked.

“Yes, we can.” Kirishima smiled and said.

The two hung out for the rest of the evening, and up to Hikari’s parents coming home, the parents thanked Kirishima for coming over often to be with their daughter.

Kirishima and Hikari started texting way into the late evening and a little bit into the early morning. Talking about what kind of person Hikari liked and what not. Kirishima doing the same thing as well.

This was too easy.

Chapter 5

“Wait… Mom are you serious!?” Hikari asked her mother for the sixth time since she came home from school.

Her mother rushed her upstairs to start getting ready for dinner as they were having a special guest over.

It was not until Hikari was already dressed and down the stairs helping her mom set the table did her mother finally told her that the important guest that was coming over was the one, the only.

Eijirou Kirishima AKA Red Riot AKA the number three pro hero.

Then Hikari finds out that both of her parents went to high school with him.

Hikari felt dizzy.

This was insane.

How could her parents just not tell her something that was so important.

Hikari helped her mother finish dinner and was helping set the table when the doorbell rang.

“Hikari dear, can you answer it?” Her dad called out from the living room.

He was setting up some of the things he wanted to show off to Mr. Eijirou.

Hikari smoothed out the skirt she was wearing and wen to open the door.

She was so nervous.

Its not everyday that you have dinner with a pro hero…

Hikari opened the door, and she blinked a few times.

“Umm… Um… Good E-Evening… Mr. Eijirou.” Hikari stuttered out.

This was the moment when she wished the ground would just open and swallow her whole.

She embarrassed herself.

“Come in please…” She managed to get out in one whole sentence.

“Good evening. Thank you.” Kirishima said. He held out his hand and Hikari shook it.

“I am Hikari. Nice to officially meet you. Come this way.” She said and led him to the living room.

“Eijirou, so nice to see you again man.” Her dad said and the two exchanged a hug.

The whole family sat down and talked about the past, what they got up to in high school.

Kirishima is significantly younger than Hikari’s parents, he was very smart, advanced, and graduated quickly.

“Oh my! Where are our manners. This is our daughter Hikari. We heard you went to her class today.” Hikari’s father Kenji said.

Kirishima smiled and nodded.

“Yeah, I did. You have a lovely name Hikari.” Kirishima said, kissing her hand.

Hikari’s face heated up.

“So, tell me how are your classes going? If you need any help with anything, let me know.” He pulled his phone out.

Then looked at her parents.

“Is it all right if I give her my number? I am not usually in the office so if she needs help, I can be quick about it.” He explained.

“Of course! I would love for you two to get along. You are my best friend. Please feel free to stop by at any time.” Kenji said.

Kirishima smiled and he ad Hikari exchanged numbers.

“Alright! Lets eat!” Saki announced.

“Kenji told us all about your favorite food and Hikari here made dessert. She loves to bake.” Kenji said.

Hikari’s face heated up once again, she was sure it was going to permanently stay red from the amount of times she had been blushing tonight.

What is more is that she got Kirishima’s number. How amazing is that? Then she thought about it, it could be a professional phone. She read that most pro heroes had two cell phones.

The four of them dug in, talked, joked, and ate dessert, which Kirishima had seconds and thirds of and demanded in a joking kind of way that he needed to take some with him to have his friends try it. He kept saying how good it was.

Hikari felt proud. Baking was something she thoroughly enjoyed and was always trying out new recipes.

The night went on without a hitch and then it was time to go.

They all said their goo byes and Kirishima was on his way.

“I think that went extremely well.” Kenji said. Saki agreed and the two of them talked about it.

Hikari excused herself to her room, to one fangirl about how she got Kirishima’s number, how he was her dad’s best friend, how he said he would help her with her studies and how he came over for dinner.

By far one of the best nights, she has had in such a long time.

Chapter 4

Mina and Sero wanted to ask which student was so bad; they could barely control themselves.

The three of them answered questions and when it was over was escorted to an empty classroom to wait for their ride to pick them up.

“Soooooo…. Mr. Red Riot. Which one of those beautiful young girls captured your heart?” Sero asked.

Kirishima smiled at him.

“She was sitting up front with the long black hair that was in a pony with a white bow.” He said, just thinking about her made his heart race. She was the one for him.

Mina and Sero had to think.

“Oh! The one that was sitting right up front. Oh! Kiri! She was adorable! I think she will be perfect for you.” Mina said. Sero agreed.

Kirishima honestly did not care if his friends did not approve of his soon to be relationship.

But he was glad that they did, just made things easier.

Sero pulled out his phone.

“Seems like our ride is here, lets go.” He announced. Kirishima and Mina nodded and walked out the door. Just then Kirishima felt someone crash into him. He looked down and it was his angel.

“Oh, my goodness! I am so sorry! I did not mean to run into you.” She apologized. Kirishima gave her a smile and shook his head.

“That is ok, I should watch where I am going. Are you ok?” He asks. Hikari’s face was beet red, and she could not speak but she nodded her head.

“Alright that’s good, say I have to go but maybe we’ll see each other again.” He said before walking away.

Kirishima could not believe it; his little angel ran into him. He felt her warmth if only for a second.

Mina, Sero and Kirishima got in the car and drove away.

Today was going to be an easy day. Just patrolling.

Kirishima was about done with his rounds; it was close to five o’clock and he was not too sure what it was that he had done all day. His head was filled with just her.

He then got a call just as he was heading back towards his office.

“Hello?” Kirishima answered.

“Good, Evening Eijirou. I was wondering if you were not busy. If you would like to come over for dinner?” Kenji stated.

How lucky was Kirishima? He must see his angel three times now. This time a bit up close and personal?

“Wow, you just caught me as I was about to end my patrol. Can you give me like forty-five minutes, and I will be there? Send me your address.” Kirishima said.

“Of course! Please take your time, we will be waiting for you.” Kenji said before ending the phone call.

Kirishima felt like a young boy in high school. He was giddy.

He needed to stop and control himself.

He needed to be incredibly careful with how he did this.

The first step in his plan was to win over the parents.

He’s already got Kenji in the bag, but Kenji was such a people pleaser that he was sure his wife controlled everything.

Kirishima felt pure rage over that fact, he was not going to let some women keep him from what he wanted.

But then again maybe not. She was relaxed and would fall head over heels for Kirishima.

Only time would tell.

Chapter 3

“Alright class, so I am sure that we have all heard that we will have some pro heroes join our class today. So, I want you all to be on your best behavior.” The teacher droned on.

No one was listening. Everyone was far too excited to meet the pro heroes that would be coming today. Some new who was it was that was coming for a visit while others did not.

Hikari and her friend Akira were in the first row.

Right smack dab in the middle.

Hikari was beyond excited. She loved watching their interviews on TV and she has a lot of their merch.

Her heart was beating so fast, she was sure it would pop out of her chest in a minute.

Everyone was saying aloud that it was hard for the teacher to control the class until there was a knock at the door.

The room fell silent. The door opened and in came three of the top five heroes.

Hikari almost passed out.

She could not believe that she was in the room with them, she was breathing that same air as they were.

Now she was sounding like a crazy fan girl.

Standing in front of the class, were pro heroes, Pinky, Red Riot and Cellophane.

“Good morning, everyone! Its great to see you all here, I can totally see some future heroes and sidekicks I the audience!” Red Riot spoke.

All the girls squealed. Hikari being one of them.

Hikari was quirkless but she did not let that bother her at all.

Pinky had a chance to talk and answer any questions the students had and then Cellophane and then lastly Red riot.

Once it was over the teacher was once again standing in front of the class.

“Alright students, we are about to break for lunch. There is an opportunity for all of you to get a complimentary bag filled with exclusive merchandise that has yet to be released to the public yet. Lets all say thank you to out wonderful heroes who keep us safe.” The teacher announced.

The room erupted into applause and thanks.

Once the heroes left the room, everyone practically trampled on each other to get out of the room to get their bag.

Hikari and Akari were waiting for the commotion o die down before even attempting to leave the room.

“Wow… Now I am glad that you decided to wait, we could have died. Can you imagine? That is how I go?” Akira joked. Hikari giggled.

“Definitely not the way I want to go.” Hikari said, and the two of them decided to get some lunch before making their way to get a bag themselves.

On the way down Akira and Hikari just talked about who they just saw as though it was dream, Hikari then went on to say she needed more cellophane merch because she did not have much and she thought he was so cool. Although Red riot was the one that stood out to her the most.

It was because her face was practically pressed into his chest… Well not literally but metaphorically, his hero costume had his chest bare.

Hikari would never admit it, but she could have sworn she started drooling.

Chapter 2

Kirishima could be viewed as someone who was a pervert, of the worst kind.

He did not hide the fact he liked teenage girls. He often said in his interviews he would like a young wife.

The reporters laughed and made comments on it about how girls should take notes.

Kirishima protected the city from villains, everyone he came across idolized him.

He was a god at this point.

He could do whatever he liked, and he did.

He would often send his assistant out after fan meets to get the girls Kirishima thought were attractive enough to fuck in his dressing room.

After he was through with them, he threatened a few of them to keep quiet when he told them he just used their bodies to get off.

Would he get in trouble for having sex with a minor? Probably not but he did not want to have to deal with all the paperwork and reporters that would come his way.

Kirishima was sitting in his office when he got a text from an unsaved number.

He opened his phone, and it was from his high school best friend Kenji. He was congratulating him on getting in the top five hero ranking.

Kirishima smiled; it would be nice to catch up with old friends. So, Kirishima texted Kenji back and forth.

They agreed to have Kirishima come over for dinner in a few days to catch up.

Free food, who could deny that.

Kirishima greed and they ended the conversation there.

Kirishima put his phone down and kept on working on the paperwork in front of him until he was finished.

He got up and walked out of his office down the elevator towards the lobby. He passed the receptionist.

“See you tomorrow Mr. Elijio.” She called out. He waved at her.

He needed a shower and some food. He would order take out. He was feeling lazy.

Kirishima got in his car and got home quickly. He walked up the steps to his apartment that housed other heroes, but you did not see many of the others veery often.

Kirishima quickly stripped all his clothing right at the front door. His apartment was on the highest floor, he was sure he was the only one that occupied a place up here.

It was so high up you could not see anything.   

After a hot shower he draped a towel around himself and flopped himself on the couch before pulling his phone out to find something to eat. He ordered some beer while he was at it.

Kirishima did not usually drink but he did when he had a rough day and today was a rough day.

Not too many villains, just some low-level ones but he had a lot of paperwork to do. With charities wanting donations and special appearances.

He despised it.

Kirishima took a deep breath and turned the TV on before getting up to put some sweatpants on before his food came.

Chapter 1

“Oh, wow! Can you believe it? The pro hero’s Red Riot, Pinky and Cellophane are going to be here to talk to our class?” Hikari’s friend Akira said excitedly.

Hikari smiled, she was a fan of the hero’s, she didn’t have a particular one she liked better than the other one. She had several authentic merchandise and clothing.

“Of course I’m excited. I wonder why they picked out class to come to out of all of them.” Hikari wondered.

“Who cares?” Akira said laughing a bit.

“Yeah, you’re right. I also heard that there’s going to be a table with some unreleased merch at the end of lunch. We should finish eating early so we’re the first ones there.” Akira said.

Hikari wasn’t so sure. As she’s stated before she liked the heroes but wasn’t the typer to go out and get every single thing they released. She usually went out and got the clothing with their hero names on it and such.

“Eh, I probably won’t buy anything. Maybe if they have clothes. But my room would be filled with so much stuff if I collected everything that the hero’s released. Plus, my wallet and bank account would hate me.” Hikari explained.

“You’re right. Lets hurry and get to class so we can get front row seats!” Akira said and the girls ran down the hallway giggling along the way.

Meanwhile at Red Riot Headquarters, Kirishima, Mina and Sero were getting read yin their hero outfits to go to school.

“So... Kirishima, who’s the lucky girl you have our sights set on?” Mina asked. She knew Kirishima very well. She knew he liked them young but never stuck with any of them.

“I’ll show you when we get to her class. I know her father which makes it even better.” He said.

Kirishima wasn’t afraid to admit he liked young girls. Not too young, just sixteen years old.

Girls that age were so impressionable and if he found one, he liked enough to further a relationship with and share his life with he would mold her into the perfect wife for him.

“You know her father?” Sero asked.

“Yeah, we went to high school together, him and his now wife got pregnant during their last year of high school and decided to keep her. Although I don’t think she knows who I am. We lost contact for a bit. But we’re talking again. He practically worships the ground I walk on.” Kirishima explained.

“Wow… I’ve never seen you go this hard for a girl before.” Sero said laughing.

“Yeah, yeah whatever. I like this girl alright. I’ve learned a lot about her, had to get some of her files.” Kirishima shrugged.

“Wow Sero. This might be the one for Kirishima.” Mina joked with Sero. The three of them laughed.

Kirishima couldn’t agree more. This girl might be the one.

Chapter 8

Izuku was long gone for his work trip this time.

As soon as Bakugo opened his eyes and actually woke up, he looked at his phone and seen he had a couple of messages from Mina or Pinky as he liked to call her. He jumped out of bed and threw on the first outfit he could find.

He didn’t care whether or not it matched. He needed to make sure Hikari was ok.

By the texts Mina sent to him and he’s sure Izuku, Although Izuku has yet to respond so Katsuki was sure he didn’t see it.

He rushes out the door grabbing his keys on the way. He didn’t care if he paid attention to the laws of driving. He was sure he ran a couple red lights as well.

He got to the university in record time. He rushed in the building bypassing some professors who while he was running past recognized him and didn’t say anything.

He burst in midnight class, zeroing in on Hikari immediately.

“Mr. Bakugo Katsuki. What in the world do you think you’re doing in my classroom?” Professor midnight asked. Katsuki did not say anything. He was still looking at Hikari. All he did was beckon her with his finger and she stood up and slowly came down towards the front.

The two left the classroom.

Midnight just watched the two.

“Alright class we’re going to continue with class. Please re-read the chapter and get with a group of three and talk about it.” She said, going to her desk.

“What was that all about? Who was that guy?” Uraraka asks.

“Its no one.” Mina said. Uraraka looked over at Momo and shrugged her shoulder.

Who was that Hikari going with? She couldn’t get it out of her head. So now she’s cheating on Izuku with two different guys?

Oh! This is so good! Soon Izuku will fall in love with me after I tell him all of this. He will trust me.

Meanwhile in an empty room.

“What’s going on?” Katsuki asked pacing back and forth in front of her.

“Katsuki, you need to stop walking back and forth in front of me or I’m going to be sick again.” Hikari whispered trying not to vomit. She put her head on the desk.

Katsuki walked over and felt her head, she wasn’t warm so no fever.

“I’m going to give you some money for lunch. Make sure you eat. I will be asking Mina. Finish the school day and then come straight home.” Katsuki announced. Hikari picked her head up giving him a confused look.

“What is going on? What do you mean?” She asked.

“You may have a little Katsuki growing inside your belly.” Katsuki said, giving her a kiss on the cheek. He pulled out his wallet and handed her his credit card.

“I will walk you back to class, but when you get to the cafeteria. Take a picture of everything you are eating. I mean a protein, a vegetable, some fruit, and a dairy and get a little treat too. Make sure you eat it all.” Katsuki lectured. Hikari giggled and playfully rolled her eyes.

“Yes alpha.” Hikari said before they abruptly stopped. Katsuki put his hand on her stomach.

“I hope you have me piece of you inside. We are so celebrating if you are.” Katsuki said lowly. Hikari wanted to cry. She wanted this so much. The moment she found out both Katsuki and Izuku were mates she always wanted a family. Of course, two children.

The two walked out and walked back towards Hikari’s class.

“I’ll see you later, make sure you eat and send me a picture.” Katsuki reminded Hikari. She nodded and kissed his cheek.

Hikari opened the door and nodded her head towards Professor Midnight before going up to her seat.

“Hey, what are we doing?” Hikari asked.

“Oh, we were working on some things. I texted you what we needed to do.” Mina said. Hikari nodded.

“Who was that guy?” Uraraka asked. Hikari looked between her and Mina.

“Um, he was just a good friend of mine.” Hikari said.

“Oh, ok. I was wondering if Izuku was going to be the Karaoke party tonight?” Uraraka asked.

Hikari shook her head.

“Um, No. He’s on a work trip right now.” Hikari said. She took her phone out to see about twenty messages from Izuku with about thirty missed calls. And then a couple from Mina.

“Oh, so are you ok if we get together as a group this weekend and work on our project some more?” Uraraka asked.

“Sure, that is fine. Just let me know when you are all coming over. I will have lunch and stuff ready for us.” Hikari said.

The class continued to work on their stuff until the bell rang signaling it was time to move to the next class.

Everyone packed up and left.

The rest of the day went by quickly and it was soon lunch time.

“Ughhhh I am so hungryyyy!” Denki moaned. Neito rolled his eyes.

“Let’s go and get food then you big baby.” He scolded.

“Shinsoooo; Neito is being mean to me.” Denki cried. Shinso smirked and patted his head.

“Come on, lets go.”

Uraraka was talking Hikari’s ear off about something. She could not tell you honestly. Mina went with Kirishima somewhere and Momo went with Shouto.

So she and Uraraka was going to sit with her favorite trio.

Hikari walked the lunch line looking at the food. Nothing was appetizing, she felt sick.

Neito appeared next to her.

“Katsuki texted me, he told me to make sure you ate.” He spoke. Hikari shook her head.

“Can you pick for me? I think I will get sick if I keep looking at this.” Hikari asked. Neito rubbed her back.

“Of course, go sit down and I’ll be right over.” Neito said. Hikari nodded and walked away after giving him Katsuki’s credit card.

Uraraka was the first to sit down so she was waiting.

“Are you not eating anything?” She asked.

“Yeah, um, Neito is grabbing me some food.” Hikari responded. Uraraka nodded.

“When was Izuku going to come back from his work trip.” Uraraka spit out.

“Um, I do not know. It usually varies. Why do you ask?” Hikari asked.

“I don’t know, I was just wondering. He was really nice to me and everyone when we were over last time.” Uraraka hurried and spoke.

"Yeah, he is just a very nice person. He has always been like that.” Hikari said.

Uraraka was going to say something else but the trio came back.

“Here you go sweetheart, I got you a little bit of everything, but also please don’t force yourself to eat. I also grabbed some crackers and a ginger ale.” Neito explained.

“Thank you so much, I’m gonna take a picture and send it to Katsuki and Izuku. I haven’t had a chance to call him back.” Hikari said, quickly snapping a photo.

“Here, read all the messages he sent.” She pushed her phone towards Neito, Denki and Shinso who wasn’t really paying attention. It is not that he did not care, he was just tired as usual.

“Omg, he’s so funny and dramatic.” Neito said. Denki had his mouth stuffed with food. Hikari ate as much as she could, she actually felt a little better after eating.

“Hey, Hikari. I was wondering if I could ask you a question.” Uraraka asked pulling Hikari to the side.

“Um, who is Katsuki? You sent him pictures and he pulled you out of class, are you ok? Is that man bullying? If you are, you can stay with me until Izuku gets back.” Uraraka stated with fake worry.

“Its kind of hard to explain, I’m ok I promise.” Hikari said.

“We need to get to our next class; I’ll see you later, ok?” Hikari said and hurried away.

Chapter 7

Hikari got up the next morning with a little pep in her step. She and Izuku had lots of fun rolling around in the sheets and she hopes that she was pregnant, she put her hand on her lower belly. If she wasn’t she didn’t then they would have to keep trying.

She snuck out of her room to get ready. Katsuki should be home today which meant in a few days Izuku would be leaving for his work trip.

Izuku and Katsuki tried to plan work things so that Hikari wasn’t here by herself.

He got dressed in a cute outfit, she decided on a long white sleeve shirt with a black mid-thigh pinafore dress. She picked out short white socks with frills on the tops of them with some black Mary Jane shoes.

She twirled in front of the bathroom mirror before she heard the front door open.

Hikari ran out of the bathroom towards the front door and threw herself on Katsuki who of course caught her with ease.

“Oh, I missed you Kaachan. Welcome home.” Hikari said as she pounced on Katsuki.

“So good to be home. And my, how cute you look. Did you wear this all for me?” He asks teasing her.

Hikari giggled and nodded.

Katsuki carried her to the kitchen and plopped her on the closest counter.

“I went to that bakery and got you some of your favorite things,” Hikari commented. Katsuki nodded and went to the fridge to grab something.

Soon Izuku came out from the bedroom, he had bed head and was cute.

“Morning Hikari, morning Kaachan.” He said while rubbing his eyes. Izuku came over and kissed both on the cheek.

“So, are you pregnant yet? Did you have lots of fun while I was gone?” Katsuki blurted out. Hikari couldn’t help but laugh.

She once again put her hand on her stomach.

“I hope so. How amazing would that be?” Hikari commented rubbing it slightly.

Katsuki looked at Hikari and gave her a smile and kiss on the forehead.

“I’m gonna hop in the shower and catch some sleep. I’ll see you all at dinner. Maybe we could go out.” Katsuki said.

“Sounds good. I think I might do the same thing.” Izuku said and followed Katsuki.

Hikari pouted that she wanted to cuddle with her alphas too, but she must go to stupid class.

She jumped off the counter and once her feet touched the ground she got hit with a wave of nausea and dizziness. She stood there for a second waiting for the spell to be over.

It seemed Hikari was on her own getting to class. It was fine she would just take the train. She grabbed all her necessary items and popped her headphones in before leaving.

She walked to the station and hopped on the first train. She was able to get a seat and sat down. Just then she got a tap on her shoulder. She looked up and it was Uraraka.

“Good morning,” Uraraka said. Hikari smiled.

Mina and Hikari went on to the cafeteria, after getting some breakfast, Mina texted both Katsuki and Izuku.

Chapter 6

The group made it back to Hikari’s and sorted the treats.

Hikari bagged up Katsuki’s and some of Izuku’s but left something she knew he was going to want to eat.

Mina nodded.

When they got to the front Momo gasped.

“Good morning, What can I get you?” The worker asked.

“I’ll take six of your chocolate chip and lavender cookies, three of your sweet potato cupcakes, two raspberry macarons, two pistachio macarons, and two chocolate macarons, and I’ll take a whole strawberry cheesecake,” Hikari said.

“Will that be it?” The worker asked.

“Um, no. These other three are going to be ordering as well.” Hikari told the worker, pointing to the other three. Hikari stood back and waited for them to order.

Mina put her order in and then went to stand next to Hikari.

“Wow, she ordered a lot. Do you think it's all for her?” Momo joked. Uraraka laughed.

“I bet you it is,” Uraraka said back.

After joking around, Uraraka and Momo put their orders in and waited for their stuff.

“How did you find this place? It's so cute.” Uraraka asked.

“When I moved here, I went for a walk and found this place. It has gotten super popular over the years.” Hikari explained.

“So, I must ask Hikari. Uraraka and I have been talking and we really want to know how you met Izuku.” Momo asked. Hikari looked at Mina briefly who met her eyes before looking back at her phone.

“Uhm, Izuku and I grew up together, our mothers were friends in high school and kept up with one another after they graduated,” Hikari told them.

“That’s awesome and so sweet. You guys were childhood sweethearts. So romantic.” Uraraka said dreamily. Hikari smiled.

“You’re dating Shouto aren’t you Momo? How is that going?” Hikari asks. Momo fidgets in her hair a little trying to play it off as just shifting in her chair.

“It’s going great so far; it’s only been a few months but he’s a dream come true,” Momo says. Hikari gives her a smile.

“Ms. Midoriya. Your order is ready.” The worker announced.

“Awesome, are we ready to head back and get our snack on?” Hikari asks excitedly.

“Yes! Let’s go!” Uraraka says and jumps up to help carry some bags.

Chapter 4

Hikari walked into the school building slowly. She just wants this day to be over. It’s one of her long days. She was so staying home tomorrow.

Denki walked over and sat next to Hikari rubbing her back. Hikari closed her eyes, enjoying the little electric shocks Denki seemed to let out, it was unknown what it was, but Hikari thought it felt nice.

The rest of the group noticed right away and made a mental note to watch out for her.

The warning bell went off and Neito grabbed Denki’s hand and pulled him out of the room. He peeked his head back in.

“See you later Hikari!” He said before he was yanked.

Hikari couldn’t wait until after class was over.

Mina and Uraraka sat on each side of Hikari waiting for Professor to come in.

“Good morning class today is our quiz. I hope you all studied. It’s a hard one.” Professor Midnight said when she walked in. The quizzes were passed out and everyone started working on them.

“When you’re done. Please bring it to the front of the class and put it on my desk and then do something quietly until the end of the class. I have another assignment for you to do.” Midnight explained.

The quiz was easy for Hikari at least. She finished quickly and walked up to the front to hand it in.

“Good morning, Hikari, thank you for your test. Say, is everything ok?” Midnight asked. Hikari nodded her head.

“Omg! Are you pregnant?” Midnight asked excitedly, Hikari couldn’t help but laugh.

“No, not yet anyway. Haven’t found the right time to start trying.” Hikari explained. Midnight pouted.

Hikari walked back to her seat pulling out a book to read. Waiting for the rest of the class to finish.

Uraraka got up and turned her quiz in and then so did Mina, then a few others did as well. Soon the whole class was finished.

“Alright! Since everyone handed in their quiz, you will get these back on Monday. What I wanted to tell all of you was that we are going to be doing a group project. Mina, Hikari, Uraraka, and Momo will be in one group. When I call your name please go into your groups and we will talk about what you will be doing.” Professor Midnight said.

The other people in the class moved into their respective groups.

Momo walked over and sat down next to Uraraka.

“How are you Momo? It’s nice to see you. This is Uraraka. She’s new.” Mina introduced. Hikari stayed silent. She wasn’t in the mood to talk to people.

“Nice to meet you,” Uraraka said. Midnight came around and gave each group a slip of paper that told them what they would be doing.

“Alright, it seems we will be working on conducting a marketing campaign for a local business. Sounds easy enough. What type of business should we do?” Momo asked.

Hikari piped up knowing she should help in some way.

“We could do some advertisement or make a social media page with product pictures or something like that.” she offered.

“That sounds like a great idea!” Mina said. Momo nodded.

“Well, we have that down. What kind of business can we do?” Uraraka asked.

“How about a sweets shop? I know a cute bakery by my house we could get some things from. It might even help the business.” Hikari says.

“Awesome, why don’t we meet up this weekend at Hikari’s house and we can get some stuff to try so we are honest and real about our reviews? That should help with the social media page.” Uraraka offered. Hikari internally rolled her eyes. How the hell is going to offer her own house as she lives there of that their friends?

“That sounds like a wonderful idea! I’ll bring some tea over.” Then the bell rang signaling the end of the class period.

“See you guys this weekend. Oh! Here’s my number so we can have a group chat about this. Please send your address Hikari.” Momo announced before bounding out of the classroom.

“I’m sorry Hikari… I should’ve asked before offering we go to your house.” Uraraka said sadly, she even had some tears in her eyes. Hikari looked at Mina in shock. Was this girl serious?

“Um... I promise it's ok. We’ll see you this weekend. I’ll make a group chat and send my address.” Hikari said.

In an instant, the tears are gone. Uraraka hugged Hikari before bounding out the door.

“Oh, thank you! See you this weekend!” She called.

“Is it too late to switch colleges and move out of the country before this weekend?” Hikari asked packing up her stuff.

“Nah, I think if everyone helps. We can make that happen.” Mina said.

“Oh, how I love supportive friends,” Hikari said.

Mina interlaced her hand with Hikari, and they walked to the next class.

Chapter 3

Hikari didn't stop running until she was hidden. Izumi was so confused but followed her anyway.

"Everything ok?" He asked once he was next to her. Hikari shook her head. She wanted to tell him no but thought the truth would be better and who knows maybe she's just overthinking.

"I had to show a new girl around and she gives me weird vibes. Plus, she somehow knew who you were." Hikari said. Izuki grabbed her hand in his and squeezed it.

"Well if you got a bad feeling from her, trust your instincts and just watch her. Not too sure how she knows me. I'm just a social worker." He said and then gave a smile. Hikari laughed and pushed him.

"Yeah, a social worker for the most dangerous criminals in all of Japan," Hikari said and then stopped.

"Do you think she's a criminal? Is that how she knows you?" Hikari asked jokingly. Izuku shrugged his shoulders.

"I only deal with higher-end criminals," Izuku explained. Hikari nodded.

"Well, it's whatever. Let's get dinner." Hikari said, unbeknownst to the two of them. They were being followed.

The couple went inside the grocery store and bought several items for dinner along with some snacks.

All while Ochako followed them. Of course, the pair had no idea.

Soon the food was paid for and they started their journey home. Hoping on a train.

Ochako had a blush on her face as she watched the two. Wishing she was in Hikari's place, Her stop was coming up soon but she needed something to remember this by. So she pulled out her phone and started snapping pictures. Hoping not to get any of Hikari.

"Now arriving at —-- please watch your step." Ochako had no choice but to get off and once she did, the train pulled away. Ochako wished she could have stayed on the train to find out where it was that Izuku lived but that would have to wait. Maybe she would have to befriend Hikari and get closer to Izuku. Yeah, that was a good idea. Ochako decided to wait until she was at home to text Hikari. She didn't want to scare the poor girl away. At least not yet she didn't.

"Almost our stop," Hikari commented. Izuku nodded. Although they couldn't see anyone. The two of them felt as though they were being watched. Izuku intertwined his hand with Hikari's. Something was wrong and he was on edge. Maybe he's just overreacting but better to be safe than sorry.

"Now arriving at —-- please watch your step." The automated voice announced. Hikari and Izuku stood up and made their way off the train. Still holding hands.

Just then Hikari's phone starts ringing, she knew immediately that it was Katsuki who was calling. Because of the vulgar song she picked for him.

Growing up Katsuki used to get in so much trouble with his mom because he kept swearing so when that song came out. It was only natural to dedicate it to him.

Hikari quickly answered.

"Hello~," She said.

"Yeah, we're almost home. I'll start dinner right away." Hikari said before handing the phone to Izuku.

"Yes, we'll. come straight home. And not get sidetracked by that adorable pet shop on the way… or the yummy dessert shop either…" Izuku said pouting. Katsuki knew his mates very well and if he didn't tell them to hurry up. None of them would be eating dinner and Katsuki would be damned if he was ordering out again.

Izuku hung the phone up and gave it back to Hikari.

"He's no fair… we wouldn't have taken THAT long at the pet store. And! I hear they're getting some older dogs in…" Hikari said. She and Izuku laughed walking all the way home.

Izuku and Hikari made it home and encoded tome, but the two were greeted by Katsuki.

"you two made it just in time. You're lucky. Now get in here and start dinner so we can cuddle and crap…" He started. And then whispered out.

"I had a rough day at work and I want to cuddle with my mates," Katsuki said. Hikari laughed.

"Gotcha! I'll start dinner right away. We're having curry and I will make sure to make it spicy." Hikari said before disappearing to shower quickly. She heard a thump and Izuku squeal.

"Kaachan. That tickles!" Izuku expressed.

"Shut the hell up and accept my love," Katsuki complained.

Hikari finished her shower quickly and started on dinner.

She was about halfway done when her phone's notification went off.

Then it happened again and again.

Hikari was in the middle of cooking so she couldn't stop what she was doing to look at it.

"Ahh… Ummm… kaachan or Izu… can you check why my phone is going off? I can't stop stirring or it'll stick and burn." Hikari asked.

Katsuki pushed Izuku roughly put out of love and went to grab her phone. He unlocked it and looked at the notifications.

"There are a few text messages. Want me to read them?" He asked.

"Yes please," Hikari responded.

"It says." Katsuki started.

'Thank you for helping me today, I appreciate it. You are so nice and I hope that we can be friends.'

"That's what it says. Who's it from?" Katsuki asked.

"Professor Midnight asked me to show a new girl around and I gave her my number," Hikari responded. Katsuki modded.

"I'll respond after dinner. Now come eat! So we can cuddle!" Hikari said and started dishing out plates.

Chapter 2

Hikari walked into the entrance of the building going straight for her class. For some reason, she felt something was off but couldn’t put her finger on it.

When she walked into the classroom the first thing she noticed was her fellow classmates in small groups whispering about something.

Hikari set her things down and sat down in her spot. It was always better to keep your nose out of other's business, plus the news was going to come out eventually.

Hikari pulled her phone out and started texting the school group chat wondering what was happening.

Her phone vibrated and it was Mina, of course, it was. This made Hikari giggle a little bit. If you needed to know anything about what was happening in the school. Mina was the one to ask.

‘There’s a new student starting in Professor Midnight's class, rumor has it she’ll be asking you to show her around and stuff. -Mina

‘Ahh, is that it? Think I can skip this class and not have to deal with any of that?’- Hikari

‘Nah, she’ll be there soon. She just finished talking to her and they are on the way now.’-Mina.

Hikari was just about to ask how she knew that when the door slammed open and in came a heavy-breathing pink-haired girl, she sat down right next to Hikari.

“Girl I was almost late this morning,” Mina said trying to catch her breath. Hikari laughed at her. Just then the professor walked in and the other people that were standing up scurried quickly back to their desks.

“Good morning class, today is Monday unfortunately, and we have a test coming up so be prepared to take many notes. Also, this test will be open notes so be diligent about how you take them. Another thing to say before I pull up the materials is that we have a new student starting with us today.” Professor Midnight started and then looked in Hikari’s direction.

“Miss Midoriya, if you could please stay behind after class? That would be wonderful.” Professor said without giving Hikari a chance to accept or decline. Hikari just nodded her head and sunk down in the seat. Mina patted her on the head and gave her a small smile.

She didn’t want to show anyone around. It was her turn to cook dinner and he still had to stop at the grocery store to pick up some last-minute things. She sighed and pulled out her phone to send Katsuki and Izuku a message about being a little late.

‘There’s a new kid, I must show them around. Dinner might be late’ -Hikari.

‘That’s ok.’ -Alpha Kaachan

‘I’ll still meet you after your classes and we can go to the store’ -Alpha Izu

Hikari smiled.

The class went on as usual. The new girl hasn’t shown up yet. Maybe she wouldn’t. That would be a dream.

Hikari scribbled down notes trying to pay attention.

She disliked people, not her friends of course but other people. Those random extras as her alpha Katsuki would call them, were annoying.

“Alright, there are only a few minutes left of class, make sure you look over your notes. Ms. Midoriya, if you would please come down to see me.” Midnight asked. Hikari wanted to badly to kick a chair. Mina laughed at her.

Hikari gathered her things and headed down toward the front.

“Thank you for taking the time to help me out, I knew I could rely on you. How are my two former students? I think it's crazy how you ended up with both of them,” Midnight joked. You let out a low laugh.

“Anyway, follow me.” Midnight said. Hikari nodded and followed her out of the classroom and down the hall toward the front office.

“Ahh, good that you’re still here Ochako. I would like you to meet someone important to me. This is Hikari Midoriya.” Midnight said.

Hikari reached her hand out.

“It’s nice to meet you, Ochako. You can just call me Hikari.” Hikari tells her. Ochako at first didn’t move, she actually gave Hikari a dirty look but in a flash, it was gone and a smile was replaced.

“It’s so nice to meet you!” Ochako says, Shaking Hikari’s hand vigorously.

“Alright, I will leave you two girls to it then. Ochako, I will see you tomorrow in class. Take good care of her Hikari!” Midnight says before she leaves.

“Ok, let's get this tour on the road,” Hikari says, leaving the office and walking around the campus showing her places and pointing out where her classes were. It seemed Ochako had the same schedule as Hikari.

Soon they were back in front of the building. Ochako was the first one to spot him.

“OH MAH GOD!!! IS THAT IZUKU!?” She whispers shouted. Hikari looked in the direction she was pointing.

“Oh, yeah it is. Um, if it’s ok with you. I’m going to head out first. I’ve got some errands to run.” Hikari said and ran off towards Izuku before Ochako could say anything.
