"Mama? What are you doing?"
You turn to see your five year old clutching a pillow in his tiny hand, his star print blanket on the floor behind him. He rubs his eyes as he waddles over to you, his overgrown hair spilling silky curls over his forehead.
You can't help but smile as you reach your hand out to Noah. He looks so much like his father, with his mussed up hair and doe eyes.
"I'm looking at the moon," you answer him, pulling the little boy into your lap. His curls tickle your nose as you wrap your arms around him, holding him close to you. "Can't sleep?"
Noah shakes his head as he nuzzles against you. "Miss daddy."
You hum at that, smiling at him ruefully. "I miss daddy too," you reply, threading your fingers through Noah's hair. "He'll be soon home though baby."
Noah's face lights up at the mention of your husband coming home soon, and he turns to face you with the huge grin he inherited from his father. "Why are you looking at the moon?"
"It's pretty," you shrug, turning your gaze to the full moon shining through your ceiling to floor windows. Most of the lights in your house are off since it's past midnight, but the moon sends in a steady stream of silvery light that illuminates the living room as well as any lamp. "Don't you think so?"
Noah scrambles up onto the armrest of the sofa, his hands clutching at your arm as he tries to get a better view of the natural light. "It's bright."
You laugh softly at his analysis. "It is, isn't it?"
"Why else do you like it?" Noah asks curiously as he crawls back into your lap again.
"Well ... it reminds me of your daddy," you admit, smiling up at the moon. "He always loved the moon too."
"Daddy's a wolf," Noah says with a giggle, placing his hands on top his head. In the shadows of the night, he moves his head around and howls in imitation of the animal, making you laugh.
"That's right, I am a wolf," Chan's voice suddenly cuts through your mingled laughter and you turn just as your husband dives into Noah with a goofy grin, his arms wrapping round the shrieking boy.
Noah giggles and squeals as Chan tickles him, laughing loudly when Chan playfully nuzzles his face into Noah's chest. "Daddy, it tickles!"
Chuckling, Chan swings Noah up into his arms and sits down beside you on the sofa, hugging the boy tight as he leans over to you. With a bright grin, Chan drops a gentle kiss onto your lips in greeting, sliding one arm around you as he holds your son with the other. "Why are you two awake?"
"We were looking at the moon," Noah replies, patting Chan's hand. "Mama said it reminds her of you."
"Is that so?" Chan asks, turning to you with a wink. You giggle and drop your head onto his shoulder, sliding a little down the sofa as you make yourself comfortable.
"It reminds me of our first date," you reply, sliding your hand into Chan’s free one. "Remember? You took me on that picnic."
Chan groans then, dropping his face into the top of your head in embarrassment. "Don't even remind me. I couldn't see and we ended up eating grass in the sandwiches."
Laughing, you shake your head. "I think I fell in love with you right at that moment."
At that, Chan lifts his head and locks his eyes with yours; they crinkle into half moons as he giggles, a pretty blush spreading across the apples of his cheeks. "Why, because of my grass sandwiches?"
"Mhm. Exactly because of your grass sandwiches."
Noah makes a disgusted sound. "Grass sandwiches sound disgusting. Daddy you should have made cake!"
"Cake? How about grass cake?" Chan offers, and when Noah shakes his head with his tongue sticking out, Chan drops his head onto yours. The moon casts a silvery halo around Noah's head and Chan reaches out to pinch the boy's cheeks.
"You look like a Moon Child," Chan tells him, ruffling his hair. "You're glowing from the moon."
Noah widens his eyes, grabbing Chan's arms. "Am I a wolf too?"
You giggle as as Chan grins at him. "Yes Noey, you're a wolf. Our little wolf."

Requested: Dad!Mark x mom!reader
Genre: bebe floof🍼
Based off of this tiktok
“C’mon say Ma Ma.” Your son just stared at you as you, once again, lay in the floor of your home trying to get him to say mama. You heard the tired chuckle of your husband behind you as he got ready to head off to work for the day.
“Babe, he clearly has the favorite parent. Just accept it.” You turned and glared at Mark as he busted out laughing. See your son just so happen, learned to say Dada…even though you carried the baby’s for 9 months, birthed him, fed him, carry him, literally spend the most time with him and yet he has the audacity…to make his first words Dada.
“I really don’t like you right now so if you could just hurry up and get out. I need to coherence our son to love me more than you.” Mark walked over to you and lifted you up the ground so he could get his morning kisses before leaving you to your shenanigans.
“You love me, don’t be mean.”
“That’s debatable as our son spends the most time with me yet he says dada who’s barely here.” You didn’t mean to be unreasonable, you appreciated Mark’s hard work and all. But you got spoiled when he was on family leave with you when your son was born.
You were so used to having him all the time that now it was hard to let him go back to work. You missed him lots and now with the baby here you really appreciated the extra hands. Mark saw your sadness in your eyes as he hated leaving you and your son too. He pushed back some of your hair before leaning in and nudging your nose with his. He knew that was the only way to get you to smile before finally laying his lips on your’s. You were basking in the moment before
“Dada, dada, dada.” interrupted your moment with your husband. He left one last kiss on your nose before leaning down and scooping up your son.
“Be nice to your mama today! She’s the one that feeds you, little man.” Your son simply smiled as Mark carefully lifted your son up and down. Mark held your son to his chest before leaving a kiss on top of his head and handed him to you.
“Love you, I’ll be home as soon as I can, okay?” You nodded and said ‘love you’ before you turned back to your baby son.
“Alright, now. Are you ready for baby and MAMA time? I think you are.” But your son kept staring at the door your husband left out of before he babbled off his dadas.
“Dada’s not here. It’s mama!” You got a nice spit noise making you pout. You sent a video to Mark of that moment.
You: you brainwashed our son.
Mark simply laughed before Johnny leaned over and read your text.
“How did you get him to say dada. You’re always here.”
“I don’t know man, but Y/n’s taking this to heart.” It was a nice start for his day as he texted you in between free moments to see if your son had said mama yet. So far no. Finally he got his lunch break and called you.
“Baby, it’s okay! Maybe he got confused and really means MAMA.”
“Mark he’s sleeping.”
“Oh…well I tried.” You appreciated the help and got a nice chuckle out of it. You asked about Mark’s day and what the guys were up to. In the middle of the call though you heard a ping from the baby monitor and a little voice calling out.
“Mmm…mmma! Ma!! Mamamamama!!” Your heart nearly jumped out of your chest as you heard your son finally call out for you.
“Mark did you hear that! He’s saying mama!” Mark chuckled as you finally got your son to call you and went to pick up your now awake son.
“Tell daddy what you just said! Say mama!” And sure enough your son started to say mama and learned both names. Mark cheered for your son over the phone as you couldn’t get the smile off your face.
“You need to hurry back home, you have to hear this in person!”
“I will babe. I’m almost done with our last song and then I’ll be back with my babies.” Your cheeks heated up as Mark said ‘I love you’ and worked his butt off to get home. He couldn’t wait to hold you both in his arms and teach your son some new words.
a/n: hi hello, I’m barely alive from this semester. I’m still not done yet but I found some time to post! So I hope this was okay and thanks for reading!💕

like father, like daughter : h.js
word count | 1.1k
pairing | joshua hong (svt) x female reader
warning(s) | none (lmk if i missed anything!!)
genre | fluff, parent au
a/n: @joshuas happy valentine’s day 💗 this really, really isn’t much, but i wanted to write you a little something as a thank you for hosting the carat admirer event and also bc i love you 🥺 enjoy!!!!!

The sight of the little hand pulling his sleeve brings a wide smile to Joshua’s face as your daughter eagerly tugs him towards her craft table. He almost wants to laugh when she sternly points at a tiny pink stool with her other hand placed on her hip, a silent—and rather adorable—demand for him to sit. She reminds him of you in many ways, this is no exception.
Of course, he gladly obliges, uncaring that his knees go up to his chest as he squeezes his body into the stool. Although, he does have to be careful with where he puts his weight because he can’t imagine Cupcake the Teddy Bear being very happy if he breaks her designated chair for tea parties.
“What do you have there, princess?” he asks, leaning in to look into her unzipped bag.
Your daughter, noticing his staring, promptly slams the bag shut and places her tiny palms over the front protectively. “No peeking, Daddy! Close your eyes!”
“Okay, okay,” Joshua relents with a chuckle, scooting back in his stool and bringing his hands up to cover his eyes. Seconds later, he feels little fingers prodding at his hands, ensuring there are no gaps between the fingers before the rummaging noises resume. Another minute later, he senses something being placed around his neck.
“You can look now!”
She beams proudly as he removes his hands from his face, and he looks down to find a new necklace added around his neck. The corners of his eyes crinkle from happiness as he admires the rainbow assortment of beads, completed with a pink charm in the shape of a ‘J’ that sits in the centre to serve as the focal point of the piece.
“Now we match!” his little angel says, pointing to her own necklace—one of the many he’s made over the past few months when he took up jewellery-making as a hobby. She claims she loves them all equally, but something tells him she’s most drawn to the red one with the flower and butterfly-shaped beads. Though, he can't say he isn’t immensely flattered when she refuses to take it off even for baths, which then requires several minutes of coaxing and promising to keep it safe from both you and Joshua before she’d begrudgingly hand it over.
“Do you like it?” she asks, overcome with a sudden wave of shyness as she nervously shifts her weight from one leg to the other. “The big one in the middle was a heart at first, but then I asked Amelia to trade with me so I could have the ‘J’…”
Joshua grins, kneeling in front of her to pull her into his arms, the smile on his face growing when he hears her delighted giggles by his ear. “Of course I love it, baby,” he says, feeling her bashfully burying her head into the soft material of his sweater, “I promise I’ll never take it off.”
“No! You have to take it off when you shower!” she protests, “Mommy said the water will ruin it!” Her eyes brighten up at the mention of you before she’s wriggling out of his arms, reaching into her bag once more to pull out a similar-looking necklace. “I made this one for her! So you two can match too!”
“I’m sure she’ll love it,” Joshua tells her sincerely, a light laugh pushing past his lips at a memory that rises to the forefront of his mind. It was during your university days while you were still dating; the two of you had shown up to your shared afternoon lecture after a full day of classes to find that you were wearing matching cardigans.
He still remembers the cute whine that left you as you playfully complained about how awfully cheesy the whole ordeal was and how everyone was probably going to think you coordinated outfits. He could only giggle, interlacing your fingers and cheekily telling you, “Now everyone knows I’m yours,” before leaning away to dodge the embarrassed slap you tried to land on his shoulder.
The sound of keys jingling pulls him out of his reverie.
“Mommy’s home!” Without a second to spare, your daughter hops off her chair and runs out of her room with your necklace in hand, eager to be the first one to welcome you home.
You toe off your shoes just in time to catch her as she leaps into your arms. “Hi, baby,” you smile, “did you have fun at school today?”
Her head bobs up and down enthusiastically. “Yeah! I made you and Daddy something too!”
“Really?”
“She sure did,” Joshua chimes in, leaning against the doorframe as he watches his girls adoringly. Your eyes light up at the sight of him, happy to see your husband after a long day of work, though you quickly squeeze them shut and duck your head at your daughter's request. A grin tugging at your lips when she carefully moves your hair aside to place something over your head. When you open your eyes, a beaded necklace—completed with a silvery charm in the shape of the first letter of your name that’s also flanked by two pink hearts—twinkles up at you.
“It’s so pretty, baby. Thank you,” you gush, laughing when she immediately throws her arms around your neck. Her hair tickles the skin of your neck as she whispers, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
You pull back slightly to smile at her and gently brush messy strands of hair from her face. “Happy Valentine’s Day, angel. Looks like you’re just as good as your dad, hm?”
“She’s even better,” Joshua agrees. Your daughter shyly hides her face into the crook of your neck at his compliment, a sight that has your heart overflowing with endearment. Over her shoulder, your eyes once again find Joshua’s, twinkling at you like the brightest stars in the universe. There truly isn’t a better word to describe the way he gazes at you and your daughter other than love. Because Joshua Hong loves deeply and ardently; your many years with him are testament to that.
“I love you,” he mouths silently, not wanting to interrupt your moment with your daughter.
He thinks your smile is the prettiest thing on Earth, so radiant it rivals the sun when you mouth it back.
“I love you too.”

a/n: hi ria :hehecat: 💗 thank you all for reading and happy valentine’s day 💗 feedback is highly highly appreciated!!!!
