Daryl Masterlist // Main Masterlist

Daryl and you come back to camp (Alexandria or the Prision, you choose) from a run for suppies. Turns out there's not much that you can find after years of this nightmare, but Daryl's traps have captured a few rabbits, better less than nothing. You two inform Rick on what you brought back to the camp.

Later, you find yourselves sitting side by side on a makeshift bench out in the yard, the sun bleeding orange over the prison walls. The rabbits are skinned and cleaned, hanging on a line nearby to drain before cooking. Your hands smell like iron and dirt, but you don’t really mind, ypu've ended up getting used to it through the years and it's nothing that bothers Daryl either he did this even before the apocalypse started so he's used to it aswell. It’s the smell of survival after all.

Daryl’s working on the last one, his knife glinting in the low light. He’s quiet, but not in the usual gruff way. It’s the kind of quiet that means his head’s somewhere else.

“You okay?” you ask, brushing some hair out of your face.

He shrugs without looking up. “Just thinkin’. Used t’be, goin’ huntin’ meant bringin’ somethin’ home. Now it’s… just keepin’ everyone from starvin’ another day.”

You don’t know what to say to that at first. It’s the truth, after all. Still, you tilt your head, watching him work. “Feels different when you’re not just keepin’ yourself alive, though. Feels… worth it.”

That makes him glance at you. There’s a flicker of something in his eyes, something almost vulnerable. He wipes his knife on a rag and sets it aside.

“Worth it, huh?” he mutters, and you can tell he’s rolling the words around like he’s not sure he deserves them.

“Yeah,” you say simply. “You kept me going out there today. You always do.”

For a long moment, he doesn’t say anything, just studies your face in the dimming light. Then, with the faintest twitch of a smile, he nods once and starts packing up the tools.

When you stand to head back inside, you catch him falling into step beside you, close enough that your arms almost brush. He doesn’t say it out loud, but you can feel it—the quiet agreement, the unspoken you keep me going too.

Bucky Barnes in The Void

Some ideas on Buckys rooms in the void given the fact that Marvel writers were scared of making him a main character in the 100th marvel film that he has been on.

Warnings: Its Mr.Barnes, theres NO comfort here, mentions of past trauma, torture...

Room 1

Neverending fall from the train, seeing Steve's scared face and then falling for what feels like hours and hours.

Then he stops seeing Steves face, the train to faar to see but he keeps falling and falling into the white white snow.

Then he starts hearing all the screams of fear and pain that he caused while under Hydras control mixed with his own.

Until he finally hits the ground and is taken to room 2

Room 2

He wakes up tied up, doctors all around him getting ready to perform "shock therapy" but never actually doing it.

They strap him up and prepare the machines.

He feels anxiety, terror and starts preparing himself for the pain there is to come.

The terror of the room is based on Bucky knowing the pain and suffering that awaits but never giving it to him.

Room 3

Him as the winter soldier on a mission

His body moves on its own, grabbing people and unaliving them while he is forced to watch, helplessly as they keep dying.

They are all known faces, of people he did kill back when Hydra had control over him.

Room 4

A cold, sterile room with one metal chair bolted to the floor.

Restraints dangle, stained with rust and blood.

Loudspeakers blare Russian trigger words on repeat.

Surveillance mirrors show versions of himself committing atrocities, unblinking. He's locked up here, forced to watch this videos of himself over and ovwr again

The door to the outside never opens, no matter how much he screams.

Room 5

He's in his apartment in Romania, right before the events that leed to Civil War, he's alone in his room, rethinking everything he's done.

He can see himself back then, bottle of whiskey in one hand and a gun in the other, contempling how easy it would be to get rid of the monster inside of him in that same instant

Room 6

He sees himself back at Tonys funeral, Steve has just left to go back to Peggy, Bucky is static, unable to move, surrounded by his thoughts "Was I not good enough for Steve?" "What do I do now?" "Did he leave because I caused too much trouble to him?" "Maybe I don't deserve this after all" on repeat as he sees Steve give Sam the shield.

I'd say you'd meet in a very unhinged way, like she mistakes you for someone she's supposed to spy on but ends up watching you play bass at a low-key gig instead. Realizes immediately that you’re not the target… but stays for the set anyway. You catch her after, leaning against a wall, wearing her classic combat vest, smirking and asking, “Where did you learn to play like that?”

Yelena lives for having a laugh. She’s sharp-witted, sarcastic, and absolutely thrives in the kind of banter you love. You’d get her to open up more than she usually does, and she’d love that you’re someone she can just be with — no act, no front, just real.

She’d learn everything about Greek mythology just to argue over who’s most morally gray (she’d love Medusa, obviously), and she’d sit on the couch for hours watching you play Skyrim, commenting things like, “Why are you stealing from the chicken? Is that normal?” but secretly enjoying the world-building and dragons.

Se loves everything about you. Your clothing? She adores it. Your lack of coordination? “No, no, you’re setting trends. Avant-garde.” She makes up nonsense compliments that make you laugh. And she gets how important it is to exist without having to mask — she’s had to hide who she is too many times herself. Around her, you’re never “too much” or “too different.” You're just you. And that’s enough.

She is surprisingly touchy, like, once you get over her oh so mighty high walls. Once you do that its all touch touch touch, leg over yours while you're sitting, thumb tracing circles on the back of your hand absentmindedly, forehead bumps, hugs that linger. And she adores just spending time with you — even if it’s sitting in silence while you both do your own thing.
