Somehow the player character in a universe ends up not being a Tarnished, but rather, somehow, a Grace Given Omen. Seeing all the other options said Omen either A: Decides to go with Ranni and our favorite blue witch ends up with an Omen for a Consort and it's super cute a lovey dovey or B: the Grace Given Omen somehow made their own Mending rune and it makes the Crucible equal to the Erdtree and now Omen aren't cursed anymore, they're not shunned, it's a genuine age of equality... our Grace Given Omen has decided that they will burn the thorns of the Erdtree with their own innate fire from their blood as an Omen and so Melina doesn't need to burn herself, and thus as someone who's been beside our Grace Given Omen ends up their Consort in the renewed age of the Crucible.

Wanting to write fanfiction but...

I've tried in the past to write fanfiction, and I've never finished one. I end up stopping a few chapters in for one reason or another, and now I want to write again however I'm afraid that if I start what I want to write that I will just do it again cause I have nobody to prod me into "hey you should do the thing you want to do" Executive dysfunction is fucking hard to deal with especially in tandem with anxiety and nobody to help you with it. I don't even have a proofreader. It'd be really nice to have that, but I've got literally one friend, and they have their own shit to deal with... Not sure if this is a call for a proofreader, asking for a friend, or coauthor, or just bitching about my situation but here it is. I wanna write a Madoka Magica self-insert/sort of crossover with the Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya cause there's literally one crossover for that and it's long since dead.

Ok so as a fan of mythology, history, and the Nasuverse I have a fair amount of knowledge about Greek gods... and it's far worse than is stated in PJO. And I find myself pondering what happens when a demigod in the series refuses camp half blood and denies their godly parent... in part because I know I would because buy and large I hate the Greek gods. Aphroditie, Athena, Hera, Poeseidon, and Zeus more than any others due to their disgusting actions towards humans in their myths. And honestly with my personality I'd say it out right and if they smited me for the disrespect then I'd be fine with that but I can genuinely see myself saying "Go ahead and smite me, curse me, but you're all nothing but beautiful monsters and the only Greek God who I would ever accept as a parent is Hades. I hate God's on principle and if you all just dropped dead that'd be fine with me." Like I'd legit rather die than be accept being related to Greek gods. Most gods are shit to humans tbh but my views on them are also skewed by the Fate franchise so there's some that I'm chill with. Death gods mostly. They tend to mostly mind their own business, by and large they aren't spiteful or hateful and don't bother with things unrelated to their domains. That's not to say they're perfect but of the things that I do object to death gods have the least "sins" so to speak.

All this to say I'd love to see a PJO fanfic with the main character (ideally a female oc or self insert and not Percy) with the "ignoring the call" trope and telling the gods to fuck off.

A lesbian is reincarnated/isekaied into a historical harem anime/otome game and now shes desperately trying to avoid all of the men and convince everyone that the last thing she ever wants to do is marry a prince. She just wants to get through her schooling and get the hell out of dodge and live in the ass end of nowhere where she can live with her plants, her pants, and her cat.

Yesterday a man came into my work, all scruffy and dirty with a big backpack on his shoulders, and as he was leaving I told him to stay dry because it’s been raining almost none stop for a few days. 

He stopped and turned around and laughed, and then he showed me his new shoes that he just bought and said “I’ve been walking the perimeter of the United States; these shoes will last me another month, rain or sunshine.”

We talked for a bit and he told me about how he’s walking around the perimeter of the entire U.S. to raise awareness and money for the homeless. He told me about some things he’s seen and the places he’s been so far. Before he left, he gave me a big smile, said “God be with you,” and walked out the door with the happiest strut I’ve ever seen. 

He started off in Virginia and made it all the way down here to Florida on foot, and he’s still got a long way to go. He was very kind and very optimistic. 

I’ve never met someone like him before, so I want to try and spread him and his effort here on tumblr. 

He isn’t very popular yet, but I really want to try to spread his word and raise awareness of the homelessness issue here in the U.S., and try to help him raise money for this cause.
