I would also quickly like to add this is the same person who, upon her last visit to the country, found an injured hedgehog on the side of the road and tried taking it to the nearby vets in the hopes of rehabilitating it back into the wild because (and I quote) “their protected back home :(“

“have you tried releasing badgers to get rid of the rabbits?”

I would love to talk to this person out of sheer curiosity. delightfully baffling. badgers... the same badgers known to specifically go for ground nesting birds and chicks? those badgers? oh my god
