I love seeing this after making my own theory for where Grillby is yesterday (the 13th)

2am sleepless doodles,,, I graduate from college tomorrow (today?) i guess Im nervous or maybe its just the regular sleeplessness lol.

made him a darkworld design,,,there dont really seem to be any clear rules darkworld counterparts follow but Fire is often blue,,so he gets to be blue. also my undertale oc Jon cus, mm. well its presumably obvious what his deal is. Don't talk about him much cus its a little embarrassing.

Ramblings below heres ur spoiler warning!!

Where IS he. Before chapter 3 I obviously didnt have any real idea and I just kinda giggled abt it like "haha wheres grillby". And logically, hes probably just not important enough to toby to be included. I can accept that. but. BUT HIS BAR IS THERE. Sure it's been Sans-ed but like. its still his bar its the same building and the " 'S" in "Grillby's" IS WHAT MAKES UP THE S IN "SANS'"

AND NOW THAT WE'VE LITERALLY SEEN SOMEONE GET ABDUCTED (Undyne) Its so much less funny!!! where IS he. Its not that I really think he was taken by the knight cus again hes not an important character in the scheme of things!! but MAN!!!! I wish he was,,, I just want to KNOW if he was. Taken. or something or if it really is just like. womp womp. CUS LIKE. Im not checking rn its 2am but isnt his??? niece??? (i think its his niece) around??? she works at the diner??? is he just AWAY?? and sans moved into his bar IMMEDIATLEY? UGHGH

Anyway. Im thinking abt developing more deltarune lore for Jon The Moth (who has a Toyhouse if you're really curious) but his whole deal is really closely tied to Determination and stuff so. Im having a hard time thinking of how id really do that. Right now hes just the i miss my wife guy. Aside from being a librarian.

So uh.. Grillby not in Deltarune am I right? (I have not played 3&4 yet)

Haha... I have an idea...

Grillby has a sort of basement/cellar underneath the store that is accessed via a trapdoor in the back. A darkworld was made in said basement and he fell into it trying to bring down a box of drinks. The trapdoor fell and locked behind him. Sans never was able to get it open until now, he falls into it, Kris and Susie go looking for him, go in themselves, bada bing bada boom.

I'd imagine the place is very cold with plants and stuff growing all over, some spots are frozen over and there's ice patches in the floor sometimes, the ice is more present the deeper you go and the end is literally frozen over (the freezer where he kept the meats and stuff). There's no heat sources, Grillby is the only one. The further you go the colder it gets, the colder you are the slower you get, so you need to stay near the only heat source (Grillby) until you find warmer clothes.

You find Sans at the beginning and Grillby near the beginning, Grillby didn't wonder far when he first fell. He was there for a while but he lost track of time, sometimes sleeping for days on end or not being able to sleep at all, so he has no idea exactly how long he's been there. Grillby like.. immediately joins the team. Sans doesn't know Grillby at all, but Grillby does have some recollection of him, though its blurry. Its like everyone forgot Grillby the second he was transported to the darkworld. Grillby starts getting more scared the deeper you go or the more ice is present. He seems paranoid. You know its not worry of melting the ice since at the beginning he said (or signed) something that really couldn't make it a possibility. He also doesn't avoid areas with water/liquids at all. Theres more but I wanna work on them more... PLEASE send questions in...

I don't know how much I like it or if I got things like lore or personality right, but its progress.. this is for a fic I wanna write of my Grillby AU, this part isn't done yet ofc. Theres more text under the image too

The Reapertale!Grillby concept/idea is from @callmeherry ! I got permission from them to use it and i'm very grateful to them for that. I have also gotten permission to use Code so I may work on that part next. I am not writing the parts in order at the moment so I have no clue which chapter in the fic this will take part in...

This will be a multi-AU fic, including many AUs like Underfell, Underswap, Mafiatale, ect ect, so if you want your AU included in here then feel free to send in an ask or anything? I do plan to ask some other AU creators i've seen on here (ken-tfc, omakpia) but I haven't gotten around to it or i'm too scared
