"I think music today is… some of it is really, really cool, but it's more reliant on production, it's much more about sound, and so sound has become more important than harmony. For now." Dominic Miller

“I feel like we missed the boat. Like it started with downloads, you know, 24 years ago, and then by the time we actually came out, downloads are done. We missed 20 years of reaching two generations of people to understand what it is that we do, in a format that, you know… I don’t like listening to the mp3 version. I listen to CDs and vinyl.” He continued: “But that’s the gateway to get them into the vinyl and the CDs. And I feel like we made a mistake not being on those mediums for 20 years. […] when Charlie Christian put a pickup on his guitar, he wasn't playing the licks of an acoustic guitarist. There was a new music to go with this essentially new instrument. When Hendrix added wah-wah and fuzz, it wasn't an updated Charlie Christian; it was an entirely new instrument with a new sound, a new vocabulary, and new music to go along with it.

The ambient thruster noise from the 1979 arcade game Lunar Lander […] extended it into this long ambient version by getting the thrust amount at just the right level to not crash the ship or take off into orbit ( both of which cause the player to lose a quarter ). So strap in to your lunar lander's comfy chair as you drift off to sleep hovering above the moon.
