Report : Accommodation
If you live far from Gray and want to participate to the festival, you can find several types of lodging in the town. When a festival takes place in a city, it is necessary to provide accomodations because this type of event attracts a lot of people from other areas and even other countries. During the Rolling Saône festival, Gray attracts people from the city and other areas around like Dijon, Besançon... So the accomodations are important.
In Gray, you can find a single room in the FJT, which is a home for young workers and a youth hostel located only 200 meters of the festival, it costs 19€/night. There is also a free camping for festival paticipants, it is called the «Camping Intercommunal Longue Rive», it is located 600 meters of the festival, at the edge of the river Saône, near to the beach, in a peaceful environment. You can buy your ticket and take your bracelet for the festival between 13pm and 20pm, and after 20pm, you will receive your bracelet after presenting your ticket.
You can also stay in a hotel, there are three hotels in Gray: «Le Fer à Cheval», a 45€/night hostel containing 46 rooms located 9 av. Carnot, «Au Mastroquet», a 45€/night hotel located 1 av. Carnot and the Ivon Giroux hotel located Place de la Republique. The advantage is that the hotels are not far from each other because Gray is a small town, and there are enough accomodations to welcome the participants. Moreover, it is not expensive.

Music Tourism
Nowadays, when people talk about Tourism, what comes first to one's mind is "vacations", "hotels", "planes", "museums".... But actually Tourism is very active in the music world. Each year, Music Festivals are organized in several cities and bring many tourists from all around the world at one place.
As an example, there is The Rolling Saône. It's a spring festival which takes  place in Gray, a small town in France. Gray has 6 000 inhabitants. It is a very beautifut city in the East side of France. Quiet and peaceful, it has wonderful landscape and many historical monuments.
Why "The Rolling Saône"? This name refers to the band The Rolling Stone : a rock band whose concerts and festivals gathered millions of people. The change of Stone into Saône is due to the fact that there is a river called La Saône which flows through many of the cities arround Gray, including Gray itself. The town in which the festival takes place is located in the center of several other cities, which are bigger (Dijon, Besançon, Vesoul...)
Each year, this festival gathers nearly 4 500 people with famous international artists such as Shaka Ponk, Psy4 De La Rime, Emmanuelle Moire... We decided to talk about this Festival because we used to live in Gray and we could clearly see how this festival had brought tourists in that small town.
