Saturday 7th January 2017, #CharlieChoc completed its run at Theatre Royal Drury Lane after 1,527 SCHNOZZTASTIC performances! Now ranking as one of the top longest running shows, it joins Miss Saigon, My Fair Lady, and 42nd Street. With an audience of over 2.5 million, it has twice smashed the West End’s highest ever reported weekly grosses. Going into rehearsal this month, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory officially opens at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York on the 23 April.

On 7th January 2017, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory closed at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. It will be opening on Broadway 28th March 2017.

I’m not sure if I will continue this blog with info from the Broadway show, I’m UK based so this may be tricky. I’ll see how it goes. No intention of abandoning here though.
