wanda frequently spent overtime at the university, usually grading papers, working on lesson plans, meeting students after class and simply just being available if they needed it -- or if they needed someone to talk to. now, she wasn’t any kind of therapist but she knew how comforting it was to have someone available, even if all they did was sit in silence. these kids had a lot going on in their lives even if they weren’t planning on becoming heroes. the weight of being some kind of ‘legacy’ was a lot to carry -- not that she’d know, her parents had never put that on her, nor had she ever wanted to be magneto’s legacy. though, perhaps, she was whether she wanted to or not.

she felt a shuffling by the door and kept writing in her notepad ( which was open, a sign at how welcomed people were into her warm and cozy office ). “ you can come in, you know, “ wanda didn’t look up. a pause. “ come in, what can i do for you? “

ziva was sitting alone at the park, book in hand and earbud in one ear. she was trying to find some sort of peace, if that was possible. her abilities and emotions hadn’t really gone back to normal after her incident. charles said it was normal, that after such an extreme event it can take a long time for things to go back to normal -- or this new version of ziva and their powers is the new normal. so yeah, she was hoping being on her own and reading a book would help her feel a little calm.

she heard someone closeby, someone with a weirdly familiar voice.  “  sorry, but you just sound so familiar, do i know you?  “  she blurted out to the stranger, setting her earbud down on her book so she could pay attention to them.

gaea  is  ...  the  smell  after  it  rains,  dew  on  grass  in  the  early  morning,  a  garden  filled  with  every  flower  and  plant  you  could  imagine,  electricity  cracking  at  her  fingertips,  claws  retracted  from  each  hand  and  foot  with  blood  spilling  down  their  fingers,  naural  born  leadership,  streaks  of  white  ;  just  like  your  mother  and  every  woman  before  her,  a  passport  filled  with  stamps,  a  strive  for  perfection  that  even  your  parents  didn’t  put  there,  the  ability  to  command  a  room  by  your  presence  alone,  sparkly  eye  makeup,  painful  sadness  when  you’re  alone,  being  the  strong  leader  but  all  you  want  is  a  fucking  hug,  godhood  is  just  girlhood  ;  a  begging  to  be  believed.

ziva  naomi  dane-summers  ,  child  of  lorna  dane  &  alex  summers.  23  years  old.  demiwoman  &  she  /  her  pronouns.  bisexual?  graduate  student  studying  [TBA],  x-men  &  brotherhood  member.  yes,  she’s  doing  both.  it’s  complicated.  abilities  include  magnetism  manipulation,  metal  manipulation,  bio-iron  manipulation,  geokinetic  link  (  she  can  feel,  percieve  and  understand  it,  she  can  speak  to  the  earth  and  the  earth  can  respond.  they  communicate  ),  energy  absorption  (  she  can  absorb  almost  any  type  of  energy  and  convert  it  into  magnetism  and  use  it  in  whatever  way  she  wants  ),  also  trained  by  the  x-men  and  thus  is  very  trained  and  skilled  in  combat  and  martial  arts.  not  a  natural  born  leader  like  her  most  of  her  family  but  she  is  ruthless.  physical  mutations  :  emerald  green  hair,  tips  of  fingers  known  to  turn  a  slight  green  during  overuse,  glowing  green  eyes  when  using all  her  strength.

ziva  is  ...  mother  and  daughter  as  mere  images  of  each  other  -  grandfather  too,  star  of  david  necklace  under  her  shirt  and  against  her  heart,  blurry  memories  repressed  by  trauma,  green  energy  swirling  around  slender  fingers,  pouting  rain  followed  by  bolts  of  lightning,  a  spoon  bending  at  will,  emerald  green  hair  inherited  from  the  mother,  wanting  so  badly  to  slip  into  the  background,  conflict  between  good  and  evil;  what  they  want  and  what  you  need,  a  grief  in  your  chest  that  can  only  be  from  trauma  passed  down  through  every  generation  in  your  family,  a  newfound  anger  that  you  can’t  quite  get  rid  of;  it’s  bubbling  and  about  to  burst  right  out  of  you,  feeling  understood  by  the  one  person  your  mother  didn’t  want  you  to  be  like,  screams;  so  many  screams  (  every  time  you  close  your  eyes  you  can  feel  your  pain,  it  never  stops  ),  a  tiredness  you  shouldn’t  feel  at  such  a  young  age.
