bobo is so sweet :(( i love him

“when you were in junior high school, i was already in my second year at college. to the second year college student, junior high schoolers are kids. how terrifying.”

this is xiao zhan talking to zhang jingyi during a legend of zanghai bts. while this is true, and i guess, something that is really shocking when you think about it — i’m with all the cpfs right now who remembered how wyb responds when xz says this. compared to the others who just nod along and agree (because it’s the truth), our dear gremlin does his thing and denies that his xiao laoshi is older. or he partly agrees but then adds the fact that xz doesn’t look like his age at all. for the longest time, it’s a fandom favorite and was treated as wyb praising gg cause he likes him. also him not wanting the age gap to be a reason for their relationship to not work. or that it’s somehow an insecurity on wyb’s end, that he’s so much younger.

and while all of those may be valid or not, i also enjoyed the back and forth bickering they do when it comes to their age gap. sometimes yibo would tease xz ( sina visit ) and say his clear skin is because of his youth 😂😂😂

right now i’m actually thinking of how sweet yibo is. how earnest he was towards zz during that time. he must have known that zz thinks the age gap is a big deal. probably even used it as an excuse at some point to dismiss that anything was gonna happen between them. to be fair, yibo was so young when they filmed. barely out of his teenage years. i don’t blame xz. but yibo, with his straightforward personality & being earnest, just dismisses that. wdym you’re old? nope. doesn’t matter. they will make it work. and they did. in xz’s own way too, even if he always highlights like that, there are times that he does it to bobo’s benefit. especially when he says that yibo is his senior in the industry. these days tho, i don’t think this kind of talk is common between them anymore.

it’s so funny too how people were saying he was able to calculate this trivia so quickly cause he was going by him and wyb’s age gap. he just compared bobo’s age to zhang jingyi.

maybe he was aware of this kind of bjyx videos? lol. the first pic and the whole idea of the short video is “When my boyfriend asked me why I didn't meet him earlier” and then it will show why. in this case, it’s pretty easy to understand why. 😂😂😂

and i’m back! i’m gonna be working in a few hours but it’s okay cause i had fun with my vacation ☺️

and oh, so nice to come back to different hot search tags related to mermaid. there was some update on it’s profile, saying that other actresses included in the film are tang wei ( which was already heavily rumored before ) and huang duoduo ( huang lei’s daughter ) to play the mermaid (?). this project has been very mysterious, and is obviously one of the most anticipated movie release in the mainland for 2025. plus it’s wyb and cheng er’s second collaboration. with the first one being so successful, it’s no surprise that everyone is excited/curious.

jokes aside, i'm really grateful 'cause i can celebrate another important date with them again. after one of my high school best friends' passing away, i appreciate the fact that my dears are still alive and happy even more. life truly is short. i pray to god, or whatever deity is up there, that they are healthy and joyful every day and every moment.

just some 3.14 clues & clownery

another anniversary celebration for us! and the boys delivered by posting on their own social media accounts. xz on weibo and wyb on ig. i understand that wyb is on ig right now because he is abroad & he has not shared a dedicated post for loewe. but i’m also clowning that he is on there cause xz studio ig is very active with their posts related to WM’s release. i hope wyb has an ig side account to like and comment. lol.

let’s start with xz’s post and the most glaring candy. a photo of a cute dog with a bone “necklace” of his own. which probably remind him of bobo. imagine him taking this and sending it to bobo like — “look, it’s you!”

i really wish they can have their dog! but they are too busy right now. maybe someday in the future. and i’m thinking about how 3.14 is all about the romance, and if this was some fan service, he would share more selfies / thirst traps. but no. the first one is a dog. his gouzaizai.

then you have him posing with a 🪙 which is a Casa Batllo souvenir coin that you can find in the museum shop of Gaudi’s artistic building in Spain. we know went to Spain so he did visit this place. so how is this connected to candy? well, coin is 硬币 yingbi. YB. yibo. he was really showing it off cause it’s a live photo so you know it’s special.

lastly, in xz’s photoset there is one of a stained glass and it has the colors red, green and yellow! it represents us! because we celebrate 3.14 in a different way.

as for yibo’s side, the mushrooms are shown twice. the lamp + design. lamp is also red and green!

there’s also this photo. how is it relevant? well, it’s one that cpfs have been talking about for some time. saying that he chose to pose with the sculpture with red and yellow. even if there was a lot of green.

EDIT: adding this in cause i saw it too, this particular look he shared in the show reminds us of GG’s style! tod’s style!
