So, I finally did it. I made a Tumblr blog.

Trying to grow out of my hermit shell and explore social media more ... hopefully I'm not doing something erroneous as this is definitely something that is testing my innate sense of social avoidance. If so, I am open to constructive feedback from good faith actors.

Here goes ... something, I suppose.

Mostly I am here to stretch my comfort zone, explore topics of interest, and perhaps engage with like-minded people.

My interests include, non-exhaustively, the following subject categories:

STEM - particularly QED, astrophysics, and emerging technologies

Cybernetics - the control and communication of the animal & machine (or other systems)

Social, Environmental, & Economic Justice - including human rights, animal rights, diversity, inclusivity + accessibility, and mutualistic universal liberation

Creativity - especially as it pertains to visual arts & written word

SciFi/Fantasy

Secular Spirituality - particularly pantheistic & polytheistic perspectives, or other transcendental beliefs or experiences pertaining to either paganism or various sects of Eastern philosophies

Linguistics - not merely exclusive to language-learning in the Oral modality (I am Deaf/HoH)

...etc.

There may be more, though I am struggling to bring to mind any at this moment.

Oh, yes, right, ... that reminds me I should probably clarify that I am a Zillennial in case my age is a concern. (I know I sound strange though thanks to my neurodivergence & communication barriers)

Probably just going to use this to try to stay up-to-date on latest info & fascinating artistic works.

I tend to avoid using social media for myriad reasons but feel the need to try to see if this platform is more suitable for me.

I guess we'll see with time, however.
