My favorite thing ever is shipping Yukino with characters that are twice her height since she is TINY

I'm going to be remaking this blog. I’ll still be keeping my current relationships (Since my only ships are with Morgan lmao) but I’m going to be moving blogs.

The two panels I couldn’t go by quietly. As atrocious and barbaric it is, abuse and violence towards women was always a part of the horror of war. By pretending it doesn’t exist you are dishonest not only about war but also about the world.

I don’t like seeing Jenny beat up, restrained and down right paw by some grunts. And the sight of Yukino in such a sate hurts me internally. Not only they wound her, hurt her, tied her to a pole. They also striped her almost naked and chained her by her neck, pulling her around to the delight of some creeps.

However I fear Mashima is doing this to Yukino on purpose as a form of fanservice to the pervs that are reading this manga. This wouldn’t be the first time and I’m annoyed that Yukino always gets kick the puppy treatment. She is one of my favourite characters as well as the perfect combination of cute and alluring. If there is a character which role the anime team portrays much better than the manga it’s definitely Yukino. Also why all the women are barefoot in that scene!? I hope when this war blows over they will get comforted, not treated if nothing happened.

I partially blame Mavis for this. If she from the start treated the conflict with Alvarez not as a guild affair, but as an international affair (as it should be) this could have been avoided. If the other guilds were warned about the invasion they could have prepared for it and march together with Fairy Tail to defend their country. Because of Mavis giving in to emotions and her bad decisions, Yukino, Jenny and the others had to endure this. And we know it could have been much worse if this manga was aimed for an older demographic group.

do you realize what an important factor that cover page was? yukino finally trusts someone. she finally has people that she knows care for her. take that and compare it to how she was when we first met her, and look how much happier she is now.
