MV Crystal Sea is a 1968 Express Cruiser designed by William Garden and built at Philbrooks in Sydney BC.
She is 53′0″ LOA and 49′ at the waterline. Her beam is 16′6″ and she weighs 32 tons.
She is powered by twin 1968 Cummins V903 Turbo Diesels with each approaching 4300hrs.
She is built of Port Orford cedar, diagonally planked and epoxied, fastened with silicone bronze fasteners.
She carries 1100 gallons of diesel fuel and 360 gallons of fresh water.
She has two cabins, one with two singles and a full head with shower, and a master with a queen size and a full head with shower.
She sports a full-width saloon, an “apartment” style galley and a generous aft deck, partially covered, with engine controls.
She has a fully functioning Portuguese bridge with steering station and engine controls, and a large all glass pilothouse with seating and lounging space for 8.
