Nevada’s own Joshua Tree Forest rivals both California’s Joshua Tree National Park and Arizona’s Joshua Tree Preserve & Wildlife Habitat for sunrise and sunsets.

A very windy and dusty sunrise in the Mojave desert just outside Las Vegas Nevada.

Rocco and I drove out from Las Vegas to Zabriskie Point, Death Valley early in the mornin to catch the sunrise. Both of us were set up and ready to shoot 15 minutes ahead of schedule. It was a beautiful morning with one exception, the wind. Yet it played no factor. Shot for an hour, gathered our equipment then headed home.
