hey there heh, I just finished rereading CAS and got a bit inspired I guess?

(I dunno if for how long I wasn't there, more than a year for sure, literally a billion pf things changed for me by during time btw)

(Also I'm surprised i still remember how to draw her, I'm happy with them even though they turned out pretty bad)

Anyway, here they are, and you are getting a bunch of Lia facts today too (below the cut :D)

• Lia would grow her hair out since the beginning of the apocalypse, never cutting them (the day she got them partially burned along woth her back after a pretty serious explosion doesn't count)

• She always said she would cut them back the way they were as soon as things return back to normal (meaning Krangs gone, Earth rebuilt and everyone being back together)

• However she changed her plan in the process at least twice as she had her hair cut by Mikey maybe like week or two before the important battle and her death too, oops

• Mikey wasn't really happy as Lia was always known to enjoy having her hair long enough to braid them, and touching or braiding them helped her to relax for a bit. He also knew about her plan to cut them only when things were back to normal and considered her to no longer believe things could end up like that (he was partially right by the way)

•But as her hair were falling out because of stress and as she had no time to maintain to them anymore Mikey ended up doing Lia's haircut anyway. They even joked it was their quality+bonding time. (Btw, you ever wondered how turtles use scissors with such hands? I also didn't)

•Lia also joked that her hair would have grown back right to the needed length by the time they would win the war (they both never did)

•When everyone was eventually alive and together Lia decided not to cut her hair as things were still very different from how they were before. It didn't mean anything was wrong, just the other way around, but isn't it wonderful? Also you aren't obliged to complete any idea you got when you were a teenager

•She got a new tiny braid instead

Also if you're krang and you ever get a stare like below - you better run like CRAZY, as whole your team gonna get blown up in fucking seconds and you will regret your whole life

I decided to sketch Lia in some cool pose... And it ended like this :)

Unexpected coloring successfully happened

(She's not left-handed! She is strengthening her non-dominant hand! The image is mirrored! She's ambidextrous like all CAS characters! Any of these reasons, and this totally didn't happen because I forgot to check leading hand in the beginning :D)

By the way, here she's too young to have scars on her neck yet, but old enough to have a scar on her cheek. On normal human language this means "She's in her late twenties".

Alright, so...

💫The proper (maybe?) introduction time~💫

Meet Lia, part of the turtle family, the youngest one (one year younger than Mikey - currently 35 y.o.).

● Lia is part of the scientific group in the Resistance. Her occupation used to be biology and chemistry (mostly biology-related parts of it tbh). Unfortunately things changed when apocalypse started, and she began to help with medical work so medbay could cope with all of the survivors.

● She was a great help here in the beginning because of her interest in animals and mutants (and knowledge she had about their health)

● After some time when medbay wasn't so busy anymore and resource problems got far more crucial, Lia talked others into sending her on scouting missions. That scouting got longer, and longer, and longer, and finally turned into full-fledged rescue missions.

● Her main tactic to fight Krangs is deceiving and avoiding them. She would rather run from the fight as long as possible than try to eliminate the danger (she had to do a lot of exceptions though, and that tactic says nothing about Krang Hounds 💀)

● Lia is still able to fight! She's not a ninja, but a well-equipped medium/long distance fighter: her arsenal contains blaster, riffle (both energy-powered and made by Donnie) and explosive bombs (really strong ones, result of the collective work in lab)

●Lia's missions can take up to one year long due to their risky nature and caution applied because of it. The last one went terribly wrong though, and she went absent for literally 5 years

● Alongside rescue, Lia also fulfills such tasks as getting rare details from far away or researching samples or infected objects/living organisms/literally anything bio/chemistry related on her missions.

I also drew four outfits for her!

First is her home/training one. She wears it just while at the base, and amostly for training sessions. It's in pretty good condition because Lia rarely stays on the base for a long time. It was inspired by outfits of hamato clan, but doesn't have a symbol of it (because Lia is not Hamato)

Second is her lab coat, also for base only. She painted it with Mikey a very long time ago before invasion (she had to shorten it back when so she could wear it and don't get tangled). Now she is finally high enough to wear it full-length! Lia wears it while working in lab, sometimes even when it isn't necessary. This piece of clothing can motivate her to work or just lighten her mood.

Third is her travel coat! It's the most worn out one, because she literally spends months in it. Pretty long and warm, with a lot of POCKETS! and equipped with belt for her riffle and explosives and other necessary things.This is her third travel coat so far (she overgrew and wore out the first one, and the second got burned.)

The last is, em... A kind of really serious combat outfit? Lia herself doesn't know what it is for. Donnie made it for her after one accident, but she never put it on for long missions. It sure has some useful technical stuff in it, like a speaking device and some kind of camera for footage, but it is just too heavy for long jorneys... So Lia supposes it is for some special mission. And I suppose it may turn uncanon (uncanon in headcanon haha) one day because it looks too resource-consuming in apocalypse reality...

Alriiiight I typed this post yesterday while I was waiting for CAS update :D

Here are the very first drawings of Lia I made like a month ago ^_^

Yeah, they were drawn on two messy paper sheets and then colored in IbisPaint

These are pictures of how she looked like when she met turtles for the first time (she was 11 back when), and how she looked like at different ages post-invasion (in apocalypse :D). Lia is one year younger than Mikey, so if I counted everything correctly we are currently at the 35-years-old stage. (She may look younger though, because she ages pretty slow and because I drew her so unintentionally).

(Some sudden background information there - meeting turtles at the age of 11 totally turned her life for like 180°. Back when she was living with a very controlling guardian (who besides had some unpleasant plans on her), never left their house for somewhere further than the house yard, had very limited knowledge about the outside world and, of course, never met other teenagers. So, if you take 4 mutant turtles, 1 really curious isolated from the world girl and 1 screwy guardian-scientist, mix it all together for like a month, you will get a new person living in a turtle lair. 100% reliability, proved on practice. )

I'm also gonna post her in different outfits later (some kind of ref I guess?), and make a proper introduction maybe?

I want to tell so much about her I don't even know where to start and how to do it T_T

Part 2, I guess

Also, one thing I forgot to say. This girl is kind of a scientist (herself haha), and used to work with Donnie in lab for some time. The thing is, her science area is mostly biology, and she doesn't know tech or programming stuff as good as Donnie does. It's a challenge for her to look through his notes, but she still tries her best to understand and use them.

Her name is Lia by the way, and here she is trying desperately to help with defeating Krang after Donnie's death. As you'll see, she failed :(
