As of now BAP’s TRAINCE is still going to air. Only promotions have been cancelled.

BAP members post and delete stuff on sns from time to time - as we all do - I personally don’t think it goes any deeper than that

I’m really only going to say this once more - consequence follows action, but actions must be proven. That’s how the law works in most places, including SK. So you’ll excuse me if your prejudment of someone I’ve loved and respected for years holds zero weight with me.

Finally, I’m sure all us fans wish we could be absolutely sure about their well-being, but all the boys have friends and family who will take care of them. They also have each other - so we can take comfort in that ^^

In the midst of it all

It is important to remain calm and to do the difficult… wait. Waiting is the best form of support because it hurts to have people jump to conclusions and immediately “cancel” you or accuse you of something that people still aren’t clear exactly what happened. It is unfair to start pointing fingers.

Waiting, however, is not ignoring the situation. It is not victim blaming or being blinded by bias. It is keeping calm when anger, rile and hysteria can lead to mob behavior and make things worse than they can be.

It is hypocritical of people to be anything but neutral. If you only blindly support Himchan, you’re ignoring human nature. If you blindly support the victim, you’re forgetting that you aren’t a party to the circumstances and quite frankly, know nothing about the situation. Sexual harassment is not a joke. For people to say things like “he’s a terrible person” is libel, and defamation. For people to say the victim did it for attention is a slap to the face for victims who are already scared to ask for help.

I believe in B.A.P and their characters. I believe that if something did happen, they would own up to it. I appreciate Himchan for being cooperative with the police. I believe that the group is adopting their leader’s “silence is better than bullshit” policy. Regardless of what happens, let’s not fuel the fire until we know with more certainty what is going on and what had transpired.

These are delicate times for an already fragile fandom. Please understand everyone has ways of coping so do not hide under the anonymous gray button to spread hate or distasteful comments and opinions. If you have something to say, reveal yourself and say it without fear of backlash but open up to reasonable conversation.

What the hell?!

Sexual assault/harassment is always a serious accusation and generally I am firmly of the opinion that any victim of it needs all the support the world can give.

That being said…

Please keep in mind, fellow babyz, that we don’t have much to go on at the moment. Yes, TS actually released a statement (including names) but besides that the media is running on empty fumes so far. They have no actual facts or proof or whatever. All we know, all we need to know right now is that the stories of both involved parties are conflicting and that Himchan (I did not see that coming…) is cooperating with the police which is a good sign. The stories do not match so there is still a possibility for it to turn out false. So until we know more…

Let’s keep calm and supportive until there’s actual proof. Trust in B.A.P - they have never led us astray until now. 💖
