Review of CLAW ANC7 Active Noise Cancelling Earphones
Whether you commute to work or travel in public transit, an excellent noise-canceling earphone can brighten your day, make your music and world a little more enjoyable. At present, there are lots of noise-canceling headsets available in the market, but very few available at a budget price.
A couple of months back, CLAW launched its ANC7 Active Noise Cancelling Earphones in India with a range of features. Instead of turning up the volume to block the external noise, this CLAW earphone isolates and removes the unwanted sound while preserving the original audio output.
As per the company claims, this earphone can reduce environmental sounds by up to 97 percent. Having said that, we had CLAW ANC7 for few days and here’s what we think about it.

The Claw ANC7 is the latest additions to the Claw family of in-ears. At 22.8grams, the earphones are made of an aluminum alloy which should add a degree of durability. It has a dual in-line remote – one housing the active noise canceling and monitoring mode buttons, and the other with microphone and buttons to control the volume, playback and call functions.
The ANC module has a sleek finish with Claw branding. It feels heavy most of the time mainly due to the 95mAh built-in battery. At the bottom, there is a micro USB port for charging the module as well. The cable quality is decent if not great and looks like it can endure some rough handling. With the earphones, users will also get multiple sized ear-tips, ear-hooks and a travel pouch as well.
Performance

The entire earphone unit sits snug inside your ear, and the flat outer shell ensures that it has an extremely low profile. The one-meter rubber cable doesn’t look premium but doesn’t tangle as well. Talking about the performance, the audio quality was good for the price. The mids are crisp and clear, vocal sounded warm and could clearly understand the lyrics as well. It has the right amount of bass too.
The USP of this earphone — ANC works very well in reducing the ambient noise, which in turn boosts the sound. There is ‘Monitor’ mode, which allows you to hear ambient noise around you upon pressing the button. It helps you to have conversations without taking your earbuds. These pair of earphones can get loud as well. The call quality over the mic is good.

Conclusion
Overall, the CLAW ANC7 is a good Active Noise cancellation earphones at a price of Rs. 3,990. It has a minimal design, offers good audio experience, good Noise cancellation and of course battery life as well. It is available through online and retail channels. You can get it from at Rs. 3590 on Amazon.in after Rs. 400 instant discount.

Claw J3 earphones: An excellent pair of budget in-ear headphones
“Our take on FUTURE’s latest IEM — the CLAW J3”
Smartphones with a 3.5mm interface have become somewhat of a rarity nowadays, but that hasn’t deterred the sales of in-ear type headphones sporting the beloved analog jack. In fact, we’re seeing more new faces in the market, especially in the budget category which unsurprisingly drives the most volumes in the country. Case in point, Mumbai-based FUTURE, which recently announced the CLAW J3 earphones in India. I was sent a unit for review and after spending some time with it, I think the pair can carve a niche for the brand in the cut-throat segment. Here’s why.
Design and comfort
One of the biggest arguments I’ve heard against a pair of budget earphones is that they seldom stand the test of time. However, off late, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality of sub-Rs 1K earphones. The Realme Buds, for instance, were quite well and the CLAW J3 is no different. Not only are the casings for the earpieces metal, but the TPU wire has been reinforced by an anti-winding layer as well, which feels extremely durable and sturdy. So long as you’re not deliberately rubbing the cable on a rough surface, the CLAWS J3 will last you a long, long time.

While the CLAW J3 gets top marks in the durability department, the earphones sport a fairly forgettable design and look the part of a generic headset. Thankfully, in the case of earphones, you can get away with a boring design as long as the product delivers in the sound department.
What is essential, however, is that the earphones sit well in your ears. To that extent, I haven’t had any issues with the fit of the CLAW J3 during my time with the pair. The earphones sport angular ear tips which form a secure seal in the ear and isolate most, if not all the background noise. Rest assured, you will be able to listen to music for hours on end without noticing any discomfort of ear fatigue with the J3’s.
What’s more, unlike some budget offerings, the CLAW J3 also ship with an in-line remote control which is handy for taking calls on the go and switching between different tracks. Kudos to the FUTURE for not cutting any corners here.
Sound quality
The CLAW J3 ships with a pair of dynamic drivers positioned inside each earpiece which can operate across a frequency of 20Hz to 20KHz. As far as the overall sound quality is concerned, I find the J3s to be the perfect marriage between the bass-heavy Realme Buds and the finely-tuned Soundmagic ES18s. Consequently, you’ll get an enjoyable low-end response which sounds tight and impactful without overpowering the rest of the frequency spectrum.
The sound signature of the J3 earphones definitely sways towards the warmer side, which was evident when I was listening to tracks like Billie Eilish’s Bury A Friend wherein, the beats and the vocals took centre stage. But, unlike the other budget IEMs, the J3 sounded more nuanced and intricate in their delivery, which can be accredited to the IEM’s stellar imaging. Let me put it this way – while I was tapping my feet joyously to the beats of the track, I could tell that there were other instruments at play (no pun intended) too. The screeches in the singer’s voice and the different sound effects were relayed just as clearly to my ears as the thumps from the kick drums.
As for the highs, I was more than content with the way the CLAW J3 reciprocated songs from the metal/rock genre. Artists like Guns n Roses and The Killers were more than listenable on the IEMs, and you’ll find very little to complain about the unit’s treble output – there was no shrillness so to speak and even at relatively higher volumes, chaotic tracks rarely ever sounded like a garbled mess.
Verdict
It’s baffling how good the CLAW J3 sounds, given the pair’s relatively inexpensive MRP of just Rs 799. Moreover, I was immensely pleased with the unit’s design too, which albeit generic, will undoubtedly last prospective buyers a while. Add to that the listening comfort and you’ll get your money’s worth and more should you end up buying the CLAW J3 earphones.

For the price, the IEM goes up against earphones like the Sennheiser CX180, the Realme Buds, and the Soundmagic ES18s. While each pair of earphones has its own set of strengths, buyers looking for a balanced sound output which is also fun to listen t,o should pick up the CLAW J3 in a heartbeat.
Editor’s rating: 4 / 5Pros
Robust build
Good sound quality
In-line remote control
Cons
Generic design

FUTURE Claw J3 Earphones Review
Regardless of the situation, place, and surroundings, a bit of music can add joy or even inspire you in life. If you are looking for earphones, chances are you’re not happy either with your phone capabilities or bundled earphones.
That said, audio enthusiast literally has dozens of options available in all possible form factors and at all price points. Amid the True wireless earbuds and Bluetooth headphones, the in-ears are indeed making a comeback. Mumbai-based FUTURE recently launched the CLAW J3 earphones in India targeting the entry-level. We’ve been testing it out for a few weeks and here’s what we think.
Design
Most of the headphones under Rs. 1000 doesn’t hold well when it comes to design. However, Claw J3 is an exception. At this price point, this has got to be the most impressive pair of earphones. On the design front, it looks minimal yet solid and it has a 1.2m soft Anti-Winding TPE cable making it much more durable and reliable. It comes with different sized earbuds (S/M/L) inbox to fit your ears.
The driver chambers are made of metal and are very durable, which is a surprise considering the low price. It’s worth mentioning that, the entire earphone unit sits snug inside your ear and the flat outer shell ensures that it has an extremely low profile. Furthermore, the Y-splitter on the cable also has a look of the metal casing, which seems to be purely for aesthetics.
Moreover, an in-line remote can be found on the right side. We found the buttons hard to press down, more so if you are trying to reach them in the middle of an activity.
Sound quality
Coming to the audio quality, these headphones offer fairly good audio quality with a good amount of bass. With Claw J3, the company has opted for 10mm audio drivers that have a frequency range of 20Hz – 20KHz. We tried it with various devices including POCO F1, OnePlus 6T (with connector) and Pixel 3.
Since the CLAW J3 is designed with high bass-driven sound technology we had an idea on how it sounds. The Claw J3 earphones produce bass that it overpowers the mids and highs on especially on OnePlus 6T, but balances well between on MacBook Air. Having said that, these pair of earphones can get really loud as well. The call quality over the mic is good if not great.
FUTURE has done a good job with the Claw J3 earphones and these are one of my favorites in the entry-level segment. It is designed and marketed to be bass-heavy, and we found the claim to be true. Having said that, it won’t appeal to everyone.
At Rs. 790, the earphones are comfortable and offers sound great. And if you enjoy some thump in your music, Claw J3 is a good option for the price they command. It comes in Gold, Black, and Silver option and is available on Amazon India.

Claw A2 review: A tiny novelty speaker that actually performs well
This miniature speaker designed like an old television performs much better than expected.
Novelty Bluetooth speakers have been available since years and while most of them offer a cute design, they are limited to just looks and their performance are usually found to be lacking.
Claw has recently announced the A2, a novelty speaker that looks, unlike anything that’s available seen in recent memory. The brand has designed it to look like a retro TV complete with the chrome accents and the bunny ear antennas. Surprisingly, these speakers pack quite a punch.
The Claw A2, as mentioned earlier, is designed to look like a retro TV, albeit a tiny miniature version of a TV that was popular in the 60s and 70s. The televisions at the time we're able to display colors in just Black and White and it appears that the brand aims to mimic this design by adding silver accents on the speaker grille upfront.
Like televisions of the time that came with very few buttons, the Claw A2 too has just a single multi-function button, on the right, for power and play/pause tracks, as well as answer/reject calls.
The speaker which is the size of a paperweight is made predominantly out of plastic with the multi-function button and a rubber flap for the USB charging port. The Claw A2 is available in three color options — Black, White, and Blue; with each of them having its own charm.
During tests, it has to be said that the speaker was well received amongst almost everyone who witnessed it. Most of those who appreciated the speaker said that it was “cute” and how and where could they purchase it.
We tested this speaker with a range of iPhone handsets as well as a few Androids and the performance was consistent throughout. Sporting Bluetooth v4.2, the range of the Claw A2 is pretty impressive as it can be as far as 10 meters from the source without loss of signal. The speaker hosts a 3W driver which is pretty loud for such a tiny size. And what’s really refreshing is that the audio quality is pretty solid especially since most novelty speakers available don’t offer either as boom sounds or great audio experience. Not that the bass here is heavy, but is pretty prominent and fair.
We tested these speakers with popular genres including pop, hip-hop, and EDM and each track were handled well. However, at max volume, some distortion was audible, but not as much that we had to dock points off it. Truth be told this is a fun speaker that performs pretty strongly and it will appease most people. But, it has to be said that it’s not audiophile-grade and neither is it pretending to be. What you get here is a great speaker that is meant for casual listening for alone-time music listening or to entertain a group of few friends on a trip away. The speaker is purely meant to serve alongside your bedside table or on your office/study desk when you want to have some pleasing music or wanna quickly run through some YouTube / Facebook videos.
The battery life is decent and it’s rated at 4.5 to 5 hours at 100 percent volume. While we found this to be accurate, what actually concerns was that the 1000mAh battery takes a whole 3 hours to top up. Fast charging would have been appreciated here.
The price of the Claw A2 is listed at Rs 1,290, but it's available online for just Rs 990. For those of you who want a cute speaker that can actually perform what it declares, then the Claw A2 should definitely not be missed. The A2 is an ideal speaker for anyone who wants a novelty device and as a desk mate. Also, the Claw A2 can be used as a laptop or tablet companion as it can offer a much better audio experience than what most those speakers can offer. Either way, this a great speaker that will definitely win over everyone who sees it. Great for gifting to kids, elders, bosses and all those who appreciate novelty items. Also, buy from Amazon.
