Fencing Room

Imagine you walk down a hall which leads to a staircase. Next to it is a bell to ring on a table. Curiosity takes you and you ring. Sudenly, one member of the fencing club jumps at you and accepts your duel. Throws you a cord and start dueling with you. It is now that you notice that on the other side, on the wall to be more specific is gear for fencing.

Mirror room

For curious visitors, you can follow the mirror hexagons which leads you through the mirror into the Mirror room. Here you can make funny faces and get some positivity boost.

Those, who want to feel like a movie star, can try any make up and try a new look.

You can always take your smile with you and borrow one of the small mirrors on the wall.

Hello and welcome to my little project, where I can pretend I am not poor and I can indeed afford to buy a mansion in a size of Tardis.

For this reason I made a LIST of rooms from my imaginary house and I shall visual of each of those as much as possible. There might be even more rooms later, depending on my brain.

Why? Because life is short and work is mostly boring.

So...imagine this.

You are invited for a lovely visit to a new adress. You open the first ornamental gate - it is locked only during night, dont worry :-).

Infront of you are beautiful brown old-fashion door with guardins you can use to knock. Or if you dare, you can try ringing on the scary doorbell with shiney eye and cheesy scary sounds. Not really necessary for you, since you have keys from me, but you know. As the old saying goes - do it for the lols and giggles.

Not sure if it was raining but you can always use the doormat for your shoes.

Welcome room

A place, for every stuff can be put at first when somebody comes. Why it should be an ordinary entryway when it can do so much more? I would even write it on the wall. A positive neon message on the wall, that is usually more colourfull during night that welcomes every visitor. And so much more...

An amphora for umbrellas! Hands for holding small bags! Carts for big bags! Trees for holding coats, hooks for your hats! A bit hotel vibes but still very cosy :-)

There is even a special shoe washing machine because nobody likes dirt on the floor.

Even better - charge station for any phone!

Then you can swap your clean shoes for slippers and check if there is any mail.

Probably not yet, but I am still ready and prepared if you will get any.

There are some keys with wings on the wall but those are as decoration. Real keys has their own hooks on wall because it is better than a bowl. I shall die on this hill for this opinion, btw.

In case you would want to take someone with you, I even have door for kids and pets, so each one of you has their own door.

I recently found out, that making a list of aesthetics is pretty relaxing. I have been inspired by the list of all the floors from Willy Wonka elevator. The list is floating somewhere here on Tumblr but I am too lazy to look it up cause I am on my phone.

Anyway. It inspired me to create a list of rooms I would like to have at home. Then I was thinking that I could definitelly make a new project by making aesthetic posts as inspiration for future wealthy me and for other people who actually own a home and can get it irl.

So here it is. It is not complete and I will probably add more rooms.

I am thinking about a big upgrade of my room because otherwise, with the house prices, I might have enough money for a small wooden box in 50 years. Which means living with parents who disagree with any change in literally any other room. So, I decided to make it a proper transformation.

Problem n. 1: I want to use as much stuf I own as possible.

Problem n. 2: I like too many and very different kinds of aesthetics.

You see my problem now? Yeah. So, logically, I started to collect inspiration from too many webs. And dear readers, I did it. With the power of fandoms, I found my perfect aesthetics.

It is Chronicles of Shannara, Portal 2, Horizon Zero Dawn and Overwatch.

A combination of magic and technology. Our technological world many many many years later, where the nature overtook over the old technology and stuff. But some of the old stuff is still functional.

Now is the real challenge, to start the first draft to my irl room.

i learned of “Box beds” – cabinets with beds in them and, sometimes, lockable doors – were used for privacy and safety in parts of rural medieval Europe before individual bedrooms were common. They became fashionable even in homes with bedrooms and remained in use in Scotland into the 1900s (x)
