RELATIONSHIP WITH BLACKPINK

JISOO
Jisoo is Minsu's inspiration in many ways. They have similar senses of humor and get along quite well. Minsu always asks for Jisoo's autograph on any new BLACKPINK items.
JENNIE
Jennie had been in the company the longest, and had become somewhat a mentor figure during the group's trainee days. Minsu always makes sure to comfort Jennie when she notices any online hate. Jennie seems to appreciate Minsu's knitted gifts the most, so she gives Jennie more of her finished projects than anyone else.
ROSÉ
Chaeyoung and Minsu are eating buddies. If either of them hear of a new restaurant they want to try, they can invite the other. They bonded first over their love of food and shared environment, but the two grew a much stronger friendship over the years together.
LISA
The first time they met, Minsu was rather offended because Lisa didn't talk very much, so she assumed that Lisa was stuck up or rude. Minsu didn't know it was due to a lack of Korean skills until much later. After knowing the full story, she was much more open to Lisa. The two eventually became closer as they worked together for BLACKPINK.

BIRTHDAY: May 8, 1997
POSITION: lead rapper, lead dancer, sub vocalist
BACKGROUND: Minsu was born in Seoul, South Korea. From a young age, she was interested in dancing. Before long, she'd decided that she wanted to be like the idols she saw on TV or heard on radios. Minsu was the type of person who knew what she wanted from life very early on. In 2012, at the age of 15, Minsu began auditioning for entertainment companies. She soon was accepted into YG. After years of training, she finally debuted with BLACKPINK.
