Ok so Darcy smearing Musa’s lipstick with her thumb to mess it up and Musa just blushes and stutters

Just good old hair pulling and then Maybe with Musa’s long ponytails

Darcy’s finger under Musa’s chin to make her look at her if yk what i mean

Darcy is in my head the one who flusters Musa but you can also turn the ideas around if you want

Now i have no brain cells left but i love the way you draw 💋

I've noticed you are using SAI but the lighting of your illustrations are so good !!! Do you have some tips for me ???

Hi! I'm glad you like it! Thank you! I’m not the best at giving tips, but this is my small and rough tutorial:

I usually use a Multiply layer for shadows, a Shine layer for light, and then add rendering and details on top of everything.

You can experiment with different light sources and colors for both shadows and highlights, depending on the mood.

The most important thing is references! From studying lighting tutorials to analyzing how other artists handle light — that helps the most.

Your art is very pretty! But please I must ask- why do you draw Flora, an originally Hispanic coded character with a noticeable tan, so pale compared to how she originally looks ^^,?

Genuinely not trying to be rude or insinuate anything! But I wanted to bring that up since she's been whitewashed quite a bit by different adaptations over the years and maybe you only have seen one where she's whitewashed?

Anyway, genuinely no hate or shade from me!! If you'd like to DM me to discuss this then feel free, I'm not trying to publicly shame you or anything, just wanna bring up that Hispanic representation and character origins is important yknow?

I want to say that I had absolutely no intention of misrepresenting Flora’s background. I understand how important accurate and respectful representation is.

I’ll try to reflect her skin tone more accurately in my future work. I’m always learning, and I really appreciate you taking the time to point this out in such a thoughtful way.

silly headcanons about Winx characters’ home planets (part 1)

Linpheans rarely say, “I love you”. to them, it does not encapsulate the depth of their devotion properly.

instead, they use words that are much more… “poetic.”

for example, Bloom would casually thank Flora for helping her apply a salve to a burn of hers:

”thanks, Flo, love ya!”

and Flora would earnestly reply:

“My soul, I would part with my liver sooner than I would part with you.”

which… intense for us, Eartherns, but for Linpheans — love is not something to be treated casually.

among Linphean vernacular: “my soul”, referring to any one person you love; “my liver”, when referring to a friend you cannot live without; “my sun/moon/flower”; “my pillar”. also, when talking about a couple: “those, who were fated by the stars”.

(fun fact, all of these are real terms of endearment I took from my language <3)

she is very openly affectionate with her girls, but it takes her a bit of time to start acting similarly with the boys.

Helia and Timmy are decently well-travelled/well-learnt, so they know of this Linphean custom and are not surprised. Nabu absolutely returns the same energy to her.

Brandon just kinda takes it at face value (“you are my lifetime, friend” “👍”).

but Sky and Riven are absolutely bamboozled by how sweet Flora is, and try to awkwardly reciprocate.

like, Flora patches Riven up after a battle, and pats him on a back with:

“let the rivers of our lives cross together into an ocean forevermore, my golden friend.”

and Riven looks more scared than he ever was fighting goddamn Valtor, and whispers:

“you smell very nice?..”

Riven is obviously uncomfortable being as vulnerable and affectionate as she, so he resorts to using sweet nicknames (a-la “dove”, “love”, “sunshine”) and giving Flora compliments.

Sky is also unused to this level of affection, so whenever he is forced deal with it — he just malfunctions. literally dissociates. cannot reply for a solid twenty minutes.

He does think it’s very sweet though, so he starts taking care of Flora like a little sister. making sure she always has a little snack on a mission, giving her his jacket when it’s cold out, importing rare flowers for her, etc.

after a couple of years together, the winx and the specialists adopt this way of expressing endearment into their vernacular, and confuse the shit out of everybody else.

My small offering for blicy for it is rotting my brain since March.

What if lcy could make ice sculptures of people? But how she feels about them matters. How strong she feels about them,the better the sculpture looks.

Those who she does not care are often faceless and have missing details. Those who she cares about, like Darcy and Stormy, would immediately be a clear and detailed ice statue if she intends to make one of them.

And it's not only care, it could be hatred and obsession driving the clarity of the sculpture.

lcy is not sane here. Her state of mind is clouded from her obsession with bloom.

She's confused and conflicted. I don't know how to write them so forgive me.

I am also still rewatching winx, so I don't know much about their abilities or if icy has done this.
