Hello. I made this House Finch. I used a reference from Pinterest. It was honestly a bit harder than the peacock. I enjoyed it though. Also I added metallic cuz I can't help it and i need metallic stuff on everything

Did a peacock sketch with a reference from Pinterest. It was kinda hard but i enjoyed it. I used alcoholic markers, a black water based sharpie, a metallic gold oil base sharpie, prisma, some silver metallic pens, a white gel pen and a pigma sensei pen. But I love the shiny bits. I always have to use mettalic stuff. I just have to.

Was experimenting with perspective and decided to draw heaven. Or how I imagined it. I like the idea of orangish gold and icey blue color with golden rings on the surface. I just had fun. And then I flipped it. It looks like the cross and a sword. That's nice.

What types of digital brushes do you go for ! Like do you prefer anything with texture/ridges or do you just work with a standard set? I always feel like my art HAS to have texture but I'm never happy w a brush for long lol

I prefer brushes with fun shapes or textures! Rake brushes, triangle brushes, textured blending brushes, etc. If the brush is too smooth I just end up getting too stressed about "perfect lines" or blending everything into oblivion (which is unsatisfying for me).

My favourite (ClipStudio) brushes:

Realistic Ballpoint Pen: I use a ballpoint pen for sketching traditionally and this feels so close. Its my go to for sketching digitally. I’ve use it for lineart occasionally and it has a fun rough look.

SQUARE: square brush is the love of my life

You know those aesthetic image posts that float around tumblr? I'm . . . starting to see a lot on my dash that are obviously ai-generated. Are non-artists having trouble telling the difference between AI images and real photos, or are people starting to stop care about the stolen art that gets fed into those programs?
