The painting class has been quite an exciting adventure. I took as a way to escape the harsh and relentless assignments of other strenuous classes on my schedule. It was an oasis, I enjoyed coming to class and painting. I like the idea of being able to experiment with our projects, having some control over my assignments. It was a pleasant change from my other courses, one I do not regret.
I learned more than I thought, I didn’t think I would. I thought painting was easy, just stokes on a canvas, but it is much more complex. I learned values, shading, strokes, types of paint and canvas, different techniques I will carry on as I continue to paint.
Blogging was a fun way to let others see my work and also to see what others were doing in our class. There were times I forgot to blog, but it was a simple enough task that I could keep tract and keep my account up to date.
Painting was a grand choice for me, I’m very happy to have experienced it.
