“Me and Marco recently did an acoustic set for Genelec Speakers in Munich. In a boiling hot room with not much oxygen available, we played our versions of Pink Floyd’s “Money” and Jethro Tull’s “Locomotive Breath” with just pipes and guitar (!) and they went down a storm. We had a splendid laugh. We were then dragged off for a long drive to do a full band show that same night. Oh, and it is worth mentioning that the car park for this venue had special parking spaces that were just a bit wider than normal, especially for women!!! speechless …”

Personally, in the penultimate track “Song Of Myself”, the fourth song called “Love”, is a six and a half minute poem where more than 20 people recite a small part. I think it’s my personal highlight on the album. At first, the hodgepodge probably sounds weird, but I think somehow we managed to capture the core of life and love as I personally understand it. I had the idea to gather the people closest to the band. Everybody could choose a few of their nearest and dearest to cite a couple of words or sentences that make up the collage. Even as an idea, it’s something that still gives me goosebumps.
