Jinbe is with Froakie because when it evolves into Greninja, it uses very compressed water to attack, just like Jinbe! (Yes, I know I didn’t add Jinbe’s coat, but Froakie’s pose was too good)

As for Chopper, he has Bulbasaur because when it evolves into Venasaur, it has a tree on its back that almost looks like what Chopper’s doctor was achieving…and also the fact that Grass Types are known to heal!
