In love with all things regarding Marvel. Classic rock is how I roll. Nintendo and Playstation are happiness. Good Omens makes me scream (I still want more!). In love with The Mandalorian, haven’t seen it all yet. Electrical Engineering Technology is my major and I work for a small space company. Writing is one thing I do best (but haven’t done in a long time, thanks college). My book collection continues to grow despite not having the time to read. Crochet keeps the arthritis at bay. I'm a flannel, random notes on my arms, and would prefer to be outdoors type of gal. Check out my photography blog at mysticalphotographgoblin.

“You should have just let me die,” the hero says as they stare at the ceiling, voice barely a whisper. The bed they’re lying in is hard and unfamiliar. Figures that even the villain’s infirmary would be shitty.
“And lose the satisfaction of killing you myself?” the villain replies from the bed next to the hero.
“It costed you though,” the hero says. They’re trying really hard not to think about it, but images of the villain getting their legs crushed keep flooding their mind.
“You think too little of the capabilities of my medical team. We’re much better than that team of idiots you have running around at your place.”
“It’s going to cost you more, you know,” the hero is trying really hard to stop their voice from shaking. It’s difficult. It’s difficult just having this conversation. They never would have imagined them being in this situation at all. Not in a million years. “They really want me dead.”
“Well, we’ll see about that.”
There’s a long silence after that.
The hero isn’t sure what to say. What are they even supposed to do? Are they supposed to thank the villain? Apologise? What are you even supposed to do when your enemy saves you from people you never thought you needed saving from?

I’m still alive, I swear. College has taken my time, and while I’m not done, I’m nearly there. Did my first crochet blanket, fish, and another blanket. Crossed hip surgery out of my book, but worth it.
I’ve made my home with a great group of people at a little radio station in the middle of Michigan Tech. And I wouldn’t trade the last few years for anything.

Excerpt from, a story I'll never finish #2
I looked at the man in the road. His armor reflected the sun's light, his sword lay at his side, still in its scabbard, his traveling pack was carelessly discarded a few yards away. But there was no mistake that he was dead. His red blood stained the gray cobblestone road. Attacked from behind. He must've known his attacker, or he didn't even know he was there. I stared down from the neighboring hill, wondering what the man had done to deserve to die. I wondered how long he had been down there. Maybe if I had come by earlier, he might not have bled out on the road.

Excerpt from a story I'll never finish #1
Imagination is a form of art, you have to be creative for your mind to build the story you dream of. There is essentially no limit to one's imagination. We need not fear what others think, we must only think for ourselves. Write that of which we have failed to hear, bring into light that of which has been left in the darkness, for the man who dreams is a thousand times stronger than the man who feared what others thought.
Swirling murals that come to life when you walk past them on the streets. If you listen closely, you can hear the story they're meant to tell. Chalk artists with work so realistic it peels itself from the pavement. Books that come to life when you read them. And dreams so vivid and creative they seep into reality. In a world of ordinary people, it's okay to be extraordinary, it's okay to be different. To create what hasn't been created.

If you’re someone who wants to make original stuff for people to see, DO IT!!!
Your worth as an artist is not determined by the number of Tumblr notes you get. Followers are NOT a currency. Don’t worry about instant gratification, because you’re creating something only you can own for the rest of your life! It will take you longer to build up an audience around something that doesn’t have a pre-loaded fanbase. In fact it’ll probably take longer than you think, but you’ll have a much more satisfying artistic career.

Prompt #2
My story doesn't start with an epic super villain fight scene like in the movies. Or a flashback to the 90s, nor some bad guy watching me on the news while planning revenge.
My story doesn't even start with an epic song. Which by the way, is insanely stupid. Everyone knows that the best superhero stories start with epic background music. Just look at Marvel. They do it right.
To say that my story starts in the middle of a fight scene with my fist connecting to a bad guys jaw while AC/DC blares in the background would be a lie. That would be cool. But sadly that's not the case.
Here's how it all started:
Family dinner with my mom and two older brothers. Yep, four enhanced, super humans sitting around one table fighting over bread rolls and pie. But then again, it is mom's special Blackberry Lemonade Pie. What could possibly make this pie so good that three grown guys are fighting over it? For starters, it's homemade, and the recipe is a secret, nothing found online even comes close to tasting as good as mom's, what makes it so good is unknown to anyone other then her.
Everyone is happily eating and chatting with each other, music is softly playing from the stereo in the next room, everything is good. After eating and socializing for a couple hours, my brothers and I say goodnight and goodbye before heading our separate ways.
*******
Now, my story might seem boring right now, but I promise on the River Styx it gets better. It gets way better.
**Two days later**
I flop on my bed still in costume, exhausted from the long day not only at work, but my other persona. Tiredly I pull my mask free from my face and throw it in a corner, I can't even find the willpower to take the suit off or take my contacts out, let alone get up to get dinner. As much as I hate to admit it, I got my ass kicked tonight. I know for a fact that my bottom lip is split and bleeding, blood pouring from my broken nose, bruises on my face and pretty much my entire body for that matter.
My phone lights up and I quickly snatch it and text my eldest brother; you better have a damn good reason for this. A villain? Are you freakin insane?
If you use this prompt in a story, please tag me, it's an original idea I came up with myself.

Hi! I see A LOT of otp prompts on tumblr but it's so hard to find platonic ones. If you don't mind, do you think you can make some sibling and parental prompts?
Thanks 🍒
HI :)
Here are some prompts and some dialogue for siblings and then parents. (I know you requested found family in another ask as well, but I will come to it later under that ask.)
Siblings Prompts
teasing and bantering on a daily basis
importance of being the older one
not wanting to be compared to each other by parents, teachers, etc.
secretly kinda comparing themselves
a lot of inside jokes
getting each other just by looking at each other
sitting next to each other and sending each other memes and texting this is you
annoying each other but loving each other dearly
knowing when the other one is down and trying to annoy them just to get their mind of what made them sad or anxious
Dialogue
“I will go first. I’m the older one!” “You don’t have to tell me, everyone can see that.”
“Oh, you really messed up. Can I be there when you tell mom and dad?”
“That’s not what you wrote in your diary...”
“And this is why mom loves me more.”
“Oh, you think you’re so funny, aren’t you?”
“Mom! They don’t want to give me the remote!” “You’re both in your twenties, learn to handle it yourself!”
Existing prompts
Babysitting your younger sister is hard enough in itself. But when your sister is not like normal kids and it’s possible that she could just float away like a helium-filled balloon, it’s hell. (#296)
Write a story about playing Mario Cart. Against friends, family or strangers. Extra points for using absurd insults against the other contestants. (#13)
What had started as a friendly game of Simon Says quickly turned into a complete and utter disaster. (#398)
Parent Prompts
kids falling asleep in the car on the way home and their parents don’t want to wake them up
wanting another child but not knowing how the first one reacts
going to the grocery store with that many kids is a challenge
being the loudest and proudest parent at their kid’s game
having an argument but can’t staying mad at each other for longer than a few minutes
child is just hugging the parent, murmuring sorry
knowing how important it is to say sorry to your child, when the parent was wrong
basically adopting all their kid’s friends, the more the merrier
an important decision has to be made and they want to know the child’s opinion
Dialogue
“Isn’t that the girl you keep talking about?” “Mom!”
“You’re good old dad is not here to embarrass you. I’m just here to eat cake with your friends and tell dad jokes.”
“You can tell me everything, you know that, right? I will not judge you.”
“It’s great that you want to become a princess when you’re older, Honey. But even future monarchs have to eat their vegetables.”
“I talked to the mom of that boy you think is so cute...”
“Tell me what happened.”
“Oh, how cute! Is it a boy or a girl.” “It’s a child.”
“I’d come for you”, he said. “No matter what, when you need me, I will be there.” (#138)
“Mom! I’m an internationally feared super villain!” “Sure, of course you are, sweetie.” (#92)
Other existing prompts
She’s the kind of Mom who just knows when it’s the worst time to come in. (#202)
“Hi.” “Hi? I have to find out that my dad is not my real dad, that I was living a lie my whole life and that my father is a strange man and then I meet the strange man and everything he has to say is ‘Hi’?” (#331)
Have fun!
- Jana

Prompt #1
While on a rescue mission you find a small boy and bond with him, likewise he clings to you. Weeks down the line he is put into the foster care system. As annoying as he could be, you started to love him like your own child and your life feels empty and dull without him. Days turn into weeks, into a month, you fall deeper and deeper into a pit without your little buddy, you've heard nothing from the social worker about him. Until one day, he and his social worker are outside your door.
