These drawings hit home for me. Growing up in a Southern Baptist family my family says they love me but doesn't accept me.  Growing and having a brain that is not washed by the religion I have a hard time with the contradictory that the church is telling people. Love everyone... oh but don't love those people (LGBT) Because the Bible says that it is an abomination.  It is funny when you point out that that chapter in the Bible states that you shouldn't wear clothes of 2 different fabrics or eat shrimp they are an abomination.  They dismiss those they only focus on that one part. It sickens  me that they tell you to love everyone and then in the same breathe they tell you to hate these type of people.

I surround myself with love and happiness. I know things will get better with my family and I pray that one day they will get it.
