boris was a very proficient fighter, a trained militant in his human life, and he ingrained in laurent that very same knowledge. while laurent doesn’t look the part (as he comes across as a very calm, collected individual), he is very capable when it comes to physical fights; he’s a quick thinker, highly adaptable, and, as someone who has studied the subject at great lengths, he’s known to be one of the best when it comes to combat strategy. although laurent is not typically prone to violence (and often views it as a last resort), he will very easily finish a fight once it’s started.
