Tobii was staring down at his book but he wasn't really reading the words. "Hm?" He was a tad bit surprised at the others words. "You really enjoy the books, don't you?" He asks while barely side glancing at the other. It must be nice to be able to touch the one thing that you enjoy the most. Tobii usually picked hard covers over paperback because he could clean hard covers. So, in reality the other was thanking his phobia and not him -- if they wanted to get technical.
"But, you're welcome." He says with a small smile on his mouth. "I usually come here for school but I've never been this far back." He says while tilting his head upwards to get a better look back. "Do you come here often?"

He raised an eyebrow but otherwise made no other movement to look at the other’s expression; is that what the other thought that Isaak was implying? Since in all actually what the blond had meant was the opposite: that anything the other did was not going to be a bother to Isaak. He supposed he didn’t choose his words wisely after all, but made no effort to correct the mistake. If that was what he wanted to think then alright.

"I’m not," he replied coolly, shifting as he calmly closed the now finished novel to the side to pick up a new one. It was by the same author and had a similar aesthetic to it, but he hoped that the ending would make for the lack of explanations no likely in it as well (spoilers: it won’t). "I do however have to thank you for choosing a tough hardcover instead of a paperback, as to not damage the cover." He could tell there was something, but as to the extent of it, Isaak wasn’t sure.

"Good." Was there sarcasm in return? Oh, just loads. However, when Page began dying of a coughing fit Tobii literally cringed and used the back of his left hand to cover his mouth. Honestly, he really wasn't trying to be rude but if he had a panic attack right now while trying to get this sick person home -- well, they both were going to be in trouble. Tobii's panic attacks were nothing to scoff at. "Please don't pass out."
Tobii wouldn't have pushed if the other hadn't given his name. If anything the male would have called Page childish but nothing more than that. "Nice to meet you," He mumbles while stormy blue eyes side glanced to get a look at the other. Tobii needed to make sure the other still had some focus in his eyes.
"Oh yes. I can feel the kindness flow—…" His sarcasm stopped when he was hit with a coughing fit. It felt like his lungs would collapse at any second. He stopped walking briefly so he could collect himself. Right. He shouldn’t be busy trying to snap at this guy. He needed to focus on getting home without kneeling over and dying. Page begin walking away, trying to focus on keeping one foot moving after the other.
Page hummed under his breath, almost tempted not to give his name just in spite of him. This guy -Tobii- wasn’t making things too easy on him. Page just felt a bit relieved to know that someone may do something if he fell over from his illness. Page sighed. “My name is Page,” he said. He actually liked his weird name. It suit him.

Hearing the other say his full name was a bit odd and nearly caught Tobias by surprise. No one called him Tobias anymore expect for maybe Layne and for him to give his full name to this stranger -- well it just meant he was comfortable. "Well, come on then. It's going to be getting dark soon and I'm sure you're hungry?" It escaped the boy's lips as a question because he wasn't entirely sure what the other would be interested in eating or if he was even hungry. "I don't live far from here." He says while turning on his heels and beginning the journey home.
♪ It was like his worries had been cleared and the permanent yearning to see or stick by the other wouldn’t be necessary because he had been invited to come home with Tobias. The happiness was written all over his face—within his smile and his eyes and the way he behaved which was nodding his head to the point where it looked like he was going to snap it if he continued to nod so much, but he stopped due to dizziness. The water that usually felt like it was clogging up his lungs and throat faded away as he said, “Kai wants to go home with Tobias!” He even said his name right and not the shortened version.

Sometimes when Tobii saw someone pressing their face against something so dirty such as glass -- it literally made him cringe. If he could touch others then he would have wiped this man's face with an entire box of disinfectant wipes. No joke. What were they showcasing today? "--ah, kittens."
/ myxso /
"I… I’m in heaven." Hakim stood in the middle of a crowded city street, face pressed against a giant display case showcasing baby kittens. Freaking. Baby kittens. "I think there are tears streaming down my face at this very moment."

"--that makes me sound like such a loser." Tobii mutters while receiving the air pat without complaint. "..but yes, I'd like one wrapped in plastic."

"Very." Pouty Tobii is pouty. He wants one too but he would die a thousand deaths if the other were to even get close to him with one of those little crowns.
♪ “Isn’t it pretty?” He picked some acacia karroos and made a crown out of them.

Tobias was stopped when Layne grabbed a hold of his shirt and thankfully the other wasn't touching his skin. Clothes contact didn't worry him as much as skin contact did. Tobias was trembling and on the verge of tears, his cheeks were flushed as well. "--i'm not clean." he says while holding onto his hair because even though his impulsive nature was pulling it out, it still hurt. ".." Tobias didn't say anything else because he didn't know what to say. How was he suppose to calm down? This was Layne's fault. All he had to do was leave him alone and respect his personal space but he couldn't even do that. Mentally Tobii began to count.."Just leave me alone."

There was something wrong in him and it was obvious. The boy was having one of those panic attacks — he remembered seeing one not long ago when he flipped the desk in their class. And now he had it again and it was his fault again. Unknowingly of whatever was in his head, Layne paced a few step closer, holding him by his sleeve in between his thumb and his forefinger - limiting the contact. “Hey you’re not dirty. You’re like — the cleanest fucking boy I’ve ever met” He tried — assuring the other as /nicely/ as he could, and it wasn’t everyday he proved that there’s still a kind nicety in him. He brought his eyes trailing at his hand that was subtly holding him by his sleeve. “I’m not touching you directly. I’m touching your shirt. You can throw this or whatever later, but calm down will you?”

Home. Tobii needed to get home and cleanse himself or else she would never come get him. His mother, he means. His whole existence was filthy and unless he was clean, she would never want him. "Home, I have to go home." He says while turning to begin walking away. "I'm dirty. I'm dirty." The words were rushed and panicked, they trembled just like the rest of him. Sadly, the boy would never be clean enough to be loved by his mother. "She's going to be mad." Tobias started pulling at the hair that Layne had flicked just moments before-- literally pulling it from his head.

The look that painted on his face clearly tells him that something was wrong with Tobias. He pissed the other enough to make him feel uncomfortable; and Layne thought that he might have just, just maybe, had gone too far with his words. “Uh — ” He halted himself from saying anything further, and for a moment watched him bursting out lines of panic incoherencies. Washing himself with bleach — was Tobias being serious even. “Hey — hey Tobii. Are you okay?” He paused, thinking that his voice wouldn’t reach him; and worry started to hint in himself. “Tobias! Snap out of it!” He wished he could slap this boy, but he knew touching him would kill him. He refrained himself from doing so by gripping fists in both hands.
