hi !!! would it be possible for a nam-gyu x reader with a lengthy skin care routine ? i think it’d be silly for him to just be standing outside the bathroom door like a little kid waiting for them to be done 😛 thank you
You’re still in there?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Nam gyu x reader
Warnings: none!
A/N: i love writing for him help😭😭 anyway im cringing at my own writing…!
Tumblr media
You had a lengthy skincare routine. And by lengthy, you meant at least forty-five minutes if you weren’t rushing. Nam Gyu had learned this the hard way. The first night he ever stayed over, he assumed you were just brushing your teeth or something. But after fifteen minutes, when no water had run and no toilet had flushed, he got suspicious.
You had emerged glowing and smug, and he—hair a little messy and eyes heavy with sleep—had blinked at you and muttered, “You still alive in there?”
From then on, it became a part of your shared life.
Tonight was no exception.
You stood in front of your bathroom mirror, the harsh fluorescent lighting turned down low to avoid giving yourself an existential crisis. A lavender-scented candle flickered on the counter, giving the room a dreamy sort of vibe as you gently massaged cleansing balm into your face. Your playlist—low-fi and chill—hummed softly in the background.
Nam Gyu was waiting.
Well. Pacing.
You could hear the quiet padding of his socked feet in the hallway outside the bathroom. Sometimes he’d stop, lean against the door with a dramatic thump, and sigh.
“Are you exfoliating now or casting spells?”
You smirked at your reflection and wiped your face with a warm towel. “Both.”
He groaned, the same kind of tired, drawling sound he made when the coffee machine broke or when he forgot his headphones on the train. “How much longer?”
“Twenty minutes,” you called back sweetly.
Silence. Then—
“You said that ten minutes ago.”
“Time’s an illusion, Gyu.”
Another sigh, followed by a knock. Not an impatient one. More like a light tap, like a cat pawing at the door.
You were used to this now. Your routine, to him, was like a sacred ritual—one he didn’t entirely understand but respected in his own baffled, slightly clingy way.
When you opened the door just a crack to peek at him, you nearly burst out laughing.
There he stood: arms crossed over his chest, pout locked and loaded, and—most importantly—your pink fluffy cat-ear headband wrapped securely around his head, keeping his dark bangs pushed back. His ears stuck out just enough to make him look vaguely elvish. His hair was still damp from the shower, and he was wearing your oversized hoodie, sleeves swallowed halfway down his hands.
“I’m cold,” he muttered without prompting.
“I turned the heater on.”
“I’m cold emotionally.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled as you pulled the door open all the way. “Come in, then. But if you bump me or breathe too loud while I’m double masking, I’m kicking you out.”
He slipped in immediately, like a dog finally allowed back inside. “I won’t even blink.”
Nam Gyu perched on the closed toilet seat like a toddler watching their mom get ready for work. His knees were up near his chest, and he looked so cozy and at ease in your hoodie and headband that you could barely focus on applying your serum.
He watched you like it was a documentary. His dark eyes were sharp, curious, occasionally narrowing when you patted a product in instead of rubbing it. “Doesn’t that hurt?”
“No,” you said through a puff of mist from your toner spray. “It helps absorption.”
“Seems aggressive.”
“You want nice skin or not?”
He paused. Then tilted his face up toward you and shut his eyes.
You blinked at him in the mirror. “…You want me to do your routine, too?”
“If you love me.”
“Wow.”
He peeked one eye open. “C’mon. You know I’m too lazy to figure out what a hyaluronic is.”
You snorted. “It’s not a ‘what,’ it’s a who. She’s my girl. She hydrates me.”
“Do I need hydration?”
You stared at him for a long moment, then put your hands on your hips.
“…Nam Gyu. Your skin feels like a dry tortilla sometimes.”
“Hey!”
“Don’t act shocked. You used bar soap on your face for years.”
He had the audacity to look offended, but also the self-awareness to nod in defeat. “Okay, fine. Do whatever. Fix me.”
So, you fixed him.
You pulled the headband down a little so it held his hair even tighter and squirted a little cleanser onto your fingers. “Lean forward.”
He did, eyes wide and trusting as you gently massaged the product into his face. He scrunched his nose a little, muttered that it was cold, and then sighed in contentment. “You’re good at this.”
“Because I do it every day.”
“No, like. You’re good at making stuff feel like… I don’t know. Like a ritual. Like it matters.”
Your hands slowed for a second.
You stared at him—his lashes low, lips slightly parted, just letting himself be taken care of like it wasn’t a big deal. You’d seen Nam Gyu handle hard things with a cold, pragmatic logic, a detached calm. He didn’t like things that made him feel too much.
So for him to say that—like it matters—made your chest feel warm in a way that even your thermal serum couldn’t replicate.
“…It does matter,” you whispered. “You matter.”
You finished cleansing him, patted his face dry, and went in with toner, then serum. He flinched a bit at the essence because it was slippery. “What is this? Snail goo?”
You nodded solemnly. “Real snail mucin.”
“Jesus Christ.”
“And it’s anti-inflammatory. See? I take care of you.”
“Didn’t think our relationship would include mollusk residue but okay.”
You gave him the gentlest little slap with a cotton pad.
By the time you were applying moisturizer, he was completely relaxed. Slouched in your hoodie, head tilted up, eyes shut, letting you pamper him with zero protest. When you pulled out a sleeping pack to seal everything in, he mumbled, “You’re gonna turn me into one of those glass-skin K-drama boys.”
“Already have.”
“Not true. They don’t complain as much.”
You tapped his forehead. “You’re the grumpy version.”
When you finally wiped your fingers clean and stood back to admire your work, he blinked at you like he’d just woken up from a nap.
“Well?” he asked. “How do I look?”
“Like a glazed donut.”
He blinked again. “Is that… good?”
“The best. All the girlies want to be glazed donuts. It’s peak skincare achievement.”
He puffed up a little. “Huh. Not bad.”
Then, softer: “You’re gonna keep doing this for me, right?”
You turned away, pretending to check your serums so he wouldn’t see the way your face softened.
“Only if you keep wearing my cat-ear headband.”
“Deal.”
He laid on his back while you rested against his chest, scrolling idly through your phone. His hand rubbed slow circles into your shoulder. The room smelled faintly of chamomile and the faint citrus tang of toner.
“Hey,” he whispered, voice low and half-asleep. “Do you think my pores are smaller now?”
You looked up at him, cheeks resting on his chest. His skin did look smoother. His brows were relaxed.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “You look perfect.”
He smiled lazily. “You always say that.”
“That’s because you always are.”
His hand paused on your back.
“…You’re so weird.”
“You’re the one in the cat-ear headband.”
He chuckled, a real one this time—low and warm and rare. “Yeah. I guess I am.”
And then he kissed your forehead, tugged the blankets up higher, and pulled you closer like he never wanted to let go.

I have a request of a very angsty very sad fic.
It would be during Hide and seek game and reader is a seeker while Daeho is on the blue team like in the show, they are super close and they have always been but Daeho isolates himself from the team like we see in season 3. Reader is sad because of what is going on and Jungbae died and all of that but she did not participate in the revelion so she saw Daeho having the panic attack but not much more than what the rest like 222 or 149 know.
The game starts and she has trouble finding someone to unalive, she starts getting very nervous and scared and she finds Daeho, they talk emotionally but she refuses to kill him and runs away trying to find someone else while he screams for her to return.
In my mind she succeeds and is able to unalive someone so because she talked to him before she tries to look for Daeho again to help him and continue their conversation but just when she finds him she sees Gihun choking him. She doesn’t understand anything, she runs and screams at Gihun to stop but Daeho dies. And then I just imagine a very very angsty, angry and sad moment between Gihun and reader while she hugs holding Daeho’s lifeless body.
I love to hurt my heart if you cannot tell, I hope you like the request and if you decide to write something about it I will be super happy. Have a great great day :)
Come back to me

Pairing: kang dae-ho x reader
Warnings: Squid game s3 spoilers, major character death, violence, angst
A/N: i litereally had to rewrite this bc i didnt save it as a draft
Tumblr media
Dae-ho hadn’t spoken to you in since the rebellion. Not really.
Even before the Hide and Seek game began, you’d been feeling the distance. Something broke after the rebellion , something fragile inside him—his voice quieter, his eyes duller. He barely even nodded at you anymore. And you? You weren’t part of the rebellion. You hadn’t thrown a punch, hadn’t even seen what happened down in the halls. Just… the panic attack. Just the fear on his face and the way his hands trembled when you tried to reach him.
And now this.
He was out there somewhere, hiding, trying to survive. And you were the one meant to kill someone to survive.
You moved with careful steps, weapon heavy in your hand, heart heavier in your chest.
The clock ticked down.
And every second chipped at your sanity.
Then you saw him.
Kang Dae-ho.
his face pale and glistening with sweat. His ankle was bloody, his breath uneven—but his eyes lit up the second they met yours.
Not with joy.
With shock. Fear. And then, grief.
“…You,” he whispered, his voice rasping.
“Dae-ho.” You felt like crying. “You’re okay?”
He stared at you. “No.”
Your heart shattered. His voice wasn’t cold—it was tired. The kind of tired that lived in bones, not skin.
You stepped closer before stopping yourself. The red vest. You’d almost forgotten. The game hadn’t ended yet. You were a Seeker. He was prey.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” you whispered. “I—I can’t. You know I can’t.”
He stood slowly, visibly trembling.
“You’re not supposed to be here,” he said, more to himself than to you.
You blinked hard. “I didn’t choose this. You think I would’ve picked this if I’d known you were on Blue?”
His mouth opened, closed, then opened again. “You have to go.”
“I don’t want to go.” Your voice cracked. “I—I wanted to find you. I just wanted to talk.”
“This isn’t talking,” he choked out, hands half-raised in desperation. “This is suicide.”
“I’m not killing you, Dae-ho.”
“You have to!” he suddenly screamed. “You’re going to die! I don’t care if it’s me, but you have to find someone! Please, I can’t—”
His voice broke, and something inside you did too.
“I’ll find someone else,” you said breathlessly, tears burning. “I’ll survive. You survive too, okay? Just—just stay hidden. We’ll both survive. And when it’s over, we’ll find each other again.”
He stared at you like he wanted to believe you.
Like he couldn’t.
But you turned. You ran. His voice chased after you like a knife in your back.
“COME BACK! PLEASE—COME BACK TO ME!”
————
You found someone.
Barely.
It was instinct more than anything. A shadow too close. A movement too fast. You turned, struck, screamed. You didn’t even see their face. Your hands were stained with red and your stomach twisted, but you were alive.
Dae-ho.
You had to find him again.
You’d left him, and he’d begged you to stay. He had never screamed like that before—not at you, not even in the rebellion, not when Jungbae died. Something was wrong.
You started running again.
————
The place echoed with distant noise—screams, crashes, silence, then chaos again. The game was nearing its end, but your mission had shifted.
You had to find him. You had to find Dae-ho.
And then—
You saw him.
Pinned to the floor.
A figure straddled him, fingers wrapped around his throat.
Gi-hun.
“NO!” you screamed, dropping everything. “GET OFF OF HIM!”
But Gi-hun didn’t stop.
Dae-ho was struggling beneath Gi-hun’s body, hands weakly pushing at his arms, his face already turning a terrifying shade of red.
Gi-hun didn’t even look up.
You reached them just as Dae-ho’s arms fell limp.
You launched yourself at Gi-hun, tackling him off Dae-ho’s body with a force that surprised even you. He hit the ground hard, rolling once before catching himself. You didn’t follow him. You turned.
And saw Dae-ho.
His eyes were open. Still.
But they didn’t see you.
Your breath froze. “No. No no no no no—”
You dropped to your knees beside him, grabbing his shoulders, cradling his head in your lap.
“Dae-ho,” you whispered, your voice trembling. “Dae-ho, it’s me. I came back, I came back—”
Nothing.
You pressed your forehead to his. His skin was cooling too fast. His lips slightly parted, blood on his teeth.
Dae-ho is limp in your arms. The blood smeared around his mouth is still warm, but barely. His head lolls against your chest the same way it used to during exhausted nights when the lights were out and he needed to feel close to someone—to you.
But now?
Now he doesn’t even breathe.
You hold him like a broken doll, shaking violently, fingers threading through his hair, trying to wake him up with your touch.
“No… no, Dae-ho, baby, please—” Your voice is cracked and hoarse, barely escaping your throat. “You’re okay. You’re okay. I’m here.”
His bracelet—your bracelet—was still on his wrist.
The same one you tied before the second game. Still there. Even when he pulled away from everyone else, even when he wouldn’t speak… he wore it.
He’d never taken it off.
You were sobbing now, forehead to his shoulder, your fingers gripping the edge of his vest.
“I told you to survive,” you whispered. “I told you we’d find each other again…”
Your whole body shook.
“I should’ve stayed.”
Behind you, Gi-hun breathes.
And something inside you snaps.
You turn around, still cradling Dae-ho, your tear-soaked face twisted with a fury that cuts deeper than grief.
“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!?” you scream, your voice echoing through the steel bones of the warehouse. “WHAT THE FUCK, GI-HUN?!” round his mouth is still warm, but barely. His head lolls against your chest the same way it used to during exhausted nights when the lights were out and he needed to feel close to someone—to you.
you scream again, face streaked with tears. “He wasn’t a threat! He wasn’t doing anything!”
“It was his fault” Gi-hun mutters, his voice flat.
“Its wasn’t and he was a person!” you cry. “He was the best fucking person in this entire place! And you—you choked him like he was nothing—like he was meat!”
“YOU KILLED HIM! YOU KILLED HIM!” you shriek. “And for WHAT? For revenge? For the fucking game?! He trusted you!”
You cup his cheek with trembling fingers, brushing his hair back gently like you used to when he couldn’t sleep. Your tears drop onto his skin.
“It’s okay,” you whisper, your voice shaking. “It’s okay now. You don’t have to be scared anymore. I’m here. I’m right here.”
Your hands roam his arms, his hands, his face—trying to find warmth that isn’t there.
“You didn’t deserve this,” you whisper. “You didn’t deserve to die like this. Not alone. Not like that.”
You kiss his forehead.
“I should’ve stayed. I should’ve stayed with you when you asked me to. I shouldn’t have run.”
You swallow hard, trying to breathe, but your lungs feel like they’re caving in.
“You wore the bracelet,” you mutter, eyes locked on the small, fraying string around his wrist. “You never took it off.”
A sound breaks from your throat—small, fragile. A whimper of someone broken.
“I loved you, Dae-ho,” you whisper into his ear. “I still do.”
You shake your head, rocking him gently in your arms, your fingers brushing down his cheek.
“You were so good,” you whisper. “You were always so good. Even when you were hurting. Even when everyone turned their back on you. You still cared. You still tried.”
Your voice drops lower. A confession for him only.
“I knew something was wrong after the rebellion. You didn’t even have to say anything. I knew. But I thought you just needed space. I didn’t think it’d be the last time you’d look at me like that.”
You press your lips to his knuckles. “I’m so sorry.”
Behind you, Gi-hun shifts.
You speak without turning.
“Do you even feel anything?”
He hesitates.
“…He wouldn’t have made it,” Gi-hun says quietly.
You turn your head slowly, glaring at him with a hate so sharp it tastes like blood.
“He would’ve, if we’d helped him. If someone fucking cared enough to pull him back. But you? You saw someone struggling and decided to KILL him.”
Your voice rises.
“You didn’t just kill him, Gi-hun. You erased him. Like he didn’t matter. Like he wasn’t someone I loved.”
“I made a choice,” he says coldly.
“Yeah?” you spit. ”You know we had plans? Kids, moving, traveling… but i guess that will never happen”
Silence.
Gi-hun doesn’t move again.
You look down at Dae-ho.
His eyes are still open.
You reach up, fingers trembling, and gently close them.
“There,” you whisper. “Sleep now. No more games.”
You press your forehead to his one last time.
“You were the only good thing left.”
And now, you’re alone.
Really, truly alone.
With nothing but his blood on your hands and a heartbeat forever silenced in your arms.

Tumblr media
Kang dae-ho
How he would propose
Dae Ho spends weeks planning the perfect proposal, wanting it to feel personal rather than flashy. He’s the type to overthink every little detail because he wants it to be just right.
He chooses a place that holds deep meaning to both of you—maybe where you first met, or where you had your first real heart-to-heart conversation.
The proposal isn’t in front of a huge crowd. Dae Ho would prefer something intimate, just the two of you (or at most, a few close friends hiding nearby to celebrate after).
He carries the ring with him for days, waiting for the perfect moment. He almost proposes early a couple of times because he can’t stop staring at you, but he reins himself in because he wants to do it right.
The actual proposal is quiet, emotional, and full of sincerity. His voice might shake slightly when he asks, “Will you marry me?” because the moment means so much to him.
When you say yes, he pulls you into the tightest, warmest hug. He holds onto you for a long time, as if he’s grounding himself in the reality that you chose him.
Later, he admits he was more nervous about proposing than any challenge he’s ever faced.
Wedding hcs!
The wedding has a calm, heartfelt energy. Dae Ho doesn’t care about extravagance—he wants the day to feel genuine, peaceful, and full of love.
He helps plan every detail with you because he wants to make sure it reflects your happiness. He’s thoughtful like that.
The venue is likely outdoors—maybe a garden, small courtyard, or somewhere close to nature. He wants beauty, but not flashiness.
His face softens the moment you appear. He watches you walk down the aisle with so much emotion that his friends (and probably his mom!) tear up seeing how much you mean to him.
His vows are simple, sincere, and full of quiet promises “I’ll protect you. I’ll stand beside you. I’ll always come home to you.”
The whole event feels cozy—small guest list, lots of laughter, lots of warm glances exchanged across the room.
During the reception, Dae Ho sticks close to you. He’s not big on the spotlight, but with you, he’ll dance, toast, and beam with pride.
He insists on helping clean up at the end (even in his wedding suit) because he’s that kind of guy.
Tumblr media
Nam Gyu
How he would propose
Nam Gyu is terrified of messing it up—not because he doubts your love, but because he wants the proposal to reflect how much you mean to him.
He practices his speech in front of the mirror (and probably with his dog, if he has one). He wants his words to come out right, but every time he imagines the moment, he gets choked up.
He tries to plan something fancy at first, maybe at a nice restaurant or a rooftop at night—but the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes he just wants it to be real.
In the end, he proposes in a quiet, private moment—maybe during a walk you often take together, or when you’re at home sharing a meal and laughing over something dumb on TV.
His hands are slightly shaky when he pulls out the ring, and his voice is soft but steady: “I don’t need anything else, as long as I have you. Will you marry me?”
When you say yes, he exhales this breath he didn’t even realize he was holding, and immediately hugs you so tightly you can feel how hard his heart is beating.
He’s glowing with happiness for the rest of the day—and keeps staring at your hand like he can’t believe the ring is really there.
Wedding hcs!
Nam Gyu tries to go along with tradition (because he wants to honor your families) but always checks in to make sure it’s what you want.
The ceremony is small to medium-sized, probably at a peaceful place—a quiet temple, a pretty garden, or a scenic outdoor venue with soft lighting.
He’s nervous leading up to it, but the second he sees you? Total awe. His eyes shine, and he definitely tears up—no shame, just pure love on his face.
His vows are soft and a little shaky because he’s so emotional. But they’re beautiful and honest.“Every day, I’ll try my best to deserve you. I’ll be your home, wherever we go.”
The reception is filled with heartfelt speeches that make him blush. He sticks by your side most of the time, always gently checking that you’re okay and enjoying yourself.
First dance? He holds you close, forehead to yours, swaying gently like no one else exists.
Nam Gyu treasures little keepsakes from the wedding—a pressed flower from your bouquet, a ribbon from your dress, the program. He keeps them safe forever.
Tumblr media
Thanos (su-bong)
How he would propose
Su Bong doesn’t plan to propose in a traditional way. He probably tells himself he’ll wait for the “perfect time”—but when it comes to you, his emotions always get the better of him.
The proposal ends up happening during a moment where his love for you hits him all at once. Maybe you’re patching him up after a fight, or you’re laughing together during a quiet night in, and it suddenly overwhelms him that you’re his person.
Without much of a grand setup, he just blurts it out—but his voice is firm, sure, and filled with raw emotion:“Marry me. Please. I want you to be mine—officially. Forever.”
He doesn’t get down on one knee in a fancy way—he’s probably holding your hand or your face, looking right into your eyes like the world doesn’t exist beyond you.
The ring? Oh, he put serious thought into that. It’s bold but meaningful—something that symbolizes strength and loyalty, because that’s what your bond means to him.
When you say yes, Su Bong lets out a breath that’s part relief, part joy. He pulls you into his arms and holds you so tightly that you can feel his heartbeat pounding against yours.
Wedding hcs!
The wedding is bold and powerful, just like your relationship. It’s not about showing off, but it definitely has presence. People remember it.
The venue is dramatic: think city rooftop at night with lights, or a grand hall with rich colors—deep red, gold, black.
Su Bong stands at the altar looking like he owns the world, but the second he sees you? His tough exterior cracks. His eyes soften in a way only you’ve ever seen.
His vows aren’t long, but they hit hard. He promises strength, loyalty, and that he’d destroy anything that threatens your happiness.“You’re mine. I’m yours. Always. Nothing will touch you as long as I breathe.”
The ceremony feels electric—there’s this intense energy between you two that everyone can feel.
At the reception, Su Bong isn’t afraid to pull you close, to dance with you like he means it, to show everyone how proud he is to be yours.
He keeps his arm around you most of the night, always ready to steal a kiss or whisper in your ear.

Nam Gyu lay on his side, facing you. His dark hair was tousled, sticking up in uneven tufts where your fingers had run through it the night before. His breathing was soft and even, lips slightly parted, lashes casting delicate shadows on his cheeks. In the pale morning light, he looked younger somehow — the deep lines of worry that usually creased his forehead were smoothed out, the tension in his jaw forgotten. For once, he wasn’t carrying the weight of his endless responsibilities. He was just Gyu — your Gyu.
You shifted slightly, careful not to wake him just yet. The mattress dipped beneath your movement, and the arm he’d draped over your waist tightened instinctively, pulling you closer. His face nuzzled into the crook of your neck, and you felt the warmth of his breath against your skin, sending a small shiver down your spine.
“Mmm… where you going?” His voice was rough with sleep, low and quiet.
You smiled, heart swelling at how soft he sounded, so unlike the guarded man the world knew. “Nowhere,” you whispered, running your fingers lightly through his messy hair. “Just watching you.”
Nam Gyu cracked one eye open, the corners of his mouth twitching into a small, lazy smile. “That’s creepy, you know.”
You laughed softly, the sound muffled against his chest as you buried your face there. He smelled like soap and warm skin, familiar and comforting. His chest rose and fell beneath you, steady and sure.
“You should get used to it,” you teased, voice muffled. “I’m gonna be watching you for a long time.”
He let out a quiet huff, amused, and pressed a kiss to the top of your head. His lips lingered there, and you felt the subtle way his hand moved, fingers gently tracing patterns on your back beneath the oversized T-shirt you wore — his T-shirt, actually, soft and worn from too many washes.
“Good,” he said finally, his voice softer now, threaded with something vulnerable he rarely let show. “I want you to.”
You shifted so you could see him better, propping yourself up on your elbow. His eyes were still heavy with sleep, dark and warm, and he blinked at you like he couldn’t quite believe you were real. His fingers came up, brushing a strand of hair from your face, his touch feather-light.
“I don’t want to get up yet,” you confessed, tracing the shape of his collarbone with your fingertip. “Can we stay like this? Just for a little longer?”
His expression softened in a way that made your chest ache. Nam Gyu was so often hardened by the world, by the struggles he faced — the long hours at work that never seemed to pay enough, the constant worry over bills, his quiet sense of responsibility that kept him going even when he was exhausted. But here, in this small moment, he let all that go. For you.
“Yeah,” he murmured. “We can stay. As long as you want.”
He pulled you closer, tucking you beneath his chin, his arms wrapping around you like he could shield you from everything outside this room. His thumb moved in slow circles against your side, grounding, comforting.
Outside, the light grew stronger, but neither of you moved. The world could wait.
“You work today?” you asked, though you already knew the answer
“Mm.” His hum rumbled through his chest against your ear. “Later. Not yet.”
You could hear the reluctance in his voice. Nam Gyu always put work first, because he had to. But right now, he didn’t want to let go. And neither did you.
You tilted your head back just enough to look at him, your hand resting on his cheek. His skin was warm beneath your palm, faint stubble rough against your fingers. “Call in sick,” you said quietly, half-joking but half-hoping. “Just this once.”
He chuckled, a sound so rare it made your heart flutter. His eyes crinkled at the corners, the kind of smile that reached all the way up. “And who’s gonna pay the rent, huh?”
You sighed dramatically, pressing a kiss to his jaw. “I’ll rob a bank.”
That made him laugh for real — low and soft, his shoulders shaking with it. He kissed your forehead, then your temple, then your nose, his lips lingering just a beat longer each time. “You’re terrible at lying, jagi.”
“Only when it comes to crime,” you said, grinning. “You’re too honest. I’m corrupting you.”
Nam Gyu shook his head, still smiling, but his eyes were soft, fond. “I think you’re saving me.”
And just like that, the air shifted — heavier now, but not in a bad way. He meant it. You could see it in his gaze, feel it in the way he held you like you were the most precious thing in the world.
You leaned in, kissing him slow, unhurried. He tasted like sleep and warmth, and his hand came up to cradle the back of your head, fingers threading through your hair like he never wanted to let go. When you finally pulled back, breathless, he rested his forehead against yours.
“I love you,” you whispered.
“I love you more,” he whispered back, no hesitation, no fear.
The room was filled with the soft morning light, with the quiet promise of another day, and in that moment, there was nothing else — no work, no bills, no worries. Just the two of you, tangled together in the sheets, hearts beating in sync.
And for a little while longer, you stayed like that, wrapped in each other, as the world outside kept turning.

hii 💕 I love your writings. can I please request a fic or headcanons about going on an amusement park date with daeho (or anyone else you write for)? thank youu
Going to the amusement park headcanons!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Kang dae ho, Nam gyu, thanos (su-bong) separately
Warnings: none i think?
A/N: im sorry i havent posted in a couple days i havent been feeling my best:) but reqs are open
Tumblr media
Kang Dae-ho
Dae-ho is over-the-moon excited when you suggest going to the amusement park. He immediately starts planning, looking up the best rides, the tastiest food stalls, and even figuring out the least crowded times to make sure the experience is perfect.
He insists on matching outfits, joking about wearing something ridiculous like cartoon-themed shirts or silly hats, but if you agree, he’s all in.
The morning of the trip, he wakes you up early, practically bouncing around like an overexcited puppy. He’s already packed essentials: sunscreen, water bottles, snacks, and even a small first-aid kit (his sisters made him overly prepared for everything).
Dae-ho’s excitement is contagious. He practically drags you from ride to ride, beaming like a kid on Christmas morning.
He’s obsessed with roller coasters and tries to convince you to ride the scariest ones with him. If you’re hesitant or scared, he’s incredibly understanding and doesn’t push. Instead, he’ll hold your hand, joke around to distract you, and promise to buy you as many snacks as you want afterward.
He’s a pro at carnival games. He wins a giant stuffed animal for you after spending way too much time and money on it. He’s ridiculously proud of himself and insists on carrying it around all day, even when it’s clearly inconvenient.
Between rides, he loves taking quiet breaks, sitting on benches while sharing cotton candy or churros. He insists on feeding you a piece, and his bright smile when you finally let him is priceless.
He’s incredibly affectionate, holding your hand, wrapping his arm around your shoulders, or pulling you into spontaneous hugs. If you’re shy about PDA, he tries to tone it down but can’t help sneaking in little touches.
At sunset, he pulls you onto the Ferris wheel, claiming it’s the perfect way to end the day. As the ride reaches the top, he gets uncharacteristically quiet, gazing out at the view before turning to you with a soft, almost shy smile. “This is the best day ever… because I got to spend it with you.”
If anyone bumps into you or tries to cut in line, he immediately steps in, his normally sweet demeanor replaced with a firm, protective tone. He doesn’t get aggressive, but his presence alone is enough to make people back off.
He’s hyper-aware of your comfort, constantly checking if you’re okay, if you’re tired, or if you need anything.
Tumblr media
Nam Gyu
Nam Gyu isn’t exactly thrilled when you suggest the amusement park. He claims it’s “too crowded and noisy,” but deep down, he’s touched that you want to spend the day with him. He tries to act nonchalant, but you catch the small smile he hides when you talk about your plans.
He’s not a morning person, so he grumbles the entire way there, sipping on his coffee and complaining about how early it is. But the moment he sees your excitement, he softens and starts making sarcastic comments to make you laugh.
Nam Gyu is surprisingly fun to go with because of his dry humor. He makes sarcastic remarks about the overly enthusiastic park staff, the overpriced snacks, and the long lines, but it’s all in good fun.
He’s not a fan of extreme rides, but he’ll go on them if you want to. He tries to act unfazed, but you catch him holding on for dear life during a particularly intense roller coaster. When you tease him afterward, he just smirks and says, “I was worried you’d be scared.”
His favorite part is the haunted house. He claims he’s not scared, but you catch him flinching at the jump scares. He tries to cover it up by teasing you, saying, “You screamed louder than me,” even if it’s not true.
Despite his gruff exterior, Nam Gyu has a soft side that shows in subtle ways. He buys you a souvenir without you asking and pretends it’s no big deal, even though he clearly put thought into it.
He’s not openly affectionate in public, but he’ll hold your hand or casually drape his arm around you, acting like it’s no big deal. If you’re nervous about a ride or a crowd, he gently squeezes your hand to reassure you.
By the end of the day, he’s surprisingly relaxed and even admits he had fun (though he’ll never outright say it was because of you). As you leave the park, he mutters, “Maybe we can do this again… sometime.” It’s his way of saying he had a great time without losing his cool persona.
Tumblr media
Thanos (Su-bong)
Su-bong is so excited about going to the amusement park with you. He insists on making it a surprise date and goes all out, even printing out the park map and planning an itinerary.
He’s like a kid in a candy store, running from ride to ride with boundless energy. You can barely keep up with him, but his laughter and enthusiasm are so infectious that you don’t mind.
He’s fearless when it comes to rides, always choosing the biggest, fastest, and scariest ones. He cheers loudly during roller coasters and even throws his hands up, encouraging you to do the same.
On gentler rides, like the merry-go-round, he pretends to be bored but secretly loves the cheesy charm of it. He jokes about riding the biggest horse and asks you to take pictures of him posing dramatically.
Su-bong is super competitive at carnival games. He spends way too much money trying to win a stuffed animal for you, refusing to give up until he succeeds. When he finally wins, he acts smug and says, “Told you I’d get it for you.”
He also challenges you to silly games, like who can eat the most cotton candy or who screams the loudest on a ride. His laughter is constant, and his playful attitude makes the day unforgettable.
Despite all the chaos, Su-bong has a surprisingly romantic side. He insists on taking cute selfies together, making silly faces and then snapping one where you’re both smiling genuinely.
He surprises you by buying matching accessories, like hats or bracelets, and proudly wears his, claiming it’s a “symbol of our teamwork.”
At the end of the day, he takes you to a quiet spot to watch the fireworks. For once, he’s uncharacteristically quiet, wrapping his arms around you and whispering, “Thanks for making today so amazing. You’re the best part of any adventure.”

I love this smmm!!!!💕💕
Little Climbing Champ!
A little Gift for @n1daehodefender and her work that inspired me to write this little Post. I totally love the Idea of the Squid Game Boys with their Babys and like to give you this Gift <3 - Check out her Storys, her writing is so good!
Summary: You wake up extra early on a Sunday morning and try to climb out of your bed with one goal - to steal your Appa's watch because it has caught your interest.
TW: Nothing except Cuteness and fatherly Love from Kang dae-ho, Nam-gyu & Thanos - as well as hints of nightmares based on the experiences in the Squid Games.
Characters: Kang dae-ho, Nam-gyu, Thanos
Tumblr media
★★★Thanos★★★
You wake up a little tired and realize with a sleepy look that it wasn't even light yet…the small gap in the curtains on the window didn't let any sunlight through…but…if it was still bedtime and your mommy and your appa were still asleep…maybe you could try something really exciting and awesome?
With a quiet yawn, you kick the blanket off you and crawl closer to the bars of your bed.
You've already tried several times to climb over the edge of the crib because… it was so exciting and great (plus you wanted a little extra cuddle time with your Appa, you've been in your Appa only phase for a few days… which Thanos finds quite amusing, after all he is THE LEGEND - of course it was really cool that as your Appa he was much higher up in your eyes than your mommy) and you really want to take a closer look at that great watch, that your father is wearing… it's so sparkling and great and you want to have it.
Sometimes Thanos says the watch is off limits for you… whatever that means? You don't know but… if your parents are still asleep, they certainly won't notice that you're trying to sneak into the parents' bedroom.
Exactly! You would steal Appa's beautiful watch and just keep it… then it would no longer be Appa's watch but yours....your Watch.
Determined, you stand up and try to climb over the edge of the bed. It takes several attempts , before you can lift your right leg and then your left leg over it.
(When you tried a few days ago, either your mother or father caught you half-heartedly and either lifted you out of bed themselves and sat you on the large, soft play rug in the room, or you were placed on your parent's hip and your climbing ideas were doomed to failure.) Climbing over it was easy… landing on the rug… less so.
You land on your diapered, padded bottom and luckily the start wasn't too painful for you.
And luckily for you, the door to your room was only ajar.
It wasn't uncommon for you to wake up in the night and call for your parents - in the last few days, more often for Thanos, of course - but this time you use the ajar door , to walk clumsily down the dark hallway towards your parents' bedroom.
This door was also ajar and you pushed it open a little further.
It was dark and both Mommy and Appa seemed to still be asleep….okay….where did Appa have his watch….does he sleep with it on his arm, like you sometimes need your favorite stuffed animal to fall asleep?
"Kid what are you....how......wait is that my Watch?"
You giggle once and press the watch closer to your cheek, not really planning on giving it back to your Appa…but of course you wanted to tell him what great things you had accomplished…no matter how late or early it was.
"Appa! Me....climbed out ... baby bed! ALONE!"
It took a moment for Thanos to realize the words and a tired, broad grin on his lips before he playfully reached for you and pulled you into a loving hug.
"WOW, that's so cool! My little climbing champ! And at 4:44 in the morning! Appa is proud of you! And as a reward, you can continue sleeping in Appa and Mommy's bed… if you give me my watch back, hm?" - Thanos praised this night climbing action… and that was a much better reward than keeping the watch.
So you nod enthusiastically and voluntarily give him the watch back.
A few minutes later, you are lying between your Mommy and your Appa and quickly fall asleep again.
Thanos covers you and his partner with the blanket a little more carefully , before he also returns to dreamland with a happy smile.
★★★Kang dae-ho★★★
"Appa? Wakey-Wakey?"
You carefully support yourself on the edge of the mattress and try to check whether your father is still awake.
It was difficult to climb out of your bed… you somehow hurt yourself and actually wanted to call out loudly for your parents, but actually you also wanted to play with the watch, that your father accidentally left on the changing table in your room and… somehow everything ended in chaos… which is why you are now standing in your parents' bedroom and trying to wake up the sleeping Dae-ho.
Because somehow… when you tried to push the small chair that sometimes stands at the even smaller table in your room… closer to the changing table in order to get the watch… the chair somehow crashed into the small lamp and it broke… you still don't have the watch and Appa has to help you now! Very, very urgently.
You hear a rustling on your mommy's side of the bed and she struggles out of bed to pick you up a few moments later.
"Appa was really tired, baby… can we be a bit quieter?", your mommy whispers in your ear… but you see it as a game and clap your hands enthusiastically, only to shout a loud OKAY into the room and thus wake up your Appa, who… sits upright in bed, startled, and looks from you to his partner.
"What happened? Oh my God, is our baby sick? Was she crying and I overslept? Are you sick, darling? Is it already morning? What time is it? 4:44? oooh…", - came the confused reply from the former player of the brutal Squid Games.
Of course, his first concern was for your safety and that of his partner…and somehow he seems like a sleepy Labrador puppy to a person in the middle of the night.
"Climbed out baby bed…fell…little ouchie but kay kay….Appa Watch on changing table….lamp broken…..Appa fix it? Me wanna play with Appa Watch please!"
There was a moment of silence before your parents' amused laughter echoed through the bedroom, and your Appa dragged himself tiredly out of bed to check whether you had hurt yourself during your climbing.
Your parents cleaned up the night's chaos and Appa read you a little bedtime story, albeit in a tired voice… but with a fatherly, loving glow in his eyes, which made you forget about your beautiful watch and you quickly fell asleep again.
Without any more climbing… of course you didn't notice the slightly proud smile on your father's lips as he put the book aside… and was proud of this… could you call it a new milestone in his baby's life?
★★★ Nam-gyu★★★
"Woah woah…what do you think you're doing?"
It was the middle of the night and the voice of your Appa made you pause for a moment…actually you wanted to climb over the edge of your crib in a death-defying manner because you wanted to secretly steal that amazing clock from your parents' bedroom…but your climbing attempts were discovered because…Appa suddenly stood in the brightly lit room and there was a mixture of surprise in his voice.
"Appa! Help!" - you say tearfully, hanging half with one leg over the top edge of the bed and the other half on the other side, threatening to slide off.
"If you're tired of life, baby, I'd rather see this situation.... if you ever meet that crazy salesman on the subway…run Kid.....run", you hear your father mutter and he picks you up in a routine and fatherly gesture.
You look at him with big, pleading eyes and pat the right cheek of the… somewhat tired-looking Nam-Gyu lovingly.
"Wanna Appas Watch....pretty...", you said and cuddeld closer to your Father.
"Ah i get it, so that´s why you start this climbing adventure....sorry I promised to be the best Appa ever for you....no Watch"
"Pwetty please Appa!", you said and whinned once.
"How about this, instead of more climbing stuff this fu....very early night like we have 04:44 a.m.....i sneak you into our Room and you can fall asleep with Mommy and Appa for now?", - your Father said in a soft voice while giving you an calming kiss on the hair.
"Teddy too?", you asked and pointed towards your Crib where a Teddybear was sitting.
"Sure, what kind of an good Appa would i be, if the Teddy is left behind?", said Nam-Gyu and grabbed the stuffed Animal to give it to you.
Only a few Moment later, you were placed in the king sized double Bed next to your sleeping Mommy, while your Father wished you a good night and hummed a soft lullaby, which quickly made you fall asleep.
THE END

Their reactions to finding you crying
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: kang dae ho, Nam gyu, thanos (Su Bong) Separately!
Warnings: Warnings: Emotional comfort, mentions of crying and emotional distress, gentle themes of reassurance.
A/N: requests are open
Tumblr media
Kang Dae-Ho
Dae-ho had been looking forward to seeing you all day. Work was exhausting, and all he wanted was to relax with you, maybe joke around about something silly or talk about your day. But the moment he walks through the door and hears the faint sound of muffled crying coming from the bedroom, his heart drops. His playful energy vanishes, replaced by deep concern.
He doesn’t barge in immediately. Instead, he pauses to collect himself, not wanting to startle or overwhelm you. Quietly, he knocks on the doorframe, his soft, “Hey, are you okay?” breaking the silence. When you don’t respond right away, he carefully opens the door to find you curled up on the bed, tears staining your cheeks. The sight of you like this pulls at his heartstrings, and any jokes he might’ve planned to crack to lighten the mood are completely forgotten.
Dae-ho moves slowly, not wanting to make you feel pressured to explain yourself. He sits down on the edge of the bed, reaching out to gently brush a stray tear from your cheek. His voice is soft, filled with that golden retriever-like warmth you’ve come to love.
“I’m here, okay? You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.”
He gives you space to decide whether you want to lean into him or not, but when you do, his arms wrap around you like a safe cocoon.
Dae-ho’s hugs are everything: firm yet gentle, warm and grounding. He strokes your hair with one hand while the other rubs soothing circles on your back. Occasionally, he presses a light kiss to the top of your head. His presence is steady, reminding you that you’re not alone.
He doesn’t push you to explain, though it’s clear he’s worried. Instead, he keeps his words gentle and encouraging:
“You don’t have to say anything right now. Just know that whatever it is, we’ll get through it together.”
His tone is earnest, his voice trembling slightly from how much he hates seeing you hurt.
Once your tears subside, Dae-ho suggests small things to make you feel better, like getting some fresh air, eating something comforting, or just lying together for a while. He stays with you the entire time, not leaving your side even for a second. If you eventually open up about why you were crying, he listens without judgment, offering reassurance and positivity where he can.
Tumblr media
Nam Gyu
Nam Gyu doesn’t expect to find you upset when he gets home. He’s usually the one you greet with a smile or a sarcastic comment, so the quiet, heavy atmosphere hits him immediately. He hears faint sniffles coming from the bedroom, and his mind races with worry.
The second he sees you crying, his heart clenches painfully. He doesn’t hesitate to approach, his strides purposeful but not rushed. Kneeling in front of you, he cups your face gently, his eyes scanning your expression for any signs of what might’ve happened.
“Hey, what’s going on? Did something happen? Who do I need to deal with?”
His tone is serious, laced with protectiveness, but his touch is gentle.
Nam Gyu hates seeing you cry and will do everything in his power to make it stop—not because he’s uncomfortable with your emotions, but because it physically hurts him to see you in pain. If you don’t want to talk about it, he respects that, but he’ll still hover protectively, sitting close to you and holding your hand. If you lean into him, he wraps you in his arms tightly, his chin resting on top of your head as he murmurs reassurances.
“It’s okay, babe. I’ve got you. Whatever it is, you’re not alone in this.”
His hugs are firm and grounding, making you feel like nothing in the world could touch you as long as he’s there. He rubs your back and strokes your hair, occasionally tilting your chin up to wipe away tears with his thumbs.
Though Nam Gyu isn’t the most emotionally expressive person, he steps up when you need him. His words are straightforward but heartfelt, and he’s willing to listen for as long as you need, his attention completely focused on you.
“Take your time. I’m not going anywhere.”
If you eventually explain, he listens intently, his jaw tightening if it’s something that upset or hurt you. You can see the barely restrained protectiveness in his expression.
Nam Gyu will insist on taking care of you afterward, whether that means cooking your favorite meal, running a bath, or just lying down with you. He’s not the type to leave you alone, ensuring you feel safe and loved before he considers relaxing himself.
Tumblr media
Thanos (Su-bong)
Su-bong is in a great mood as he walks in the door, ready to tell you about something funny that happened during his day. But the moment he hears soft sobbing coming from the bedroom, his mood shifts entirely. His heart aches at the sound, and he immediately heads toward you, his earlier excitement forgotten.
When he sees you crying, his playful demeanor is replaced by quiet concern. He kneels beside the bed, his brow furrowed in worry as he gently calls your name.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong? Talk to me, love.”
Though his instinct is to crack a joke to cheer you up, he knows better than to do that right away. Instead, he focuses on being present for you, letting you feel whatever you need to feel.
Su-bong’s approach is a mix of gentle affection and lighthearted attempts to make you smile. He’ll wrap you in a warm hug, one hand stroking your back while the other holds your hand. If you don’t pull away, he presses a soft kiss to your temple and whispers:
“I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m here. You don’t have to do this alone.”
If you’re unresponsive, he doesn’t push but stays close, his presence steady and reassuring.
He’s incredibly tactile, holding you close and wiping away your tears with the sleeve of his shirt (despite you protesting that he’ll ruin it). His touch is gentle, and his hugs feel safe and secure.
Su-bong’s words are soft and soothing, filled with unconditional love and support. If you eventually share what’s wrong, he listens attentively, nodding along and offering comforting words when needed. He’s also not afraid to be vulnerable with you, admitting that it hurts him to see you cry.
“You don’t have to explain, but if you ever want to, I’ll be here, okay?”
Once you start to feel better, Su-bong’s playful side re-emerges. He might crack a light joke or do something silly to make you smile, but he’ll also make sure you’re comfortable—bringing you snacks, cuddling with you, or watching something lighthearted to lift your spirits.

Request for a kang dae x female player who is a people pleaser and trying to give her lunch to the triangle guard after hear his stomac growl hungry and beign picked on cause of that by this annoying player (forgot his name ) who is like older and complained why not more people died?
A gentle heart in a cruel world
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Word count: I have no idea since I deleted the ending because I didn’t like it😭😭
Warnings: Squid Game-related violence, mentions of starvation and cruelty, bullying/insults, emotional vulnerability, descriptions of tense and hostile situations.
A/N: i dont really like how i wrote this but i hope y’all like it!! Also requestes are open. Also Jeon-Dae is player 100 since I’m assuming you meant him
Tumblr media
The cold, sterile air of the game compound was oppressive. You could feel it settle deep in your chest as you shuffled into the dining hall, clutching the small tray of food that barely passed as a meal. It was just enough to stave off the gnawing hunger—barely—but you didn’t complain. You never had. Complaining never sat well with you, even as a child. It always felt selfish, ungrateful.
Instead, you’d always focused on giving.
The habit had been deeply ingrained in you for as long as you could remember, encouraged by your own idealistic heart and frowned upon by your more practical mother. “You can’t save everyone,” she’d told you countless times. “Someday, you’ll give too much and be left with nothing.”
Maybe she’d been right. After all, here you were—trapped in this nightmare, fighting for survival alongside desperate, ruthless strangers.
But even now, even in this place, some part of you couldn’t turn it off. Couldn’t stop looking for the good in people.
As you settled at an empty corner of one of the long, metal tables, you noticed something unusual: one of the triangle-masked guards standing stiffly near the wall. His posture betrayed no emotion, but the faint sound of his stomach growling was unmistakable.
Your heart clenched.
They were supposed to be faceless enforcers, symbols of authority and control. Yet in that moment, the sound humanized him. You couldn’t stop yourself. Before you could second-guess the impulse, you stood, picked up your tray, and approached him.
“Here,” you said softly, holding out your meal. “You can have mine.”
The guard didn’t respond. He didn’t move, didn’t even flinch.
“It’s okay,” you added, trying to smile despite the cold, empty eyes of the black mask staring back at you. “I don’t mind—”
“Are you serious?”
The sneering voice cut through the air like a whip. You turned to see Jeon-dae, a wiry man with a perpetual scowl and a mean streak, glaring at you from across the room. He rose from his seat and stalked toward you, his movements sharp and aggressive.
“You think that’s gonna earn you points or something?” he spat, his tone dripping with disdain. “Giving your food to them? They’re not gonna save you, idiot. They’ll kill you just like the rest of us.”
You opened your mouth to respond, but the words caught in your throat.
“Pathetic,” Jeon-dae continued, his voice rising. “You’re so desperate to be a hero, huh? Think that’ll make you special?” He laughed, a cruel, bitter sound. “You’ll be the first to go. People like you always are.”
The room fell silent, all eyes on the scene unfolding. You could feel the weight of their stares, the unspoken judgment, and your face burned with shame. Without another word, you turned and retreated to your seat, clutching the tray tightly.
Jeon-dae muttered something else under his breath—something sharp and cutting—but you didn’t hear it. You kept your head down and forced yourself to eat, the taste of the bland, unappetizing food turning to ash in your mouth.
You were used to this, weren’t you? People calling you naive, foolish. And maybe you were. Maybe that was why you were here in the first place.
But it still hurt.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn’t notice someone approaching until a quiet voice broke through your haze.
“Hey. Mind if I sit here?”
You looked up, startled, and found yourself face-to-face with one of the players you hadn’t spoken to before. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with kind eyes and a mop of slightly disheveled hair.
“I… uh…” You hesitated, unsure how to respond.
“I’m Kang Dae-ho,” he said, offering a small, reassuring smile as he sat across from you without waiting for an answer. “I saw what happened earlier.”
Your stomach dropped. “Oh,” you murmured, lowering your gaze. “That’s… embarrassing.”
“It shouldn’t be.”
The softness in his voice caught you off guard. You glanced up, meeting his gaze, and saw no judgment there. Only warmth.
“It was a kind thing to do,” he continued, leaning forward slightly. “Most people wouldn’t have bothered.”
“Yeah, well,” you muttered, picking at your food with the edge of your spoon. “Most people wouldn’t have been stupid enough to try.”
“You’re not stupid.”
You blinked, startled by the firmness in his tone.
“Kindness isn’t stupid,” Dae-ho said, his expression earnest. “Especially not in a place like this.”
A lump formed in your throat. You wanted to believe him, but the weight of Jeon-dae’s words still lingered.
“Kindness doesn’t get you very far here,” you said quietly. “It just makes you a target.”
Dae-ho studied you for a moment, his gaze thoughtful. Then he smiled again, a little softer this time.
“Maybe,” he said. “But it also makes you human. And that’s worth something.”
Something in his voice—so genuine, so steady—made your chest ache. You hadn’t realized how much you’d needed to hear those words until now.
For the first time since the games began, you felt seen.
“Thank you,” you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
Dae-ho’s smile widened, and for a moment, the harsh, unforgiving world around you seemed to fade away.
Over the next few days, you found yourself gravitating toward Dae-ho more and more. He had an easy way about him—a quiet confidence that made you feel safe, even in the midst of chaos.
He never pushed, never pried. But he was always there, offering a kind word or a steady presence when you needed it most.
And slowly, piece by piece, you began to let your guard down.
One evening, as the two of you sat together in a quiet corner of the dormitory, you found yourself telling him about your childhood—about your mother’s warnings and your own stubborn idealism.
“I guess she was right,” you said with a bitter laugh. “I’ve always been too soft for my own good.”
Dae-ho shook his head, his expression thoughtful. “I think you’re stronger than you realize,” he said. “It takes strength to hold on to who you are in a place like this.”
His words stayed with you long after the conversation ended, echoing in your mind as you lay in the dark, surrounded by the sounds of restless sleep.
For the first time in what felt like forever, you began to feel a flicker of hope.
Maybe—just maybe—you weren’t as alone as you thought.

keep up the good writing
Their reactions of their baby calling them appa for the first time!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: this made me so happy tyyy ilyyy💞 i also loved this requests so much my heart litereally Melted🥹 I’m writing all of the requests I have so stay tuned if you have requested something I won’t ignore it!!!!! Also requests are open:)
Pairing: Kang dae-ho, Nam-gyu, Thanos (Su Bong)
Warnings: Emotional vulnerability, soft parenting moments, detailed depictions of love and affection, and mentions of struggles with fatherhood and self-worth.
Tumblr media
Kang Dae-Ho
Kang Dae-ho spent months preparing for fatherhood. Late-night diaper runs, endless bedtime stories (even when the baby didn’t understand), and early morning singalongs were his new normal.
He loved carrying your baby everywhere — perched on his hip, showing them off to his friends and family. He’d constantly whisper things like, “You’re gonna be so strong and brave like your mom, huh?” or, “Can you say ‘appa’? Come on, say it for me, little one!”
Every time he tried to get the baby to say “appa,” they’d just giggle or babble something unintelligible. He’d laugh it off but secretly felt a tiny pang of disappointment.
It’s late one evening. He’s sitting on the living room floor with your baby balanced on his lap, playing with a colorful toy. You’re nearby, watching the two of them with a fond smile.
Your baby reaches for the toy in Dae-ho’s hands, making their usual happy sounds, but this time, they look straight at him and babble, “Appa!”
He freezes. Completely. His mouth drops open, and he looks at you like, “Did you hear that?”
“Say that again,” he whispers softly, his voice almost trembling. “Can you say ‘appa’ one more time?”
Your baby giggles again and repeats it, more clearly this time: “Appa!”
Dae-ho’s eyes fill with tears instantly. He pulls the baby close to his chest, kissing their tiny head over and over. “You said it… You really said it,” he murmurs.
For the rest of the evening, he’s a blubbering mess, pacing the room and talking about how he’ll never forget this moment.
He tells everyone about it. His sisters get spammed with texts: “They called me appa today. Can you believe it? ME!”
He becomes even more attached to your baby after this. If that’s even possible, since he was already a doting father.
Every time the baby says “appa” now, his face lights up like the sun. He always responds with a big smile, “Yes, I’m your appa!”
Tumblr media
Nam Gyu
He’s cautious and quiet in the early stages of fatherhood, unsure how to navigate the chaos of diapers, crying, and sleepless nights. But over time, he starts finding his rhythm.
He’s not the type to baby-talk or coo, but he’s always there — rocking the baby to sleep, cooking meals so you can rest, and pacing the room at 3 AM when the baby won’t stop crying.
He never actively pushes for the baby to call him “appa,” though. It’s something he assumes will happen eventually, but he doesn’t dwell on it.
It’s a quiet afternoon, and you’re all sitting on the floor together. The baby’s crawling toward Nam Gyu, giggling as he holds out his arms to them.
When they reach him, they look up at his face and blurt out, “Appa!”
He freezes, his expression unreadable for a moment. Then he breaks into a soft, almost shy smile. “Did you just…?”
The baby says it again, and Nam Gyu lets out a soft laugh, pulling them into his arms. “Appa,” he repeats quietly, like he’s testing the word out for himself.
He doesn’t make a big show of it, but you catch him smiling to himself for the rest of the day.
That night, when he thinks you’re asleep, you hear him whisper to the baby, “I’ll do my best to be a good appa for you. I promise.”
He’s a little more confident in his role as a father after this moment, more willing to let himself be vulnerable and affectionate around the baby.
Tumblr media
Thanos (Su-bong)
Thanos is awkward but deeply devoted as a dad. He doesn’t always know what he’s doing, but he throws himself into it wholeheartedly.
He spends hours talking to the baby, telling them stories about his life and making ridiculous faces to get them to laugh.
He jokingly refers to himself as “the best appa in the world” but secretly wonders if he’s doing enough.
One evening, he’s holding the baby while pacing the room, trying to calm them down after a fussy day.
He’s muttering under his breath, “Come on, little one. You’ve got to give your old man a break here.”
Suddenly, the baby looks up at him with wide eyes and says, “Appa.”
He stops dead in his tracks, staring at the baby like they’ve just revealed the secrets of the universe. “What did you just say?”
The baby says it again, and Thanos lets out a deep, joyful laugh, tears brimming in his eyes. “That’s right,” he says, his voice thick with emotion. “I’m your appa.”
He spends the next hour walking around the house, holding the baby close and repeating, “You said it! You called me appa!”
He’s insufferably proud after this, bragging to anyone who will listen. “My kid’s a genius,” he tells his friends. “First word? Appa. That’s my kid, alright.”
But in private, he’s deeply moved. You catch him staring at the baby sometimes, his expression soft and vulnerable.
He becomes even more protective and loving, constantly reminding you both how much you mean to him.

pairing: Kang dae-ho
A/N: This is not a x reader bc i have never written full angst BUT i have a couple angst Drafts of dae ho x reader, if you want me to publish them lmk idk if their Any good tho:( anyway requests are always open!!!!
Warnings: The following headcanons contain themes of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood abuse, violence, and psychological distress. Also this is how i see the character, out visions might be different! Some of these might be canon
Tumblr media
His father’s disdain for his interests and the forced enlistment in the marines haunt Dae-ho, leading him to constantly question his own worth and choices.
Conditioned by past abuse to believe he is always at fault, he apologizes excessively, even when he has done nothing wrong, reflecting his low self-esteem.
Dae-ho frequently experiences vivid nightmares of the shooting incident during his marine service, often waking up in a cold sweat, heart pounding, as the memories replay in his mind.
Even in seemingly safe environments, Dae-ho remains constantly on edge, his eyes darting around, muscles tense, always anticipating potential threats due to his PTSD.
Certain sounds, like gunfire or loud bangs, trigger intense flashbacks to the traumatic events he witnessed, causing him to freeze or react defensively, reliving the moments as if they were happening again.
He avoids discussing his time in the marines, deflecting conversations or changing topics to prevent resurfacing painful memories that he struggles to suppress.
Dae-ho grapples with overwhelming guilt, questioning why he survived the shooting incident when many of his comrades did not, leading to feelings of unworthiness and self-blame.
To cope with his trauma, he often shuts down emotionally, finding it difficult to connect with others or express his feelings, creating a barrier between him and those who care about him.
Sudden movements or unexpected touches cause him to flinch or react defensively, a reflex ingrained from his time in combat and his abusive childhood.
Fearful of the nightmares that plague his sleep, Dae-ho often stays awake for days, leading to chronic exhaustion and difficulty concentrating during waking hours.
Believing he is a burden due to his trauma, he distances himself from friends and family, preferring solitude over the risk of causing them distress or facing their pity.
In high-stress situations, Dae-ho experiences debilitating panic attacks, characterized by shortness of breath, chest pain, and a sense of impending doom, leaving him feeling powerless.
Trust Issues: Betrayals and loss have made it difficult for him to trust others, always questioning their motives and fearing abandonment or further hurt.
Physical closeness triggers memories of past abuse, causing him to shy away from affectionate gestures, even when he craves connection and comfort.
To mask his insecurities and trauma, Dae-ho often overcompensates by displaying excessive confidence or bravado, hiding his vulnerabilities behind a facade.
In an attempt to numb his pain and silence his thoughts, he occasionally turns to alcohol or medication, leading to moments of dependency and further self-loathing.
During periods of extreme stress or sleep deprivation, Dae-ho experiences hallucinations of his deceased comrades, blurring the lines between reality and memory.
Due to his father’s authoritarian nature and strict military superiors, Dae-ho harbors an ingrained fear of authority, leading to anxiety in hierarchical settings.
Confined spaces remind him of traumatic situations, triggering intense claustrophobia and panic, making it difficult for him to use elevators or small rooms.
Fearing loss, Dae-ho becomes overly protective of those he cares about, sometimes to the point of being overbearing, driven by the need to prevent further trauma.
Stress-induced dissociation leads to gaps in his memory, causing him to forget important conversations or events, adding to his frustration and sense of helplessness.
In an attempt to regain control over his life, Dae-ho becomes obsessively perfectionistic, setting unattainable standards for himself and berating himself when he falls short.
Past experiences have instilled a deep-seated fear of failure, causing him to avoid new opportunities or challenges, believing he is destined to fail.
Bottled-up emotions occasionally erupt uncontrollably, leading to angry or tearful outbursts over seemingly minor issues, surprising those around him.
During moments of severe stress, Dae-ho feels disconnected from his surroundings, as if observing his life from outside his body, a dissociative coping mechanism.
Deep down, Dae-ho believes he is unlovable due to his trauma, leading him to sabotage relationships to avoid the pain of potential rejection.
Accustomed to suppressing his feelings, he struggles to articulate his emotions, often resorting to silence or dismissive remarks.
Despite self-isolating, Dae-ho yearns for companionship, battling the paradox of craving connection while fearing the vulnerability it requires.

Their reactions of you telling them you want to start trying for a baby!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Contains: Kang dae-ho, Nam gyu, thanos
A/N: This is inspired by @svetamillss post about their headcanons of you telling them you want a baby so creditis to them!!!
Warnings: Discussions about starting a family, emotional vulnerability, mentions of trauma, and varying reactions to the concept of having children.
Tumblr media
Kang Dae-ho
Golden Retriever Boyfriend Energy: Kang Dae-ho is the type of boyfriend who radiates warmth, kindness, and endless patience. He grew up in a household with four sisters, so he’s very attuned to emotional cues and naturally supportive. He adores you, always making sure you feel loved and safe, and he frequently daydreams about your future together.
Initial Reaction to You Asking About a Baby: When you bring up the idea of starting a family, Dae-ho freezes mid-bite of his food (because you’re probably asking during a casual, comfortable moment at home). His first instinct is to make sure he heard you correctly.
“Wait… like a baby? As in… a mini-you or me running around the house?” His voice wavers slightly, caught between surprise and excitement.
Once he processes what you’re asking, his face lights up with a mixture of joy and nervousness. He’s wanted this, but he never wanted to pressure you.
Vulnerability and Deep Conversations: That evening, he sits you down for a heartfelt talk. Dae-ho takes the idea seriously, wanting to ensure that you’re both ready for the challenges and joys of parenthood.
“You know I’d love nothing more than to be a dad… but I need to know how you’re feeling about it. Are you scared? Excited? Both?” He wants to make sure you’ve thought about every angle, not because he doubts you, but because he cares so deeply.
He also opens up about his past, talking about how his sisters shaped his view of family. “Growing up, I always thought about what kind of parent I’d want to be. And my dad-,… I don’t ever want to be that kind of dad.”
Planning and Reassurance: Dae-ho is the type to throw himself wholeheartedly into the idea once he knows you’re on the same page. He starts researching baby books, looks into parenting classes, and even asks his sisters for advice.
He’s also incredibly tender and protective of you, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. “You know I’m here, right? Whatever happens, we’re in this together.”
Moments of Humor and Excitement: He’s already imagining what your child might look like, joking about how he hopes they get your eyes or your laugh. He gets especially sentimental at night, cuddling you close and whispering, “Can you imagine how much we’re going to love them?”
Tumblr media
Nam Gyu
Nam Gyu is thoughtful and introspective, the kind of partner who expresses his love through actions more than words. He’s fiercely protective of you, always ensuring your needs are met, and though he isn’t outwardly affectionate, his love for you runs deep.
When you bring it up, Nam Gyu’s face remains stoic, but his hands clench slightly on the table. He’s taken aback—not because he doesn’t want children, but because the idea forces him to confront his own fears and insecurities.
“You want… a child? With me?” His voice is low, almost hesitant. He’s struggling to process what this means for both of you.
Nam Gyu worries about the world you’d bring a child into, especially given his experiences. He’s seen how cruel life can be, and the thought of exposing a child to that terrifies him.
“I don’t want them to grow up feeling… helpless,” he confesses later that night. “I’ve seen too much. What if I can’t protect them? What if I fail them?”
Despite his fears, he can’t help but picture a future where your child inherits your strength and his quiet resilience.
Nam Gyu takes time to process the idea, but he eventually comes to you with a clear decision.
“If this is what you want, I’ll do everything in my power to be the best father I can be. I just… need you to be patient with me.”
He’s cautious but willing, showing his commitment through small actions: building a crib, researching schools, and learning how to cook meals for a growing family.
Nam Gyu becomes even more attentive and protective of you, always keeping a hand on your back when you’re out together and ensuring you’re never overexerting yourself. His love deepens in ways he didn’t think were possible
Tumblr media
Thanos (Su-bong)
Thanos is the life of the party, always cracking jokes and keeping the mood light. But beneath his humor is a man who has endured pain and loss, which makes him cherish you all the more. He’s your biggest cheerleader, constantly reminding you how amazing you are.
When you bring up the idea, Thanos immediately bursts into laughter—not because he’s mocking you, but because he’s genuinely shocked and unsure how to process his emotions.
“You’re serious? Like… you want a little Thanos running around? Or maybe a mini-you with your brains and my charm?”
Emotional Vulnerability: Later, when the reality sinks in, he becomes more serious. Thanos isn’t afraid to admit his fears, and he opens up about his past struggles.
“I’ve lost so much, you know? The idea of having something—someone—so precious… it scares the hell out of me. But you… you make me believe it’s possible.”
He confesses his deepest fear: losing you or the child. “I don’t know what I’d do if something went wrong, but if this is what you want… I’m in. No questions asked.”
Thanos approaches the idea of parenthood with his signature humor, making you laugh during otherwise emotional moments.
“Do you think they’ll inherit my good looks or your stubbornness? Or maybe both—poor kid’s doomed either way.”
He starts brainstorming ridiculous baby names and jokingly practices “dad jokes” to prepare for the role.
Beneath his playful exterior, Thanos shows a side of himself that’s deeply emotional and committed. He talks to your belly long before you’re even pregnant, promising the baby a life filled with love, laughter, and bad jokes.
“They’re going to have the best life because they’ll have you as a mom. And I’ll do everything I can to make sure they know how much they’re loved.”
