i didn’t realize how much my career was my identity until it wasn’t my career anymore.
i am currently at SAHM to the greatest joy in my life. i have also recently moved my family from the wild west to rural new england.
i left behind a career with an organization unlike any other in the nation. i’m not saying i regret my decision but i am having a hard time mourning that chapter of my life. i miss the purpose my work gave me, but i am grateful not to miss any “firsts” with my baby.
