I did NOT mean for this to take so long! - I've had an incredibly busy year. Apparently pursuing a new career makes whole chunks of time just vanish >_>

Admittedly there's also the fact that I'm a forgetful perfectionist who feels immense shame when anyone sees my DISGUSTING topology, and my plans to make a full remesh/cleanup were constantly delayed... by shiny new fun ideas that don't require hours of tedious retopo and weight painting

But now I've kinda just accepted the fact that people aren't really gonna care about non-symmetrical geo or barely noticeable clipping... right?

And also you'll need to accept the fact that if you wanna use this for anything more complex than a discord sticker (or 3d print) it's gonna take a bit of work, but I know you'll do a great job because you're so epic!!1

I'd previously mentioned my worries about asset scrapers/resellers/AI trainers, and I was thinking of selling it for a couple quid as a deterrent, but that didn't feel right to me since I'd used someone else's sculpt as a reference. So I just decided to say fuck it and just share it in its current state before I get distracted or forget.

!! Absolutely no reselling or commercial use whatsoever okay? !!

I feel like it's about time to do one of those irregular check-in posts of mine :3

honestly? things are going well. for the first time in a long time. I'm still in a steady relationship with plans to move in together next spring. I've been on testosterone for almost 3 months now and I'm finally starting to see some changes from it. I've changed my name at work and started socially transitioning where I can.

not every day is great, because that's how things go. but I feel much better at coping with things than I was over the last 2 years, which is refreshing. I honestly feel like I'm in that mystical place that people talk about where things truly start to get better in your 30s <3

unfortunately, I guess that means I don't feel like being on here :( I hardly check in on any social media anymore, except for checking some posts on twitter. and despite everything, social anxiety is still something that I struggle with a lot. I think there are some people here that I need to distance myself from and block and move on, but I'm not in a place where I'm ready to do that. so for now, tumblr stays off to the side.

I'm trying to settle in with some very very light journaling/creative journaling again, as well as spending my free time gaming as usual. I stopped playing destiny last December due to some personal issues that I had with the game and Bungie management. most of what's kept my attention this year is Fallout 76, some Diablo 4, and Cyberpunk 2077 (which I finally finished for the first time despite preordering it). I'm skeptical of Veilguard (and honestly not excited at all), though I will be playing because I'm a schmuck who wants to see my bb girl again
