Secret santa event entry

Ended up sketching the theory/au idea I rambled about earlier where TC betrays the Cons and goes into hiding under the Autobot’s protection, his handler being Bee (also in hiding lol). They become unlikely friends, and I think with TC wanting a more quiet life vs Bee itching to go back into the battlefield and help Optimus, it would make for a funny roommate dynamic lol. And TC gets to follow his writing passion, becoming quite well known (under a pen name) for his works on the Transformers comics ;D

Also imagining that he rejoins Bee and reluctantly becomes a mentor as well, but more on the history side, teaching the Terrans about the war and what was happening on the Decepticon’s side.

I am very invested in this lol.

So this was the print that I made for David Kaye at this year’s TFCon! I initially wanted to do something Beast Wars related, but I knew that I probably wouldn’t have finished it in time, especially since BW designs have so much detail! At any rate though, I’m still such a SUPER fan of TFA that I decided to draw all of his roles from that show (my fave of course being Lugnut)! He even did all the voices of the characters and went into a little trivia about each of them! Some of the things he noted were: - Initially he gave Warpath a native american accent due to Warpath’s name - Cliffjumper is based a bit of Clint Eastwood - Highbrow is sort of a combo between David Attenborough and Anthony Hopkins

At any rate, it was lots of fun getting to meet him again (he was actually the very first voice actor I met period back in 2010) and sure hope he returns to a future TFCon relatively soon!
