im kinda mad because, ok detour actually i got a twitter notification saying its my account anniversary meaning that i made the account 1 year ago exactly. anyways. not many times in the past years have i been particularly excited about waking up the next morning. one of those times was when i made a twitter account so i could look at more pictures of The Character. and then other times recently has been because of wplace. but now i dont have wplace anymore because the owners are wretched disgusting freaks undeserving of life.

i genuinely do just think it's transparently regressive in a weird turnaround way that the only way the people of this website enjoy a het ship is if the ENTIRE focus is on how awesome and hot and perfect and unstoppable a woman is and how the man is like there to make googly eyes at her and get like nonspecifically dommed-by-implication and we never get ANY thoughts about what she sees in him or what emotional needs are fulfilled for her besides the implication that what every woman wants is someone whos obsessed with her. you people love to find new creative ways to ignore womens interiority

Imagine you build this in-depth fictional setting over the course of decades with your friends, and then decide to turn it into a game for fun. You end up creating one of the most celebrated and well-written RPGs of all time and become celebrated for reviving a dying genre.

A few months later, you're fired from the company you founded for criticizing the new direction its taking. The company has the copyright not only to the game you made, but literally everything in the world of the game, which spans decades of lore you built for no profit with your group of friends.

Like, this is a nightmare that I didn't even know existed before I ran into it. To have, what is essentially a passion project that branched off from a TTRPG campaign, be pulled from your hands by a corporate entity that only yearns to abuse your creation for maximum profit. I couldn't imagine myself going on creating anything after that.

why are people on x having a mental breakdown about cracker barrel logo redesign. like yeah its boring and ugly but theyre acting like a historical and sacred building got bombed. and its a logo. of a restaurant. and theyre acting like its some kind of woke mind virus white hatred thing like. and theyre the ones calling liberals sensitive. your having a public tantrum about a logo change for some restaurant.
