“Well, well, we don’t– we don’t have to,” Min mumbled with a shrug. That wasn’t the response he’d been hoping for. He ran a hand through his hair and thought about what he had at home as they turned a corner.

Sucking his teeth, Min shrugged again. “I have lots of soup I just made at home,” he offered. “Just went shopping. And it’s rush hour, you know. People.”

  Food in Min’s home certainly... sounded a bit more favorable than having to deal with so many people that once. The noise was already starting to make the light throbbing in the back of his head worse and, frankly, he didn’t feel like nursing a headache tonight.

  “ ... The soup would be fine. I don’t wish to be caught out here for too long if I can help it, ” Kiku responded, dodging people that may come a bit too close as he kept behind Min.
