they weren’t doing anything. sure, they might have been making out, but sasuke had absolutely no intention of doing anything indecent. really, he hadn’t even planned on kissing her! but then sakura mentioned wanting to show him some calculations she did to make one of his shuriken attacks a bit more efficient, he said sure and went up to her room and then somewhere over the numbers and the actual good intentions, sakura kissed him and he kissed her back and then the next thing he knew, they were full out snogging on her bed only to be interrupted by her father.

Always tired but never of you
Verse: Blank period. Notes: I’m actually okay with this. // Unedited as per.
“Naruto’s not coming is he?”
“Did you actually think he would?”
Sakura sighed, propping her elbow up on the table so she could lay her chin in her palm. “No, I guess not.” She admitted with a tone of exasperation. As her eyes settled on her only dinner mate, she took some strange comfort in the touch of annoyance in Sasuke’s own gaze as he glanced out the window to her left.
At least she wasn’t only the only one who feared this would be awkward.
Was it too early for a drink, she wondered? However, as a stretch of silence spread between them, hanging like thick curtain over the pair, Sakura decided that no, no it was not too early.
“I’m not really too hungry,” She mentioned quickly, laying down her menu and catching his eye, “Maybe I’ll just have a Sake.”
His eyebrow rose and she quirked smile. As it appeared he was about to speak, the waiter appeared, surely saving Sakura from Sasuke’s judgement.
Phew.
Although, as she ordered, Sasuke’s curt “The same, please.” surprised her.
“I never pegged you as a drinker,” She said, all attention on Sasuke as the waiter poured their drinks from his tray. It was somewhat of a question, more of a ‘Sasuke?! You drink?!’ but Sakura was glad it came out more reserved.
“We dont all need Tsunade to force us into alcohol,” Sasuke scoffed, lifting the small glass to his lips.
“Tch, when you work a 22hr shift, there’s no forcing required” Sakura replied with a light wave of her free hand, picking up her own glass. The liquid slipped down her throat with ease, only a small burn in its wake.
“Plus, I bet Tsunade is a much better drinking teacher than Suigetsu or Orochimaru,” Sakura teased lightly, implication clear. Sasuke, in response, dismissed her with a quick turn of chin.
She would be able to drink him under the table for sure, Sakura thought confidently. However when she took another sip, the air became stuck in her throat, pooling the alcohol at the back of her throat for a second too long. Slapping her cupped hand over her mouth, she coughed loudly.
Sasuke watched her carefully, amusement starting to show at the corners of his lips and in the onyx glimmer in his irises. Eventually, she recovered and he placed down his glass down on the coaster, glad for the distraction. Although, when the boy looked back up, Sakura was already looking back at him with comically narrowed eyes.
“Shut up,” She said, dismissively, haughtily. He closed his eyes and sat a little further back in his seat.
“I didnt say anything,”
“You didnt need to!”

Hello everybody! We are more than happy to announce the first Sarada Uchiha Week, which is going to take place on September 12th — 18th. A special week dedicated only to her and everything else related.
Here’s how it’s going to work. Everyday there’s going to be TWO prompts (except for day 7). We did it this way so it’s more flexible for all different forms of fanwork: fanart, fanfictions, graphics, etc. Also, since it’s the first Sarada week, we kept the prompts sweet and simple. You may interpret and express the prompts however you wish. Every submission will be reblogged to this official Sarada Uchiha Week blog. Make sure to tag your work with #saradaweek within the first five tags so we can see it. There is going to be a Kickstarter on September 8th in where we will give you some questions about Sarada and you will be free to answer them in any form you please, the purpose of this small kickstarter is to get to know the participants better and to know the reasons we love Sarada so much.
