An alternate universe set during Quintesson's Reign

Bots are created for one purpose - service. Without will, in eternal fear, they are forced to work hard for the well-being of their Masters in specially designated sectors, where they live and work at the same time without having the right to leave its walls.

Your entire life is spent in constant fear and slavish labor, only to ultimately be sent to the smelting furnace for a certain death. No matter how well you work, any fault, disobedience, or breakdown is punished by death. The only reminder of your existence will be your name (your purpose is to serve by name - a model (indicated by a letter) and a serial number) entered on the deceased board—a bitter reminder to the others of their inevitable end.

Unbeknownst to the Quintessons, a rebellion is brewing. A pair of bots, led by D-16 and originally condemned to the smelting furnace, are not only alive but have formed a resistance movement. Reaching out to bots across the sector, they are persuading them to join their clandestine uprising and aid them in any way possible. Some, driven by a yearning for freedom, are indeed swayed. For instance, Orion Pax, receiver of archivist Alpha Trion and his eventual successor; and, surprisingly, Soundwave, an accomplice of Quintessons, who decided to turn his back on his "programming".

Since I have outlined the entire main plot of Au, I also wanted to share my work about the characters:

D-16 (Megatron) - One of the bots that died in the smelter long ago. He is the organizer of the resistance and its leader. Pursues noble methods, using different methods

O-12 (Alpha Trion) is the main archiver of this sector. He has all the existing information and is forced to supplement, make adjustments and sort the information. After his death, his place is supposed to be taken by Orion Pax

O-013 (Orion Pax / Optimus) - An apprentice of Alpha Trion who has never left the archives. Subsequently, he accidentally contacts D-16, covers for him, risking his own life and later becomes friends. Orion Fully agrees with D-16's target, but not with his methods.

S-001 (Soundwave) - A bot designed to track the order and report all information to the Quintessonns, making it a huge problem for D-16 and Orion. Most likely, later in the story, there was going to be a turning point in his life and he would join D-16

I didn't have any more character work or anything like that. The only thing I would like to clarify is that all bots get their real name only after joining the resistance. Having received a name, you are already going against the established system and taking a small step towards victory

hey hey, back with another SoH animatic! this one with mole knight's pre-fight dialogue; if you can't tell i spent an inordinate amount of effort on this one compared to the others lmao, namely with the backgrounds! i did them all myself, based off of various screens in the lost city
