So we're playing through Ghost of Thornton hall and we encounter this really weird bug
So normally to end the first day you crawl under the porch and hear Colton on a call with Lexi and then as you're crawling back out you pass out and wake up by your sleeping bag and then automatically call Bess and Ned
THIS TIME however we passed out when crawling back out from under the porch but when we woke up Nancy was just standing staring at the door to Charlotte's room and doesn't automatically call Bess and Ned
And so something must not have worked right to mark that's we're on the second day because every time we crawl out from under the porch we are magically teleported to staring silently at the door to Charlotte's room
EVEY SINGLE TIME
It seems like we're gonna be able to finish the game still but it's really weird and I haven't heared of this happening to anyone else

Hm, that sounds stressful. Have you tried turning into a werewolf about it?

Genuinely one of my favorite things about booting up an old Nancy Drew game is when the music loads just a second before anything else and you're just hit with the aggressive piano out of nowhere.

i'm really such a big fan of how the nancy drew and hardy boys ghostwriters were apparently required to end as many chapters on a cliff hanger as possible, because that just means you get shit like "nancy gasped as something flew towards her head!" and then you turn the page and it says "the piece of paper that was floating through the air hit her gently in the face"
