I’ve watched Supernatural from 'The Pilot' on 9/13/05, to ‘Carry On’ on 11/19/20. Every episode of every season, so I know a thing or hundred about the show’s canon. As my title and avatar indicate, I ship wincest. I liked seasons 4-6 Castiel, when he was badass and bought something to the show. But after his return in ‘The Born-Again Identity’, his presence in the show has been about keeping his ‘fans’ happy. This is not a Misha friendly blog, nor a place for destiehellers. Imagine being one of Sam’s college friends.
There’s this guy who’s always around him. Tall, green eyes, leather jacket, definitely older but somehow fits in. He picks Sam up after classes, brings him food, sometimes even waits outside the library at 2am. Everyone just assumes they’re dating, because, honestly? They act like the sweetest couple. The protective one and the nerdy one. Classic.
And it’s not just the clinginess, it’s the eye contact. Like, the kind of staring that makes everyone else uncomfortable. Long looks across the room, little smirks, that whole eye-fucking without shame thing. Nobody doubts it anymore: Sam totally has a hot, ridiculously attentive boyfriend.
So for weeks (months??) the running joke is that Sam has this super hot, incredibly devoted boyfriend.
…until one day someone casually mentions it, and Sam goes:
“Wait. Dean? He’s my brother.”
WTFFF
And the worst part? It doesn’t stop.
The eye contact. The way Dean hovers. The way Sam leans into it like he doesn’t even notice.
