When possible I like to hang my works outside the studio and around the house so I can mull over them with “fresh eyes” as I go about my day. Some works can spark a connection even before they are finished and it is beautiful when that happens. I was just starting out on this work from the “Urban Veils” series when a collector offered to buy it whenever it was complete! It was slightly unnerving because I felt I could not lose what had sparked that initial connection as I developed the work.
