in the midst of the towering stacks at flourish and blotts, surrounded by various bags of this and that from sellers down the alley, stands minerva. elegant features cant upward, dark hues trained upon leather bound volumes thick as paving stones eight shelves above her head. it’s a work in progress, the professor’s office back at hogwarts. she’s constantly seeking this and that, resources for both she and her students. though even now, barren as it is, the space seems far more cozy than her office at the ministry ever had. she’s looking for a particular transfiguration text, some ancient volume translated from it’s original arabic. her attentions, however, wander only briefly to the other occupying the space, and calm commentary tumbles from thin lips before she can seemingly think properly of it. ❝ — you’d be better off with diadema’s anthology, if you’re looking to do conjuration work. ❞
