does anyone else feel a disconnect between drawing digitally and traditionally? Like I’m picking up my iPad and will spend hours redrawing sketches/lineart/various projects on there… and then pick up my sketchbook and bust out quality sketches with hardly any edits??? $1000 iPad and $80 Apple Pencil vs $15-20 sketchbook and $2 mechanical pencil wtf

I absolutely had to get away from procreate it’s been melting my brain all weekend and today

I remember having the WORST time in 2020 while I was working through my freshman year of college. So bad that I rewatched Voltron and I think it literally saved me and got me into my major program lmao. But when it was removed from Netflix in 2024 the obsession activated in me like a sleeper agent command— that shit had me pirating season 7 and 8 😭 and now I’m drawing my first Voltron fanarts cause I never had the time to when I was in school. Y’all never underestimate the power of Voltron 👹

I absolutely love how the vld community united again after Netflix removed the show. To the point that vld fans literally come back to this site after YEARS (including me)

The best part is that my whole fyp is filled with klance fannart and even I started drawing some klance fannart for the first time in a long time

I got a cricut for my birthday so I’ve been thinking up designs I want to slap on all my stuff 🫣— and so this design (heavily inspired by LoZ Skyward Sword’s goddess cubes) was born! The minute I saw this holographic vinyl I knew it was almost a perfect match for that ~shimmery purple~ color they use in the game for things like the cubes and various goddess symbols.

… I am slowly making it… better. I feel like this version conveys a little more emotion than the first one which is mostly what I was trying to fix. There will probably be more versions (and this one isn’t completely done lol) but it’s never gonna be perfect in my eyes— I only forced myself to stop tn bc I’m gonna mess up my sleep schedule again if I keep going 🫣
