I went back to my high school to visit a Mrs. Luce one of my favorite teachers. I sat in on her senior civics class. Her students were so lovely. It turned into life class. I read poems and talked about my journey as a artist. I was lovely. At the end of class she asks me to turn around and look at the RED SIGN. It is a line from one of my poems she posted on her classroom wall a few years ago. I had no idea she ever even read that poem or that it would mean enough to her to name a poster to hang in her room. I'm overjoyed. Shout out to the magnificent young people at #Sphs! Be great!! (at South Pasadena High School)
