Matt shudders, cringing at the crunching of the chalk. He goes to comment worriedly about the child eating inedible stuff but keeps his mouth shut in fear of Mare. He wasn't as worried about Mare eating chalk since it wasn't particularly human..

Mare grasps Matt's bound hands tightly in annoyance. He shines Max a big sweet smile. He seemed to have a soft spot for children.

"I will." Mare pats Matt's shoulder, sharp claws digging into the poor man. "We'll be off then! Feel free to say hi whenever!"

Matt nods his head nervously in agreement when Mare glares at him. It was quite odd how this child seemed to not question the man who was obviously being held their against his will. Perhaps she was used to strange things...At least that's what Matt thought.

*Mare shoves a box of colorful chalk and paint into Max's arms hushedly.*

"Don't tell your brother but if you want more you know where to find me.."

*Matt is in the background, hands tied up so Mare can drag him around by his hands* "STOP EATING CHA- AH!" *A piece of rock Mare was gnawing on is thrown at Matt.*

"Don't worry about that guy! I don't even know who he is!"

"Of course. Think of it as like a...holiday gift? Do humans still celebrate Christmas..."

"Yes," Matt supplies.

Other~ Bro fr kidnapped Matt because he was bored. He treats him kind of like a pet. He holds grudges on others like no other, especially since he's not human, which lets him eat inedible things like chalk and paint. Also, Phantom is like an annoying, all "righteous acting" older brother to Mare. Mare absolutely despises him. Skilled at fighting but he's very messy. Very possessive of his things.

While he was getting shit faced at a bar in town he was kidnapped by Mare. He is quite freaked out by it but at least he's not being tortured...physically anyway. He's not very well with blood and will probably faint upon seeing it. Mare seems to think they're buddies sometimes and Matt cannot stand it.
