I’m back from the dead with exciting news. Season 2 comes out October 20th!

Apparently OOUIL will be going on Netflix to certain countries outside the US. I don’t know how true that is, but hopefully we’ll find out soon enough for non-US readers.

Karen has confirmed season two will NOT follow the events of OOUIN, but will pick up directly after the cliffhanger of season 1. She has also stated the books and shows will now be going in different directions.

Given the fact that every time this happens, it’s always a hit or miss, I’m extremely nervous to see what’s going to happen with the rest of the series.

International folks: I keep reading about One Of Us Is Lying being on Hulu?? I’m not 100% sure, but if you’re from outside the US and have Hulu, especially in Europe, check and see if it’s on there.

Okay, I’ve finally started rereading the book, but I’ll probably end up finishing it tomorrow during class before I watch the show. Since the show is tomorrow this is a OOUIL book-to-show tier list of mostly everything I want to see on screen:

1. Literally everything in the first two chapters

2. Funeral scene/police station interviews where they find out about the About That Post

3. The piano scene with Maeve/Bronwyn/Nate

4. Every single phone conversation between Nate/Bronwyn

5. The beach bonfire scene/stairway scene after Vanessa writes WHORE on Addy’s locker - it’s crucial on developing that TJ/Addy storyline, regardless of how you view them (especially if they’re putting him and Vanessa together)

6. The scene in the principal’s office after the About That post gets leaked to the school/Nate holding Bronwyn’s hand under the table

7. Nate/Officer Lopez bond - underrated relationship that I would love to see on screen

8. Mall scene with Nate/Bronwyn

9. Literally the badass Queen that is Cooper’s grandmother

10. Addy/Janae scenes; very underrated

11. Cooper/Addy

12. The little Addy/Nate we got

13. Bronwyn/Addy/Maeve/lunchroom scenes (I know, a lot of Addy, but she developed so much)

14. Kris/Cooper and the little scenes they have

15. MIKHAIL POWERS PLEASEEEEEEE I would love to see Mikhail Powers Investigations in the show

16. Cafeteria scene post-Cooper outing/the crew coming to his defense

17. Maeve and her super hacker skills

There’s definitely WAY more, and I’ll probably do another post tomorrow after I finish rereading the book, since the last portion of the book most definitely won’t be in these three episode.
