I drew Angelica Pickles from Rugrats to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the series, which first aired on August 11, 1991, on Nickelodeon.

I'm glad I did it in Krita software with the pencil tool.

J'ai dessiné Angelica Cornichon alias "Couette-Couette" de Les Razmoket, pour fêter les 34 ans de la série, diffusée pour la première fois le 11 août 1991 sur Nickelodeon.

I pay tribute to Carmen Miranda (1909-1955), who died 70 years ago, with this art inspired by her caricature in Slick Hare, a Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng starring Bugs Bunny in 1947.

Carmen was someone who died very young, at the age of only 46, and it was a big loss for Brazilian music.

Je rend hommage à Carmen Miranda (1909-1955), décédée il y a 70 ans, avec ce dessin inspiré de sa caricature dans le cartoon Slick Hare de la série Merrie Melodies, réalisé en 1947 par Friz Freleng avec Bugs Bunny.

Carmen est quelqu'un qui est décédée très jeune, à l'âge de seulement 46 ans et ça a été une grosse perte pour la musique brésilienne.

Rayman celebrates his 30th anniversary in a month.

In the wake of this anniversary, I drew this picture of Betilla the fairy in her classic design from the first Rayman in 1995.

I did a art of Jane Porter from Disney's Tarzan based on the work of Edgar Rice Burroughs.

I had of fun to draw Jane. I love her yellow dress, which reminds us of Belle's from Beauty and the Beast.

Olivia holds a rose given to her by Fievel.

This art refers to Beauty and the Beast (1991), whose character Belle is by the same animator as Olivia, Mark Henn. The rose is obviously a symbol of Beauty and the Beast.

Olivia tient une rose offerte par Fievel.

Ce dessin fait référence à La Belle et la Bête (1991), puisque que le personnage de Belle est du même animateur que Olivia, Mark Henn. La rose est évidement le symbole de La Belle et la Bête.

I made this drawing of Olivia crying to express my sadness at the absence of rare characters at Disneyland during the 70th anniversary celebration of the first Disney park in California.

Currently, I'm campaigning for the 40th anniversary celebration of The Great Mouse Detective, as part of the 40th anniversary of John Musker and Ron Clements' filmography. I'm also campaigning for a 4K restoration of the film, preserving its original charm and colors, and for the return of Basil of Baker Street to Disney Parks, this time accompanied by Doctor Dawson and Olivia Flaversham, who were absent from Disney Parks at the time of the release of The Great Mouse Detective.

I hope you share my support for the 4K restoration of The Great Mouse Detective for the film's 40th anniversary next year.

Following the 4K restoration of Disney's Cinderella (1950), I present to you a comparison of the restorations of The Great Mouse Detective (1986), the first film by John Musker and Ron Clements (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Moana) and the first animated adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, which in my opinion deserves a 4K restoration.

When I compare the 2012 Blu-ray restored version and the 2002 DVD restored version, I realize that the 2002 restored version is magnificent, with brilliant colors. The 2002 restoration is my favorite restoration of the film and I was lucky enough to have the DVD of The Great Mouse Detective with this restoration.

The first restoration directed by Dave Bossert, effects animator on The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King, released exclusively on DVD, features improved and brighter colors than those on the 1992 and 1999 VHS tapes of the film.

In April 2010, a second restoration of The Great Mouse Detective was released on DVD in the Mystery in the Mist Edition and on Blu-ray in october 2012. The second restoration stands out from the previous one on DVD with desaturated colors and close to the VHS editions but with this a clearer image.

I wish the 4K restoration of The Great Mouse Detective will be even brighter and more colorful than the previous restoration, with colors close to the 2002 restored version, which I find admirable and meticulous and which is for me the Real Restoration of the film.

I also wish it will be on par with the 4K restorations of Cinderella (1950), The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin, with the original colors preserved (on the production cels and promotional photos, Basil's tie is cyan, or even teal, not green; Olivia's blue coat isn't greenish like Dr. Dawson's bow tie).

So, I think the original colors of the film present in the 2002 DVD and this photos should be preserved in the 4K restoration for the film's 40th anniversary, which will coincide with the 40th anniversary of John Musker and Ron Clements' filmography.

Eve Titus (1922-2002) was born 103 years ago.

I drew Anatole, his family, and his friend Gaston to pay tribute to Eve Titus, the author of Anatole and Basil of Baker Street.

Personally, I'm not familiar with Anatole, even though its animated series adaptation, produced by Nelvana, premiered the year I was born.

So, I discovered the world of Eve Titus with The Great Mouse Detective, the animated film adaptation of Basil of Baker Street by Disney Studios, released 12 years before the Anatole series.

I hope you love it, becaucse i worked on it a lot.

Il y a 103 ans, naissait Eve Titus (1922-2002).

J'ai dessiné Anatole, sa famille et son ami Gaston pour rendre hommage à Eve Titus, l'auteure d'Anatole et Basil de Baker Street.

Personnellement, je ne connait pas Anatole, même si son adaptation en série d'animation produite par Nelvana est diffusée pour la première fois l'année de ma naissance.

Donc, j'ai découvert l'univers d'Eve Titus avec Basil, détective privé, l'adaptation en film d'animation de Basil de Baker Street des studios Disney, sortie 12 ans avant la série Anatole.
