Artist:
Miles Johnston
“I am happy to say that for the next three days Withdrawal will be available from the link in my bio This print is a little larger than the last one at 12x12” with a paper size of 14x14", and will be available for $50. All the juicy details about paper type and printing method are visible on the product page, but as always I am super impressed by the quality RhinoBarkingSparrow offer. The size of the print is maybe 4x5 times larger than the original drawing, and all of the tiny .3mm hatching is crisp and in perfect focus. I really enjoy getting to see these drawings at a larger size, I think it shows the time I spent layering and perfecting the surface qualities without needing to strain your eyes. Each will be hand numbered and signed by me, and once the edition is closed that will be it for the foreseeable future. If this pic is ever printed again it will be at a different size or in some capacity that should ensure the uniqueness of this edition. Thanks so much for those who picked some up already from the pre-sale, this is one of the best ways to help support me in doing what I love. Have a great weekend!“

The Dreamlike Paintings of Rafael Sottolichio
Rafael Sottolichio ( Canadian ) creates portraits that visualize hallucinatory experiences — whether in a dream state or otherwise. His characters appear to float through space, unconscious, donning goggles that obscure their eyes. We see them dreaming from the outside, though sometimes pieces of their visions seem to leak out into the painting as fantasy characters and abstract swirls of colour surround the sleepers.
