(They blinked as they had a realization.)

Have you heard about the Obake? Rumors say the Obake was once a bakeneko, but it was unsatisfied by it's cat form. As a result, the Obake changed it's shape into various other forms. A fox, a bird, a rodent, and finally, a human. While it has decided it is most satisfied in it's human form, they say that the Obake could still transform into it's previous forms when it so wishes, and that all of these forms, including the human form, share a single trait. A long, black tail.

...Hey, so you've heard about the Obake? Well, have you heard this about it?

They say the Obake spreads it's own rumor as it pretends to be a student, but there was one rumor that spread outside of it's control.

It's said that the Obake's long black tail is not visible to just anyone. If you see it, it's rumored that it's a bad omen and that it means you're close to your death...!

...However... They say if you build up the courage to approach the Obake and point out it's tail, it'll offer you some encouraging words to you in your final days.

Natsuki is enamored by English literature and literature in general, it was one of the reasons they wanted to become human in the first place and they enrolled into human school to learn more about them

They keep ending up in the same class as Teru through sheer bad luck

Natsuki's tail is only visible to other supernaturals and people who can see supernaturals (thus it becoming visible to someone when they're close to their death)

Natsuki sleeps/basically lives in Kamome Academy

Natsuki used to be a cat owned by an old kannagi woman who later became a bakeneko

Natsuki used to have two younger siblings, Fuyumi Hattori and @hattoriuta, but they were separated after their owner's death and Fuyumi being killed by exorcists
